Trapped in Paradise (In a Hentai World, as a Trap)

Volume 1 Chapter 96: Time to Go

One day, the protagonist returned to the dorm to use the bathroom and accidentally stumbled upon a girl showering inside.

The protagonist, being a seasoned LSP (Lustful Sneaky Pervert), became aroused the moment he saw the girl and swiftly subdued her, who had already melted under his gaze. The girl didn’t resist much either and, with a mix of reluctance and consent, accepted the protagonist’s advances.

The next short scene featured the girl living in the boys’ dorm. One night, she and the protagonist secretly engaged in a small-scale encounter. After the protagonist fell asleep, exhausted, the girl got up to clean herself in the bathroom, only to be caught by the antagonist.

Since the antagonist’s childhood crush had been taken by the protagonist, he harbored a strong desire for revenge. Under threat, the girl chose to submit.

From there, the story continued into a twisted dynamic of pleasure and revenge between multiple men.

After reading through this plot once more, Ning Chu pursed her lips, placed her phone face down on the desk, and lowered her head in a gloomy mood.

Honestly, she thought that with Wen Yang’s current personality as a pure and timid virgin, even if he did catch her soothing herself in the bathroom, he would most likely flee in embarrassment.

Besides, Ling Ling hadn’t even made any moves on Wen Yang yet, and there was no reason for Zhang Shaoqing to develop a desire for revenge against him. The two were pretty good friends, after all.

Staying wasn’t out of the question.

But that would be leaving her fate in the hands of Wen Yang and Zhang Shaoqing, which filled her with anxiety.

In this kind of situation, it’s always better to assume the worst-case scenario.

“Hey, Ning Chu, what do you want from the barbecue?” Zhang Shaoqing came up behind her, handing over his phone. “We’ve already placed our orders; take a look and see what you want. Tonight’s on me!”

“You look like you’re about to cry,” he teased, noticing her downcast expression.

Ning Chu pursed her lips and avoided making eye contact with him.

“Come on, stop teasing her,” Wen Yang intervened, returning from the balcony.

He wrapped an arm around Zhang Shaoqing’s shoulder, pulling the troublemaker aside. “We should buy some drinks too. Ning Chu, care to join us?”

“I don’t drink.”

“Ah, it seems like you’re not in the best mood… Never mind then,” Wen Yang scratched his head, forcing a smile.

He had already noticed the wariness and resistance in Ning Chu’s eyes, and while it made him uncomfortable, he understood that her reaction was only natural.

After all, now that her true gender had been revealed, there was no such thing as being too cautious while living in a boys’ dorm.

But seriously, why was a girl living in a boys’ dorm for so long, anyway?

Two whole months without anyone realizing—he’d almost been completely fooled himself.

“Wen Yang, I’m going home tonight,” Ning Chu said quietly.

“Huh?”

Her words caused the three roommates to turn their heads simultaneously, all staring at her in surprise.

Ning Chu hung her head, turning away from them as she softly explained, “I mentioned over the weekend that something happened at home. Well, they asked me to come back tonight.”

“I’ve already bought my ticket. I just need to pack my suitcase, and I’ll be off.”

In reality, she had no plans to go home.

Instead, she intended to check into a nearby hotel for the night. It wouldn’t be safe to leave the area too late.

Wen Yang’s heart sank.

He gazed at Ning Chu’s thin, fragile back and instinctively tried to persuade her, “Why don’t you wait until the weekend? It’s already so late; what’s the rush?”

“Just help me with attendance tomorrow… It’s fine, I’ll be back soon,” Ning Chu replied without turning around, as if to justify her sudden departure. “It’s an urgent matter, so I didn’t have time to request leave.”

“…”

Hearing no response from her roommates, Ning Chu hesitated for a moment, then, unable to suppress her emotions, continued speaking, “While I’m gone, keep an eye on Wen Yang for me, okay? Those pretty girls are all over him, and they love to trick him. Don’t let him turn into a player with a harem before I get back…”

At some point, Ning Chu had come to regard them as her best friends, her closest companions.

She worried that once she left, Wen Yang, who was still shy and inexperienced, might end up becoming a heartless playboy with women on both arms.

She also feared that Zhang Shaoqing, who always acted like a jerk, would turn into the story’s main villain, and that Wang Jie, the quiet, honest one, would get dragged into their mess and corrupted.

“And Shaoqing, could you ease up on Wang Jie? He’s a good guy and doesn’t bother you at all. Stop taking him to bars all the time; you’re going to ruin him.”

“And didn’t you say you liked cats? Take care of Black Bean for me while I’m gone. Don’t get too hung up on your childhood crush. There’s bound to be a better cat girl out there for you.”

Once her emotions got the better of her, she rambled on more than she intended, afraid of making her roommates worry.

She turned around and forced a bright smile. “Don’t worry, I’ll be back tomorrow night!”

“…”

Wen Yang stood there, stunned, staring at the radiant smile on Ning Chu’s face.

To him, it felt like he was looking at a fragile flower about to be battered by an impending storm.

He glanced at Zhang Shaoqing and Wang Jie, but both seemed just as perplexed as he was.

“I’m going to use the restroom,” Wen Yang muttered, giving his two friends a subtle look as he headed toward the door.

“I’m going to smoke.”

“I… I’m going to look at the stars.”

One by one, they all found clumsy excuses to head to the balcony.

As soon as the door was closed, they huddled together again.

The thin door did little to muffle their conversation.

“Dude, doesn’t it sound like he’s never coming back? Like he’s writing a will or something?”

“You shut up! It’s probably because you bully him all the time!”

“What the hell, Wang Jie! You know that’s not true!”

“Enough blaming each other. Let’s figure this out…”

Ning Chu sighed and glanced out toward the balcony, watching the three of them bicker before quickly descending into chaos.

Now that she had said everything she wanted to say, she felt much lighter.

Stretching her arms, she got up, opened her closet, and took out her suitcase.

She had already packed a few sets of clothes, just in case she needed to make a quick escape.

But tonight, there was no rush.

Laptop, toothbrush, towel, phone charger…

Even after packing all her essentials, there was still a little space left in the suitcase.

Ning Chu crouched down, picked up the little stuffed animal Wen Yang had won for her at the amusement park, and placed it inside.

One is enough—there’s no room for more.

Knock knock knock!

“Delivery!”

She stood up and ran to the door, grabbing the food and calling out to the guys on the balcony, “Come eat! The barbecue is here!”

“I said I’m not drinking. Why did you buy alcohol anyway?”

Ning Chu set up the small folding table as her three roommates trickled back into the room.

“After the meal, I’m leaving,” she said as she sat down. “I won’t drink, and you guys should take it easy too. We have class tomorrow.”

“Okay,” Wen Yang sat beside her and let out a heavy sigh. “I won’t drink tonight either. I’ve got plans later.”

“!!!”

Ning Chu flinched and immediately turned to him, her eyes full of suspicion.

“No! It’s not what you think!” Wen Yang quickly explained, flustered. “I… my high school buddy invited me to play some late-night duo games.”

Wow. I haven’t even left yet, and you’re already flirting with someone else! What happens after I’m gone?

Wen Yang truly is the male lead—give him just a moment without supervision, and some sneaky girl will swoop in!

Instinctively, she blurted, “No! You’re not going!”

But then, realizing she didn’t have the right to stop him, her face fell, and she looked away, muttering, “Never mind, do whatever you want…”
