Uchiha Pretender King, Pretending To Be Force Will Open Your Eyes!

Chapter 24: ch24

The Uchiha Clan.

Isaac Uchiha's mansion.

In a quiet room, Ethan Uchiha lay on a quilt spread over the tatami mat, staring up at the ceiling, lost in thought.

The early graduation assessment had concluded, and the crowd had dispersed. Now, Ethan was back home, but one thing bothered him—he regretted not showing off even more during the exam. It left him feeling a pang of frustration.

---

After earning a huge amount of Pretend Points, Ethan turned to the system panel to check his status:

**——**

**[Host]:** Ethan Uchiha

**[Chakra]:** Kage-level Chakra (176/10,000)

**[Bloodline Limit]:** Mangekyō Sharingan (782/10,000)

**[Ninjutsu]:**

- A-level Wind and Thunder Body Flicker Technique (7777/10,000)

- B-level Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation (7000/10,000)

- B-level Fire Release: Great Fireball (6667/10,000)

**——**

Compared to his previous state, this was a huge improvement. However, Ethan knew that from here on out, upgrading his Chakra to the next level, along with his Mangekyō Sharingan and Wind and Thunder Body Flicker Technique, would be significantly harder. The system required a full 100,000 Pretend Points to level up these abilities, and while today's showboating in front of the Kage-level ninja of Konoha had earned him a maximum of 9,999 points at a time, opportunities like that were rare.

He mused, "If only I could find more scenes like that to pretend in front of such powerful people. But it's not that simple." Earning 100,000 points, even by pretending 10 times, was a daunting challenge.

For now, he shifted his focus to two of his B-level fire jutsu, both of which were close to reaching the next level. They each only required about 3,000 more points to upgrade. Still, upgrading those would come later. At present, his attention was on his prized possession—his Mangekyō Sharingan.

---

Each pair of Mangekyō Sharingan had its own unique abilities, and Ethan Uchiha's eyes were no exception.

His Mangekyō granted him two powerful time-based techniques:

**Time Acceleration** – This ability increased his speed exponentially—2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, and so on—depending on how much Chakra and mental energy he could spare. However, if he pushed it too far, a single use could completely drain him of his energy.

**Time Quicksand** – This technique allowed him to slow down his opponents in a similar manner, making them move at fractions of their normal speed—2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, etc.—with the same Chakra and mental energy limitations.

Both techniques were rare and incredibly powerful, and as far as Ethan knew, no one else had ever possessed time-based Mangekyō abilities.

Space-based abilities, like those of Obito Uchiha or the powers of Sasuke Uchiha's Rinnegan, were also exceptionally rare. But Ethan's time-based powers were unique, and in his hands, they could be overwhelming.

---

"These abilities are almost too powerful," Ethan thought, marveling at his own potential. With **Time Quicksand**, he could trap his opponents in a time-slowing field, reducing even a Kage-level opponent to a crawl. Against a Genin, such an ability would allow him to effortlessly deal a fatal blow.

Meanwhile, with **Time Acceleration**, he could increase his own speed to a ridiculous degree. Paired with his A-level Wind and Thunder Body Flicker Technique, no one would be able to keep up with him.

Still, both abilities were difficult to master. Even using them at their maximum potential—such as a 36-fold time acceleration or deceleration—was something Ethan could only sustain for a brief moment before his Chakra and mental energy would be entirely depleted. He knew he needed to spend time honing his skills to maximize their effectiveness.

---

But there was another pressing issue—his Mangekyō Sharingan was not an Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. As he used it more, the risk of blindness increased. He realized he needed to find a way to prevent that.

"I'll have to figure out how to integrate Hashirama Senju's cells into my body. With those cells, I wouldn't have to worry about my Mangekyō going blind."

However, acquiring Hashirama cells was easier said than done. As far as Ethan knew, Orochimaru might not have started his experiments on Hashirama's cells yet, and Danzo's Root organization had probably made attempts, but with little success.

Right now, the only person who had successfully obtained and transplanted Hashirama's cells was none other than **Madara Uchiha**.

As Ethan thought of Madara, his expression darkened.
