In the forest Just below a large tree in a clearing we can see a cloaked figure fiercely carving on the ground that looks Complex consisting of 100s of individual runes in a pattern of a circle and letting the blood flow into the grooves and while also uttering syllables we can not pronounce nor comprehend as he is actively carving these patterns a dried leaf drifted in wind towards him but got incinerated and turned to ash the moment it came near his proximity.

This is the modified grafting ritual I got from system pretty early when I was in De-martel's castle before Mikael's arrival using devil runes.

These runes are essentially demon language they have hard to pronounce and incomprehensible because they instead of vibrating their vocal chords with their muscles they do so using pulses of magic and are more stable as the meaning of words do not change with time in Devil runes and there are 33million minor individual runes and 108 major runes.

These individual runes means only a single thing and not multiple for example a doughnut so they have a dedicated rune for the item so no second meanings if you dip the Doughnut in chocolate then it's a completely different rune, so this language is more precise and accurate that's why Demon's don't tell their real names.

I will take advantage of this precision of runes to precisely graft a new serum though it may also fail.

After the engraving is done I take out the heretic blood its not the heretic serum just blood it couldn't turn other's into Heretic's just like a Vampire-wolf hybrid blood can't create a hybrid only klaus's blood can create just like that this one can't create a Heretic it will work just like a normal vampire blood ,so it was just sitting there in the inventory.

I took out the blood and emptied into the bowl took out a soul crystal residue , it's the crystal like residue that forms when I refine hundreds of souls this is a very precious material like powder I sprinkled it into the bowl containing heretic blood.

Then activated the runes below and put the bowl in the middle of the magic circle as the circle glowed eerie red and now time for materials offerings witch heart and vampire heart are submerged into the serum now filled with blood from the vampire and witch I did not use any werewolf materials it will have higher chance of failure instead only used it for carving.

And for more concentration sat down in soil and chanting and using demon runes to slowly graft these its very taxing process manipulating Genetics this precisely its like doing millions of calculations and calculs problems per second and making these changes while manipulating Devil runes.

No other witch or warlock is capable of this level of manipulation even I am exhausted while being a High level psychic and this is just the beginning of process the result I desire is still far.

What I mean to do this time is make a witch-vampire hybrid, some would say isn't that heretic I say yes but I am trying to bypass being a siphoner to use magic being a vampire and this is just a whim and inspiration if it fails I can just buy Tribrid serum but that is too expansive at that price I can buy 10 heretic and 10 Hybrid serum combined or 2 upgraded hybrid serum.

After all the experiment I did over the years on vampires and witches and their blood I have realized the source of magic power is their blood and cells when interact with their soul.

Soul and blood interact to create magic power this is still rare though that's why not every child born to a witch is also a witch or warlock for example Elijah and Rebekah were just normal human not witches, while other siblings could do magic and Klaus is a werewolf.

So the reason why they lose magic when a witch becomes a vampire because their cells essentially dies and a dead cell can't produce magic so they lose their magic source.

And what I am doing is taking soul crystal residue to bring soul to resonate with magic to produce magic that create magic so soul problem is solved and then comes blood that will be compensated by this warlock heart and his blood I will take apart his blood and DNA and graft it into these vampire blood now it's a formula for a witch but can't use magic because they are vampire essnetially cell is dead so I am using the the heretic blood to taking apart it's siphoning ability and graft it into the mitochondria.

What my goal is to make so that since mitochondria has lost its abilitiy to generate magic it will slowly suck magic power from vampirsm spell but only from the vampirsm spell it can't suck magic from every source like a true heretic, thus creating a vampire- witch hybrid.

After nearly 2 hours of continuous manipulation this process is nearly completion but at this moment a change occurred like something is missing in the equation and I felt a familiar fluctuation from the serum it's the soul crystal residue that caused the problem they need soul this is causing disturbances I reluctantly took out my unpurified soul collection and sacrificed them into the magic circle the bowl calmed down and the process is completed.

After completely exhausting my magic power I just lied down there for a minute or two and then got up and collected the serum which has reduced a lot like I put in the blood of two whole adult man worth of blood from the warlock and the vampire and now all that left is just 400 ml blood red liquid.

I bought 4 test tube worth 5Lp each and divided it into 100ml each and corked them shut I don't even have enough magic power to cast a statis spell on them even all the disposable magic item I carried has been sucked dry of their magic power during the ritual nothing to use siphoning on.

I dragged my tired body back to denali's house and sneaked into my room in Denali's house the whole process from sneaking out to coming back a whole 4 hours I looked at my wrist watch its 9:45 pm ,I should take rest and recover.
