Turning My Junior Sister into a Mary Sue In Xianxia Yuri World

Volume 3 Chapter 51 / Chapter 218: The Protagonist Makes a Dazzling Entrance

Dark clouds obscured the moon, and snow piled several feet deep in the forest.

Occasionally, disciples of the Shadowmoon Sword Sect patrolled overhead, but they failed to notice the four figures racing through the woods below.

Ye Anping and his group had just emerged from a rock cave halfway up Yishui Peak, having spent roughly the time it takes to burn a stick of incense navigating the winding secret passage beneath the Yun family’s lotus pond.

After waiting for a patrol of Yishui Peak disciples to pass, they quickly slipped into the snowy woods, blending into the night with their gray cloaks as they silently made their way to the rendezvous point.

Earlier, Yu Shuiting hadn’t recognized him, and Ye Anping thought it was mostly luck.

He was wearing a mask, his hair was hidden under his hood, and the lighting in the lotus pavilion was dim.

But once they reached a brighter place, Yu Shuiting would surely recognize that he was not her partner, “Ye An.”

Thus, trailing at the back, Ye Anping contemplated how to deceive Yu Shuiting or remove her from the situation.

Killing her would be easy—she’s just a mere Foundation Establishment stage cultivator, and currently, she had her back turned to him without any defense.

However, if he acted now, the man leading ahead would definitely intervene.

And that man…

—Earlier in the secret passage, Yu Shuiting had spoken with that man, and from their conversation, Ye Anping learned that his name was He Longyu, a cultivator at the late Foundation Establishment stage.

Ye Anping estimated his chances of winning in a confrontation with He Longyu to be about ninety percent, which he felt was still a bit low.

So, he temporarily set aside the idea of dealing with Yu Shuiting and focused on the upcoming rendezvous.

The previous night, he had sent Feng Yudie to assist this group in kidnapping Yun Jiujiu and to ensure her safety.

As long as nothing unexpected happened, he would soon be able to meet up with Feng Yudie.

The only issue was that Ye Anping had no idea how Feng Yudie would manage to infiltrate the group, and he could only hope it would be something reasonable.

After a brief sprint through the snowy forest with Yun Yiyi, the group arrived at an old, three-story pavilion deep in the woods.

The walls and roof of the second and third floors were riddled with holes, allowing snow to accumulate inside.

In front of the pavilion’s gate, five people wearing the same gray cloaks as them were waiting.

Noticing their approach, one of the figures immediately tightened his grip on his sword and turned to face them.

“Who goes there?!”

He Longyu gestured for Ye Anping and Yu Shuiting to remain silent and then led them out of the woods towards the pavilion.

Only after they got closer did the others relax and sheathe their swords.

“Brother He, weren’t there five of you? Why did only three come back? Did something happen?”

“Yeah, but nothing major,” He Longyu nodded. “The young master of the Hundred Lotus Sect was prepared. Qi Yuan and Hu Renyi died at his hands, but we still managed to finish the job.”

“I see… We didn’t lose anyone here, but we couldn’t find that person named Feng Yu inside the Yun residence.”

He Longyu frowned slightly. “What about the second Young Mistress?”

“Oh, we got her. She’s over there.”

The man shrugged and gestured with his chin towards the pavilion’s gate.

Ye Anping and the others followed his gaze and saw a young girl in a blue skirt, bound hand and foot by three chains, slumped against the pavilion’s railing, seemingly asleep.

Upon seeing the girl, Ye Anping felt puzzled.

“Are you sure you didn’t kidnap the wrong person?”

—He Longyu voiced the question on Ye Anping’s mind.

“No mistake. We checked multiple times; it’s definitely the second Young Mistress.”

Still skeptical, He Longyu squinted and walked closer to verify her identity before asking, “Why is she dressed like that?”

“She was probably just drunk and causing trouble,” the man shrugged, indicating he didn’t know. “When we found her, she was dressed like that.”

“…”

He Longyu pursed his lips, clearly puzzled, but since they had managed to capture her, he didn’t press further.

He simply advised, “Tie her with a few more Binding Immortal Chains. If she wakes up along the way, these three might not hold her.”

Ye Anping also stopped wondering why Yun Jiujiu was in a dress.

He glanced at the five people in front of him, trying to discern who was who despite their covered faces, but Feng Yudie was clearly not among them.

In other words, Feng Yudie hadn’t chosen to infiltrate the group the same way he had.

So where was she now?

Ye Anping furrowed his brow, thinking for a moment, before looking around the snowy forest surrounding the pavilion.

Suddenly, he noticed a glimmering golden light from the top of a snow-covered pine tree to the east.

Oh… there she was.

Ye Anping let out a sigh of relief but couldn’t help feeling exasperated.

Couldn’t she come up with a smarter approach?

The five people sent to kidnap Yun Jiujiu were clueless, thinking they hadn’t found her, while she had been tailing them the entire way.

After securing Yun Jiujiu with two more chains, He Longyu walked down and asked, “Where are the Xiri Peak people?”

“No sign of them, probably failed.”

“Well then… if they’re not back in another quarter of an hour, we’ll take the young and second Young Mistresses back…”

Rustle—rustle—

As he spoke, the tree where Feng Yudie was hiding shook twice, and chunks of snow fell from the branches.

He Longyu immediately grew alert, pulling out a talisman from his storage bag and looking up at the tree.

“Who’s there?”

“…”

The five people who had captured Yun Jiujiu also readied their weapons, turning towards the tree where Feng Yudie was hiding.

Seeing this, Ye Anping knew a fight was likely unavoidable.

He drew his spiritual sword and carefully moved to a better position, preparing to flank these people alongside Feng Yudie once she made her move.

However, the next moment, several bird calls echoed from the top of the pine tree.

“Chirp chirp~~ chirp chirp chirp~~~”

“…”

???

Everyone below, including Ye Anping, was stunned.

—Someone was playing them for fools…

He Longyu’s eye twitched violently, his temper flaring.

He took a deep breath and threw the talisman at the top of the pine tree.

In an instant, the talisman burst into bright flames, lighting up the surrounding area for a hundred feet and revealing Feng Yudie hiding in the tree.

Feng Yudie blinked and shrank back, knowing she had no choice.

She drew her spiritual sword and jumped down from the tree, saying, “How about this, everyone? I’ll just go back the way I came, and you… pretend you never saw me, okay?”

“…”

He Longyu and the others stared at her speechlessly.

Meanwhile, Yu Shuiting, standing next to Ye Anping, was staring at the deep purple eyes visible through his mask, illuminated by the light from He Longyu’s fire talisman.

She had felt something was off earlier, but now…

“You—”

Ye Anping clicked his tongue, realizing he couldn’t wait any longer.

He raised his spiritual sword, intending to silence Yu Shuiting before she could speak.

But before he could act, He Longyu suddenly swooped in with Yun Jiujiu, positioning himself between Ye Anping and Yu Shuiting.

He snatched Yun Yiyi from Yu Shuiting’s shoulder and said, “Ye An, you and Yu Shuiting stay here and keep the silver-haired one busy. I’ll take Yun Yiyi and the others and go first.”

With that, he stepped onto his flying sword, carrying Yun Yiyi under one arm and Yun Jiujiu under the other, and flew westward, like someone carrying a pair of sacks.
