Traveling Across Movie Worlds

Chapter 92: Raccoon City

The once-bustling streets of Raccoon City had turned into a scene from a nightmare. It took only three days for the infection to sweep through, turning friends, neighbors, and strangers into mindless monsters, hungry for flesh. A few lucky ones had escaped early, but most waited, believing there might be hope—that is, until it was too late.

Inside the chaos, Umbrella, determined to contain the outbreak, reopened the underground facility to eliminate the infection at its source. But the attempt failed spectacularly. Zombies and Lickers poured out into the streets, the infection spreading even faster. By the time the remaining citizens realized the severity, they tried to escape, only to find every exit sealed. Umbrella had control over the city's borders, locking them down to ensure no one could leave—at least, not until all critical personnel were evacuated.

As for the survivors from the underground base, most didn't fare well. Umbrella captured those they could, and when James put up a fight, he was eliminated without mercy. Chad, unfortunately, was scratched by a Licker during the chaos at the train station in the underground base and was deemed the next candidate for the Nemesis project. It was a twisted twist of fate for him. Alice wasn't spared either; Umbrella took her for their own experiments, feeding her into Project Alice.

Olga, however, had managed to slip through their grasp. From what I gathered, James had bought her enough time to escape during their capture. Knowing the risks, I stayed alert and continued to keep tabs on what was happening at the mansion. That very night, I tracked Olga's escape through Raccoon City and managed to bring her to the safety of my hotel room.

After a while, Olga began to feel more at ease. The tension in her shoulders eased, her expression softened, and I could see the relief washing over her. The fear and exhaustion from days of horror had weighed heavily on her, but here, in the quiet safety of the hotel, she felt sheltered. Gratitude turned into something deeper, and I could see the spark of something more in her eyes—a warmth that went beyond simple thanks.

In that quiet moment, with the night closing around us, she leaned forward and kissed me. It was gentle at first, a gesture full of relief and longing. But soon, the kiss deepened, and I could feel the intensity of her gratitude and desire, emotions that had been bottled up and denied for too long. Rain joined us, sharing in the moment with her own unspoken feelings, and together, the three of us shared a night of intimacy and connection. It didn't take long before Olga was fully mine in every sense, her skill as a medic and combatant will be a good addition to my team in the upcoming survival in this apocalyptic world.

Now that both Rain and Olga are a part of my Harem, I decided it was time to ensure they were as strong and capable as possible for the battles that lay ahead. I retrieved the super soldier serum from my inventory, and for an energy source for their transformation, I used Tesseract energy cells—power sources I'd brought with me from "Captain America" movie world or "MCU", with infinite supply stored in my inventory.

The transformation was almost instantaneous. As the serum worked through their systems, I watched as their muscles seemed to refine, their posture becoming even more poised and confident. Rain flexed her fingers, feeling the newfound power coursing through her, while Olga moved with swiftness and agility. They were now twenty times stronger, faster, and more resilient than even the most highly-trained human soldiers.

"How do you feel?" I asked, watching them acclimate to their enhanced bodies.

Rain grinned, a new intensity lighting up her eyes. "Like I could take on anything," she replied, her voice brimming with newfound confidence.

Olga nodded, testing her reflexes as she shifted her weight, marveling at how easily her body responded. "It's incredible," she said. "I feel… unstoppable."

With Rain and Olga now operating at superhuman levels, our team was more prepared than ever. We were ready for anything Umbrella could throw at us.

Right on cue I could hear a helicopter coming towards the city. I stepped onto the balcony, my gaze tracing the path of the approaching helicopter, its unmistakable red and white Umbrella logo stark against the morning sky. Below, a convoy of black SUVs moved steadily through the deserted streets, coming to evacuate the Corporation's high-priority personnel and assets. Umbrella was already making its final moves to secure its interests, knowing the city's collapse was imminent. By tonight, Raccoon City would be completely overrun.

It's quite early in the eight o'clock in the morning and by tonight the city will completely fall. I knew what was coming next—the failed evacuation of Dr. Ashford's daughter, Angie. She'd be left behind in the chaos, trapped and alone, her father helpless to reach her as the city spiraled into anarchy. I remembered the exact location she'd end up stranded in: Raccoon City Junior School, surrounded by hordes of zombie children and isolated in a part of the city where even Umbrella would think twice before sending anyone in.

I glanced back at Rain and Olga, both still marveling at their newfound strength and reflexes. This was an opportunity to step in, to alter the events before they unfolded. We could rescue Angie and, in the process, possibly gain access to Dr. Ashford's knowledge. His expertise in viral technology would be invaluable in my future adventures.

I glanced back at Rain and Olga, both still marveling at their newfound strength and reflexes, I knew this mission would be a perfect test for them. Not only would it hone their abilities in a real-life scenario, but it would also solidify their roles within my team as capable, powerful attackers.

Turning back to them, I laid out the plan. "We have a mission. Umbrella's sending an evacuation convoy, but they're about to leave someone crucial behind. Angie Ashford, the daughter of Dr. Ashford, one of Umbrella's lead scientists. She'll be stranded at the junior school if we don't intervene."

Rain nodded, catching on immediately. "So, we're going in to get her before things go south?"

"Exactly. Dr. Ashford's knowledge could be key in bringing Umbrella down. He's likely already monitoring the evacuation, and we could gain a valuable ally."

Olga's eyes narrowed with determination. "How long until she's trapped?"

"By nightfall, the school will be completely overrun. We need to move quickly."

"This mission isn't just about saving Angie Ashford. It's your chance to get fully in sync with your new strength and speed. Once you've secured her, find a truck and fill it with supplies. Focus on essentials—food, water, clothing, medicine, camping equipment, and anything we'd need to survive in an apocalypse."

Rain grinned, excitement flashing in her eyes. "Consider it done," she said, already visualizing the plan.

Olga gave a firm nod, her gaze steady. "We'll make sure everything is in order. You can count on us."

"Good," I replied, giving them a firm nod. "Once you've got Angie and secured all the supplies, head over to the City Hall. Lay low and stay out of sight. There will be Umbrella forces stationed nearby, so don't engage until I get there tonight. We'll regroup and then make our next move."

Rain's eyes flashed with determination as she adjusted her grip on her rifle. "Understood. We'll keep a low profile."

Olga, her gaze steady and focused, nodded in agreement. "We'll be ready when you get there."

Rain and Olga quickly geared up, checking their weapons and packing extra ammunition, making sure they were prepared for whatever threats awaited them. They were now more than ready to take on this task—and I knew the challenge would help them learn the full extent of their new capabilities. I also gave them each a handgun with unlimited ammo in case they ran out of the ammo that they were carrying.

Meanwhile, I was planning on visiting the reporter, Terri Morales.
