Chapter 24: The Arrival of a Son

The Jenner household had always been lively, but tonight carried a special kind of energy. Simon and Gigi had been eagerly anticipating this moment for months. The family gathered in the living room while Simon stayed by Gigi's side in the hospital, his normally calm demeanor replaced with a mix of excitement and nervousness.

"Just breathe, love," Simon whispered, holding Gigi's hand tightly as she worked through the labor pains. His voice, steady and comforting, was her anchor.

Hours passed, and finally, the doctor announced, "It's a boy!"

Simon froze for a moment as the sound of his son's first cry filled the room. The nurse handed him the tiny bundle, and for the first time, Simon August Jenner—Major, war hero, and protector of his family—was utterly speechless.

The baby was beautiful, with a tuft of black hair and Simon's striking red eyes, softened by Gigi's delicate features.

"He's perfect," Simon whispered, his voice breaking as he gazed at his son.

Gigi, exhausted but glowing with happiness, smiled as Simon placed the baby gently in her arms.

"What should we name him?" she asked, her eyes never leaving their child.

Simon thought for a moment, then said, "How about Alexander Valor Jenner? 'Alexander' for strength, and 'Valor' for the courage he'll grow up with."

Gigi nodded, her smile widening. "It's perfect. Our little Alex."

Back at the Jenner Estate

When Simon brought Gigi and baby Alex home, the entire family was waiting. Kris, Kylie, Kim, Khloé, and even Kanye and Travis were there, all eager to meet the newest member of the family.

As Simon walked into the house carrying Alex, the room fell silent. Everyone's eyes were glued to the tiny bundle in his arms.

"Everyone," Simon announced proudly, "meet Alexander Valor Jenner."

Kris was the first to approach, tears streaming down her face as she gently took her grandson into her arms. "He's beautiful, Simon. You and Gigi did amazing."

The sisters gathered around, cooing over the baby and taking turns holding him. Even Kanye and Travis, who had been trying to stay out of Simon's way, couldn't hide their smiles.

"He's going to be a heartbreaker," Kylie joked, lightly tickling Alex's tiny hand.

Simon stood back, watching his family surround Alex with love. His heart swelled with pride and gratitude. This was the life he had always dreamed of—a family filled with love, laughter, and hope.

A Quiet Moment

Later that night, after everyone had gone to bed, Simon stood on the balcony with Alex in his arms. The city lights sparkled in the distance, but Simon's focus was entirely on his son.

"You're going to grow up strong," Simon said softly, his voice filled with determination. "Stronger than me, smarter than me. And no matter what, I'll always be here for you. To protect you, to guide you. You'll never have to fight alone."

As if understanding his father's words, baby Alex opened his eyes, staring up at Simon with a curious gaze.

Simon chuckled, brushing a finger gently against his son's cheek. "You're already a fighter, little man. Just like your mom."

Gigi joined him on the balcony, wrapping her arms around Simon as she rested her head on his shoulder.

"We're a family now," she whispered.

Simon kissed her forehead. "The best family. And we'll make sure Alex has everything he needs to live a happy life."
