THIS TRANSMIGRATION SEEMS SOMEWHAT STRANGE...?

Chapter 148: W3 (24)

Watching the male's eyes water as he stared at him dumbfounded with a pitiful look, Riven felt a slight satisfaction fill him at the minor revenge, which quickly turned to dissatisfaction as he realized something.

“Does having my child bother you that much?” He questioned disgruntledly.

Dina was so shocked she short-circuited. Child?! What?! OH HELL NO.

‘I never even planned to have kids in my world! W-wait will I—I…’

“Emlyn,” Riven's voice pulled her out of her panic, “Calm down.”

Despite his displeasure with him and his obvious distaste for pregnancy, he knew he had to do something after seeing him as pale as paper.

“It was a bewitched heat, so you don't have to worry about getting pregnant.”

Emlyn's troubled being was finally soothed, and his face showed an obvious sigh of relief, which annoyed Riven even more. Was having a child with him such a bad thing? But wait, why did this bother him so much?

“Teach,” Emlyn's coy voice called out to him before explaining with a smile, “Too soon.”

“The food?” Riven asked, confusedly.

Emlyn shook his head, and leaning into Riven's ear, spoke velvety, “Your baby.”

Riven's eyes faltered, as he struggled to regain control. He tightened his grip on Emlyn's waist, feeling the male's chest vibrating with heavy laughter.

Invisible from Emlyn's eyes, his pale ears flushed pink.

What an annoying child.

***

A whole week passed after Emlyn woke up. Perhaps due to his fear, due to recent events, he gave him as much space and time to rest as needed. He still did everything with him, except that they didn't do it for quite a while, until one day when Dina decided to be a fucking idiot and get too playful during bathtime with Riven.

This ended with Emlyn being done from the bathhouse to the bedroom until his motions stopped from exhaustion. The worst part was that Emlyn's body had evolved into moving on its own while passed out.

Now, he, Emlyn, also had to worry about passing out to avoid waking up to find himself dicking down Riven's thing in his mouth.

“Teach, is so evil…” Emlyn complained lowly with a cute pout which earned him a smirk from Riven.

“Sure, my love.”

Now, he doesn't even care if he insults him QAQ.

After a whole day of rolling in bed, Riven did the unusual routine—bathed, clothed, and fed Emlyn.

This was good, but Emlyn still couldn't stop glaring at him through each step—he was getting too handsy from kissing to licking him— even giving him a hickey and teasing his butt or nipple or wherever else became the scapegoat, there was no place spared.

‘Great! Now, even something as wholesome as that had become sultry!’ Dina huffed in exasperation.

***

It was one of those days with Dina complaining to Zero about Riven. She was cooking while constantly bashing him, and Zero wanted to bluntly tell her that she looked like a bickering wife who wouldn't stop complaining about her husband despite clearly loving him dearly—the classic tsundere, but decided against it.

Something told him the scene that followed would not be pretty, and Dina might just lose her mind in anger if she realized Riven was turning her into a bickering wife.

“I just find it infuriating. Does he think acting cute would fix this? Even today, I had to bite his shoulder before he let me go! Too clingy! Was he trying to merge into one with me or something? I mean, he's hot, but that doesn't…”

Yeah, maybe he should scare her a bit with the truth.

Just when Zero was seriously pondering this to avoid having another unending complaint session about Riven, the devil himself throttled in.

Dina was so gone chattering while cooking that until Raven appeared right behind Emlyn and wrapped his arms about him, he didn't notice his presence.

Emlyn had been steering a pot of food when a broad figure embraced him from behind, causing a bundle of white hair to fall onto him like a waterfall, lightly tickling him, and a weight was placed on his left shoulder.

“Emlyn… “ Riven mumbled softly, drawing Emlyn's attention.

He (E) waved his hand, signaling the fire to reduce to avoid burning the food— After three months of ban from magic, they were now finally free to use it.

Placing the ladle on the closed pot, he turned to face Riven with his scowl before pulling the large figure into an embrace—with Riven's head slightly bent over on his shoulders due to their height difference.

While scoffing lightly, he placed his hand on Riven's head, gently patting the soft hair before asking in a worried tone, which he tried to make me as annoyed as possible, “What's wrong, Teach?”

Zero: Really it's a tsundere wife, huh?

“I had a bad dream,”

Emlyn hummed gently, signaling him to continue.

“... Where you left.”

Somehow the years of experience from the first and second world helped Dina in that moment as she avoided making the stupid, amateurish move of stifling. If she did, then that would be straightforwardly admitting the fact.

Emlyn huffed lightly and pulling Riven down, he gave him a soft peck on his lips before responding, “Seriously, Teach, why would I leave?”

His frown deepened, “Shouldn't you know from reading my memories that I no longer exist in my world? I revealed my identity and everyone who could ever know me is dead, so you're all I have left, so why would I leave? Teach is becoming more of an idiot day by day.”

Riven stared at the male's bright golden orbs—it was crystal clear without a single trace of lies. Either he was telling the truth, or he was a perfect liar.

“So if I help you save your world, you won't leave me?”

He suddenly dropped a huge bomb, quaking Dina, who was astonished—just like that?!

Riven absorbed Emlyn's shock with hidden glee before leaning in to lightly graze his teeth across his soft lips, “I'll do what you want my love.”

He kissed him mildly before pulling back, staring at Emlyn with feverish eyes.

Emlyn's face flushed at a drastic rate, and puffing up his cheeks like a hamster, he huffed exaggeratedly before shoving at the male, in an attempt to kick him out of the kitchen, only to fail pathetically.

Thus, he ended up completing his cooking while having a large baby clinging to him. Luckily, that travesty was diverted successfully, but Dina felt it wasn't so simple.

Riven had magic, divination magic to be exact, so he should know Emlyn was gonna leave somewhere in the future.

“Can you not help me screw up his prediction?” Dina probed Zero, who rejected.

“I can't. We'll be interfering too much and risk our exposure.”

“You guys are just useless.”

Zero:.......

‘At least he shouldn't be able to stop me from leaving.’

Dina trusted the Bureau. There was no way a lone magician in one world could successfully steal their employee… hopefully. The last thing she wanted was a yandere case when she still had so many worlds to go.

He could tell Riven wasn't resigned. Even while eating, he kept staring at him like he would vanish at any minute, and it was getting Dina nervous because she felt if she didn't control Emlyn's body language well, it'd scream guilty and expose her.

“Teach, please stop. I said I'm not leaving!” Emlyn whined, which only got a smirk from Riven in response. That mischievous white wolf!

After the magic ban, it took some time for Emlyn to adjust. But Riven did almost immediately. Emlyn could tell he missed using magic a lot. However, instead of locking himself up and constantly practicing magic like before, he divided his time well, effectively using it to not only research but practice and have fun with Emlyn as well.

Which was nice but wasn't exactly what an exhausted Emlyn, who was more than ready to have a break from the male, wanted. He even still had time to do it with him!

Should he be proud of himself for teaching him to multitask, or should he be annoyed that he had shot his foot?

Meanwhile, Riven was finally very close to making a breakthrough in his research, and Emlyn, seeing how he was happy about it, promised to make him a feast as a reward if he succeeded.

He didn't know something so minor was enough to trigger Riven's dedication to the extreme— Bro locked the fuck in.

By the time Riven had made the first successful reverse spell, the interest meter clocked a whopping 95%, and Dina had stayed roughly 6 months or more, spending at least 5 months or more with Riven.

When the first reverse spell was made, it turned darkness to light, and in the dimly lit room, Riven looked towards Emlyn’s eyes, sparkling with genuine excitement for him, and felt immense satisfaction. Even brighter than the light, even more fulfilling than the spell was Emlyn's jubilation and cheer.

The adorable male leaped up in happiness to give him a big hug. He, Riven, was smiling very cheerfully for the first time in his life as he spun around the giggling male, and after he placed him down, was pulled into a deep, passionate kiss, which he returned while holding onto the male's waist and pulling him closer.

At that moment, the happiness he felt was immeasurable, and he knew it wasn't because of his breakthrough, but because the male was right beside him to celebrate this beautiful memory with him. That night, the sex they had was filled with intense passion.

The interest meter rose from 88% to a whopping 95%, and Riven realized that even beyond magic, Emlyn was the dearest to his heart.

His only true love.

***

“And done!” Emlyn said with a giggle as he placed the last dish on the table while Riven followed after with a bunch of plates and cutleries.

They were using the bigger dining room, which Riven had said had been used for noble parties during ceremonies long ago, unlike the other family dining room.

It indeed was a feast, although there was no meat, the dishes were very appetizing, including,

For the appetizers: stuffed mushrooms, roasted vegetable platter, and cheese and herb tartlets.

For the main courses: pumpkin and sage risotto, stuffed bell peppers, and vegetable paella.

For the side dishes: garlic and herb mashed potatoes, grilled polenta, and crispy breadsticks with dips like olive tapenade, hummus, and sun-dried pesto.

For the desserts: fruit tarts, honey and almond baklava, and spiced poached pear.

And lastly for drinks: Spiced cider and herbal teas.

It was a bit too much for two people to make, but magic proved extremely useful in situations like this.

“Woah, can we eat all this?” Emlyn mumbled, staring at the large table filled

with dishes.

“You said you wanted it, my love.”

“I guess….” was he high then?

‘He's spoiling me too much,’ Dina worried a bit. Looking at the dressed-up Riven she gulped— He looked SO GOOD.

Riven had on a long-sleeve coat with an open front design, wide lapel, and intricate embroidery and design. The coat had a tailored fitted waist with a ribbon at the back flowing out into a layered tail behind.

Underneath it was a fitted high-neck vest buttoned up and possessing a few details that matched the coat. Beneath the vest was a collared shirt with a decorative obsidian brooch at the neck, which Emlyn had picked out himself, adding a formal touch.

His hair flowed down freely in a neat manner enhancing his elegance and regal-like aura. It seemed like God himself had descended from his throne to play with the mortals.

The mortal in question, which he fancied was dressed in a high collared long-sleeve blouse with ornate ruffles along the front and cuffs. The blouse was paired with a black vest and a v-neckline, allowing the ruffles in the shirt to be prominently displayed.

The vest was buttoned up to the front possessing gold buttons and a deep red lining peeking out at the bottom. At the back of the vest, directly to the bottom, was attached a short frilly white peplum that cascaded downwards. It was paired with black shorts with red accents and golden buttons on the sides with its length above mid-thigh.

Black garters were attached to the shorts with a pair of knee-high boots that lace up the front. To complete the outfit was a red ribbon tied at the neck, a deep red hair piece tying up his slightly overgrown hair, pointing to a tiny tail, and a pair of black gloves.

After putting aside his and Riven's apron, he took the male's hand and was escorted like a princess to his chair before Riven left for his.

With an excited grin, Emlyn exclaimed, “Let's eat!”

They took their cutleries and began eating, leisurely discussing various matters.

“Teach, was so surprised by the dressing magic, you didn't know about that?” Emlyn asked, genuinely curious.

“It just never crossed my mind to adjust it in such a way,” Riven shrugged.

‘Guess those years of watching Cartoon and Anime Transformations helped out in the end.’

“So, did you study the dance, or do we get to skip it?” Riven suggested, rather eager on the last part.

“Unfortunately, I learned it. There's no need to be in such a rush, Teach.

Bedroom matters can wait. I have to have this dance with you,” Emlyn persisted.

Riven sulked lightly, leaving Emlyn nearly choking from how cute he appeared before replying begrudgingly, “Fine.”

“Thank you~.”

The feast took quite a while but was fun, with them discussing random matters including spells. Although Emlyn's literacy in magic was not as high as Riven's, he was well informed due to the number of books he read daily, which allowed them to have pretty interesting discussions, such as these, a lot of times.

Adding to his impressive ability to churn out different ideas that would be quite fascinating if manifested into magic, Riven found him fun to talk magic with. He wasn't as devoted as him, but his desire and constant learning was a habit Riven admired him for.

Eventually, they were done with eating, and Emlyn was so bloated he decided to go straight to the ballroom to dance off some calories.

The music to be played was directly copied from Emlyn's memory and recorded secretly by the male using the recorder Riven had made, as a surprise gift for the male—who was brimming with immense curiosity to listen to it.

The ballroom was antique yet beautiful. It was a grand expansive space with high vaulted ceilings supported by carved stone columns. The wall was adorned with beautiful obsidian tapestries, which shone an eerie beautiful glow when reflected by light.

The room was illuminated with large iron sconces mounted on the wall, each holding several candles that cast a warm flickering glow across the polished stone floor. The floor itself was a mosaic of lovely dark stones arranged in beautiful patterns that led the eyes towards the center of the room.

At each corner of the ballroom, large bronze braziers burned with steady flames, filling the air with a scent of burning wood and adding a soft amber hue to the room. Heavy dark drapes framed tall narrow windows that let in the cool evening breeze.

Since this was a room directly facing the backyard, there were windows to let in the breeze and natural light. The windows were arced with iron lattice, giving it a touch of finesse.

It was the most beautiful room in the entire castle, even more lovely than Riven's bedroom, which was the heirs' room.

Riven said this was because the ballroom held several beautiful memories for his parents, causing them to vividly decorate it. Unlike the simple yet elegant nature of the other rooms, this room was more sophisticated.

Antonian Dvorak's Serenade of Strings was put on, and soon its flowing melody filled the ballroom. Riven, regal in his attire and demeanor, took the lead, guiding Emlyn to the center of the ballroom with a firm gentleness.

The music's waltz tempo carried them in a rhythmic, sweeping motion. They maneuvered effortlessly across the ballroom, steps in perfect synchronization with each other and the music.

Emlyn was spun about by Riven, the peplum of his outfit flowing out momentarily before being pulled back into a close embrace. The music mellowed into something more slow, with an expressive feeling full of emotional depth and beauty.

Their hands met and parted in soft touches, fingers brushing lightly before suddenly interlocking again. The world around them blurred as they moved as one, each step a perfect blend of art and emotions.

Whenever the music reached a sharp accent before falling, followed by a sequence of mellower notes, Riven dipped Emlyn low, their faces inches apart, sharing a sharp, intense gaze—Before Emlyn was pulled back up, and they resumed their dance.

At the lively and energetic blast of notes, Riven spun Emlyn to his side before letting go of the male who spun a full circle about him, legs moving up and down, with his hands alternating between sideways and upwards, till he did one final and powerful spin.

And then threw himself onto Riven, who caught him, lifting him up and effortlessly spinning the giggling incubus, who seemed more like an angel, before putting him down into an intimate cuddle.

Their movements spoke to each other, Emlyn's was filled with a playfulness that emulated the male's innate nature and attitude to this doomed romance. It was all but a fun game to him. Perhaps if Riven had read into this, he would have been able to tell before it became too late.

Riven's was a rhythm embodying his intense feelings for the male. Each time Emlyn pulled away playfully, he pulled him right back, reluctant to part and holding a strong insistence to hold onto the male.

As the music descended into its last notes, their movements became more complex, building up to a powerful ending. They performed a perfect spin together, magnetically gliding across the floor as they made their way through the ballroom.

And as soon as the music struck a sharp intonation, Emlyn did a light spin with his right hand being held up by Riven and his other hand on his waist—his movement faltered with the music until it stopped, and ripping his hand away from Riven's, he let himself fall in a sudden motion, alarming Riven who quickly caught him, and they ended up concluding their dance in a falling dip.

Emlyn was panting softly after the dance while grinning naughtily at Riven, who glared at him in annoyance.

“That wasn't in the routine,” Riven grumbled.

“I altered it to spice up the ending a bit,” Emlyn winked with figurative, mischievous cat ears and tail popping up his head and back.

“You'll pay for that….” Riven whispered cooly, sending alarm bells ringing in Emlyn's head, but before he could escape, was dragged into a sweet kiss.

After kissing for a long while, Emlyn was left dazzled until Riven's hand made its way to his clothes, and he immediately exclaimed, “Wait, we have to see the video first!”

That's right. Riven had made something equivalent to a camera.

As soon as Emlyn provided the idea to him, he loved it, and within a day, the camera was presented to him capable of only capturing images. It was later on, after much trial and error, that Riven added the video and coloration function within five days.

This was already impressive enough, considering the only thing to guide him was an image of a camera from Emlyn's memory. Nothing else. No mechanisms, nada.

And there was also the fact that during Riven's time, no one had ever thought of something like this. This meant everything was done by Riven alone.

Emlyn was surprised, but it soon waned, the mere modern technologies Riven had built on his own without outside interference, like the music recorder, should have shown him just how much of a genius he was.

The bad thing was that if it took him less than a day, it was made for him to regret it—The pervert had brought it into the bedroom!

‘Bad times…. Bad times,’ Dina thought while tsking. Riven was a very bad man, but she was still proud of herself for introducing the idea.

The male loved it, even projecting their time together that hadn't been captured, from his memories into the camera. And then they had a small beautiful box holding an album filled with those pictures and a bunch of portable-sized magical silver plates that held the recorded videos.

Emlyn ejected the silver plates from the video camera, which looked like a DVD plate, probably due to it being the inspiration for its make, and entered it into the projector, which Riven had also made.

The magnetic music played from the video projected, and the duo watched in a trance with locked fingers as their past-minute self danced beautifully.

“You know,” Riven started, tightening his grip on Emlyn's hand, causing the male to yelp before playfully hitting his chest. “This is one of the best things you've ever introduced to me. Apart from yourself.”

Riven ended with a soft smile, his eyes filled with a deep appreciation. Emlyn chuckled before facing away from him.

“You're welcome.”

In response, Riven stared at him with a vivid gaze, startling him. And the next instant, he was lifted and tossed over the male's shoulder.

He beat the male's back in annoyance as he bellowed, “Why do you keep doing this? I'm going to get so fat that one day you'll never be able to lift me again!”

Riven laughed heartily, “Haha, I'll take that challenge any day~.”

“Hmph!”

AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Hey guys, long time no see!

As you can tell, I’ve been stockpiling chapters. I know I'm a lazy author but I did well this time, no? I definitely did! (-_-)

W3 is coming to an end in just three more chapters, and I plan to introduce a new book to continue WAST.

Why a new book, you ask? Well, I have a lot of issues with this book—honestly.

My edits barely reflects and I have to write lots of unnecessary extra words just for it to show (if you've noticed) and I don’t even know how many collections I have (╥﹏╥) and a bunch of other complications, so I’m moving forward with a new book to continue writing WAST!

But don't worry! All you need to do is search for ‘This Transmigration Seems Somewhat Strange [S2]’, and you’ll find it—add it to your collections, and please show me all the love and support you can! {Pretty please ( ╹▽╹ )}

Think of Season 1 as the build-up to the main story, and Season 2 is where the real story begins. Get ready, because things might get more serious from now on… Or maybe not! Just read to find out, yeah? Yeah?? ( ╹▽╹ )

[Or I’ll haunt your soul for abandoning this book! Just kidding… or am I? (=_=)]

|P.S.| Don’t search for it (the second book) until around December 8th, so you’ll actually have something to read when you get there lol.

Also, Merry Christmas in advance! I’ll post some Christmas extras here, in this book to boost the last chapters of W3 for those who don’t use privileges. But if you want the Christmas extras, you’ll need to pay for privilege ( ̄ー ̄;).

That’s all for now—BYEEE. SEE YOU SOON!

And don’t forget to comment once you're done reading this, yeah? Even a little emoji works! Don’t be stingy :))
