The Walking Dead: reborn as Carl

Chapter 40: Chapter 40 Found

"There are seven people in total. That one should be their leader."

Daryl whispered as he stepped back next to Sean and Maul.

All the zombies swarmed at the door of the police station lobby. They stuffed a lot of things behind the door, such as sofas, chairs, cabinets, tables...

The glass door was broken, and what blocked the zombies from entering were the messy furniture and the bodies of the dead zombies.

Ben and several of his men were shooting non-stop, but there was still a large dark crowd outside the door.

I don't know whether it is a zombie or the corpse of a zombie.

They have a lot of guns, including pistols, semi-automatic rifles, and even submachine guns.

"I can deal with three at a time, three at most." Moore's hand holding the pistol couldn't help but tighten.

Daryl asked, "Are you sure? Are you going to kill them all?"

"Hey, bro, now is not the time to be soft-hearted. If they were the ones who discovered us, do you think these bastards would be soft-hearted?"

Sean remained silent. He was thinking, and he had to think.

Although Sean and his group did not choose a leader, almost everyone subconsciously regarded Sean as the leader.

But that doesn't mean it's a good thing.

When you gain something, you have to lose something.

"They've already got the equipment from the police armory," Sean said calmly.

"What?" Mor was stunned. "Damn it, we should have come earlier, but now, we can kill them and take their weapons!"

Sean finally spoke up, "We can't guarantee that we can kill them all right away, and there may be more than just these people here."

  "What do you mean, Sheriff?"

"They should have sent other people to the armory, otherwise they wouldn't have been able to hold out for so long. They must have sent people to act separately after the number of zombies decreased."

"Hey, Sheriff, didn't you say they got the gear?"

Sean smiled and said, "They only got the equipment from the police armory, not the real equipment warehouse. This is not something that ordinary people can know."

"Hey, what are you talking about?"

"To put it simply, a general police station will have two equipment warehouses, one for the general police equipment that may be used on a daily basis, and the other for the real firepower equipment warehouse.

It takes very complicated documents to open the firepower equipment warehouse, so for convenience, most police stations will also have a general police armory.

Can you see they have real heavy firepower? I know how to open it, follow me, let's go to the equipment storage first and let them help us guard the door. "

Sean waved his hand and slowly stepped back. Daryl followed him directly. Moore hesitated for a moment, but still followed Sean.

When they were far away from the hallway, Moore finally vented his emotions, "Hey, what's going on."

"Come with me, we have to find the director's office." Sean didn't care and took Mordaril up the stairs to the second floor.

"The equipment storehouse can't be upstairs," Daryl said softly.

"Of course, but the key to the equipment storage is upstairs. I wonder if they got it first."

The three of them went up to the second floor and scanned every room.

The second floor was very clean, at least the corridor was clean, and there was no bloodstain left by the zombies.

It seems that there was no one on the second floor during the disaster. Also, the police officers may have gone to suppress the "riot".

The corridor on the second floor was very dark. Because there was no direct sunlight, the emergency lights on both sides of the wall emitted a dim light like a dying candle.

It seems as if it will be completely extinguished at any time.

Walking down the corridor, nothing unexpected happened, except that the atmosphere was a bit creepy.

Because there are signs outside each room, there is no need to go in to check, which will be much more efficient.

"Sheriff, how do you feel about bringing us to rob the police station?" Perhaps sensing that the atmosphere was not right, Moore made a cold joke.

"Wait until the real robbery, then you can think about it slowly. Let's go to the third floor."

There was still nothing on the third floor, so Sean and the other two once again stepped onto the stairs leading to the fourth floor.

  …

"Red is going to be abandoned, the boss is really cruel."

"Otto, I advise you to be careful with your words. You want to die but I don't."

"Hey, Poker, you're such a coward! The boss is still flirting with the zombies, how could he hear us talking?"

"Oh, this world is so fucking despicable. And this boss, I really don't know when we will be abandoned."

"Speaking of which, Poker, how about we just leave right away?"

"Shit, just the two of us? How is that possible!"

"Have you forgotten about the Panda?"

The two of them walked down the stairs while chatting, without any sign of caution at all.

The two of them just reached the third floor and continued walking down the corridor without even looking at it.

At this moment, the two suddenly locked Otto and Poke's necks, and they instinctively began to struggle.

"Hey, man, I advise you not to move, otherwise if Master More slips his hand, this dagger will pierce your neck."

Moore grabbed Otto's neck and dragged him directly to the corridor on the third floor, while Sean grabbed Poke.

Sean said softly, "Calm down, okay? We just want to ask you a few questions. Next, I will slowly loosen my grip, but if you choose to run or scream, my dagger will pierce your neck mercilessly."

Poke nodded quickly, and Sean slowly released his hand that was around Poke's neck.

"Cough, cough, cough..." Poke was very sensible. Apart from coughing a few times because of the discomfort of his throat being locked, he didn't make any other movements.

Sean turned his head slightly and said to Moore, "Moore, take your case aside and ask, we will have our testimony later.

Whoever lies will die, and one hostage is enough for us."

Sean looked at Poke when he said the last sentence.

"I would never lie, don't kill me, I would never lie." Poke's voice was very flustered, and it was obvious that this Poke was not a tough guy.

Sean smiled and said, "Of course, as long as you tell the truth. Now, I ask you questions and you answer them. I will remind you one last time, don't lie."

  "No, I never will!"

"Very good." Sean nodded with satisfaction, "So how many people are there among you?"

"There are probably about thirty people. One or two people might die every few days, and a few more people might join. I don't know the exact number."

"So how many of you came to the police station?"

"Seventeen, but a few died while dealing with the zombies."

  "Do you have a campsite?"

"..." Poker hesitated, "No, we have always been in this town, just living in some houses."

Sean narrowed his eyes slightly, but said nothing, "Why did your boss send you out here?"

"Looking for...looking for the door card, the door card of the equipment library."

  "did you find it?"

This time Poker just remained silent.

Sean didn't care and changed the question directly.

"So how many people did your boss send out to look for it?"

  "Just me and Otto."

"Where is the Panda you're talking about?"
