Transformer in MCU

Chapter 12: Chapter 12: The Resurgent Optimus Prime

Downey finally escaped from the parking lot. The small Transformer caught up with him and transformed back into a mobile phone, fitting snugly into his hand.

Outside, it seemed like an entirely different world. Life continued as usual—pedestrians strolled by, unaware of the danger lurking below the surface.

In the underground parking lot, chaos had erupted. Many were killed, and others severely injured, left disabled and doomed to spend the rest of their lives in wheelchairs.

Downey didn't waste time on feelings of guilt or regret. He had already lost everything. What else could he possibly care about now?

He knew how dangerous this world was and understood the grim future it held. Soon, the world would be overrun by demons, ghosts, and other dark forces.

Legendary figures, long dormant, would awaken one by one from their slumbers or seals. The once-powerful warriors of past eras would rise again—only to fall like ants, leaving their bodies scattered across battlefields.

This was the dawn of an unprecedented era. Countless strongmen and powerful civilizations would collide, blooming briefly in the chaos.

But it was also a time of darkness and suffering—an age where innocent souls would perish in agony, their cries echoing through the cosmos.

In this world, you had only two options: fight and survive, or do nothing and die.

Downey, more than anyone, understood the bleakness of the future—he had seen beyond this era. He knew exactly what had to be done.

Riding his motorcycle at breakneck speed, Downey sped through the streets. Behind him, vehicles were following—some on motorcycles, others in cars—relentlessly chasing him.

They were hesitant to shoot, mindful of the civilian population surrounding them.

Ahead, a man stood in the distance, wearing glasses and a calm expression. He seemed intent on intercepting Downey. "Mr. Downey!" he shouted, waving his arms. "Our boss wants to recruit you!"

"Who's your boss?" Downey replied.

"Kingpin," the man said.

Bang! Downey shot him without hesitation. He had no interest in joining forces with Kingpin.

His ambitions were too small, and his power base too weak. In the coming turmoil, Kingpin's empire would be swept away like dust.

From a distance, Kingpin himself watched in fury. He slammed his glass down and roared with rage. "I'll kill that arrogant fool with my own hands one day!"

Downey continued to tear through the streets, his motorcycle screeching as pedestrians screamed in shock.

He navigated through narrow alleys, routes he had memorized earlier. These shortcuts would give him the time he needed to escape.

Suddenly, Downey felt a sharp pain in his stomach, and blood began to flow. He looked down, wide-eyed, as the outline of a dagger became visible, held by a faint, barely perceptible hand.

An invisible assassin!

This was a mutant proficient in stealth and assassination. Downey's face turned pale as his motorcycle transformed rapidly.

Now in Transformer form, it grabbed Downey with one hand and assembled a blade with the other, swinging at the air—but it hit nothing. The invisible attacker had already retreated, waiting to strike again.

The energy from the AllSpark within Downey surged, stabilizing and repairing the wound. He gritted his teeth and pulled the dagger from his stomach. He had anticipated being injured, but not this severely—not this soon.

Meanwhile, the pursuers were emboldened. They sensed vulnerability—Downey was wounded. They began to fire, abandoning their concerns about civilian casualties.

The air filled with gunfire as the situation spiraled out of control. The relentless pursuit continued, with men determined to take Downey down at any cost.

However, as the chase intensified, a sudden burst of machine-gun fire cut through the chaos. The attackers screamed and fell, their vehicles erupting in flames.

A group of men in black suits emerged, led by a man in sunglasses. He directed his team to fire mercilessly at Downey's pursuers. As Downey approached, the man tossed him a phone.

Downey hesitated but grabbed the phone as he sped by. It seemed these men had been sent to aid him, though why remained unclear.

He would deal with that later. For now, the fire energy from the AllSpark scanned the phone, confirming there were no hidden bombs or traps.

The attackers, momentarily shaken, regrouped and continued their pursuit. One of them, a skinny man with a loudspeaker, taunted Downey from a distance.

"Come on, fight me! I'll take you down with one hand!"

Downey couldn't help but laugh. He had been fleeing for long enough, and now it was time to fight back. He drifted his motorcycle in a tight turn, facing his attackers head-on.

The sight of Downey stopping caused a surge of excitement in the crowd—they saw their chance to strike.

But the skinny man's instincts screamed that something was wrong. His sixth sense, which had saved him countless times, told him to retreat. Despite his bravado, he began to back away, yelling hollow taunts all the while.

Then, with a deafening roar, a large, tattered truck came crashing through a nearby wall. Everyone's eyes widened in disbelief. They had assumed the truck was inoperable—but now it was charging at them.

"You're all going to die here!" Downey shouted, fury evident in his voice.

The truck transformed into a towering two-meter-tall figure. But that wasn't all. Downey flicked his motorcycle, and it was caught by the truck's massive hands. The parts of the bike disassembled and began to merge with the Transformer, enhancing it.

The crackling of machinery filled the air—a sound that struck fear into the hearts of Downey's enemies.

This was not the simple, damaged truck they had expected. This was something far more terrifying.

As the transformation completed, Downey stood at the helm of Optimus Prime, now fully resurrected and more powerful than ever. His enemies realized, too late, that they had grossly underestimated him.

They weren't just fighting a mutant—they were fighting a force far beyond their understanding.
