The Three Body Solution

A house. 

No windows. It was dark. 

The doors were there, or were they?

A young child walked in the darkness. His mind was numbed by fear. 

He was scared. He had been standing there for a while. He didn't know how long. His legs were cramped. He was shaking slightly. 

He walked towards the door. 

It was dark. 

He saw someone. 

It was standing there, in the corner of the room.

Watching him.

South of the land of Wind.

Shisui and Namit were standing near the ocean. 

No one was around them. The two slowly started. 

No more words needed to be said. They both knew what they were doing and why. 

The two sat down in front of each other. 

They made a hand sign. 

300 shadow clones popped up. 

250 Namit and 50 Shisui. 

Namit is a jinchuriki of Isobu at the moment. So he has access to a far higher amount of chakra than the Shisui.

"Step 1."

 Namit said as they all sat down in a circular formation around the two in the center. 

Shisui activated his Devil fruit. 

His hands burrowed into the ground. 

"Do you feel it? Shisui?"

"Yes, you were right."

Shisui felt a network of roots located below him. These are roots that would seem to be just regular tree roots in any other person's eyes. 

Yet they were not. 

One event that the history of the Ninja world that its residents do not know about is the chakra tree. 

It had penetrated the entire world.

They have been present for so long that the people of the world deem them as regular tree roots.

 "Can you access it?"

"Yes. It is not resisting me."

"Can you control it?"

"No."

"Try to access the water inside. Not just the chakra flowing through it."

"I can access the water, not the chakra."

"That's good enough for now. We expected that to be the case. Can you make new roots and branches?"

"Yes. It's easy. All it wants for that is chakra. As long as I have chakra, I can extend it as far and long as I want."

"Good. Let's proceed."

Namit made a few hand signs.

The ground around them slowly sank. A dome covered them at the same time. 

In a couple of minutes, they were completely underground. 

The mud/swamp fruit gave him absolute affinity to the Water and Earth elements. 

Isobu helped as well. His chakra was also highly attuned to the two elements. 

Underground, The 250 clones of Namit held hands and started moving underground. 

They were like a long rope. Or a centipede. 

They all activated their devil fruits. Their hands goopy as they turn into mud. Their hands melded into each other. 

They were now one large singular whole. 

They all sat down and became still. 

The long rope made of Mamit shadow clones reached the ocean. Where they met a clone of Shisui. 

The last clone melded his hand with that of the Shisui clone. 

The Shisui clone activated his devil fruit and turned himself into a tree man. 

His legs entered the ocean and spread slowly as roots. Mangrove roots to be exact. As they spread, they changed into seaweed roots. And more and more. 

The Shisui clone absorbed the seawater. 

And passed it on to the Namit clones. 

For this, an extremely high amount of chakra was being expended every second. Which the Namit clones provided. 

They were all meditating and absorbing the nature chakra in the air. 

They absorbed and provided to Main Namit and Shisui. 

Shisui absorbed desalinated water from the ocean. The freshwater was carried forward by the Namit line by using their mud dimension. 

The mud dimension worked very weirdly when used in tandem with the Shadow clone. They all were independent of each other. Yet they could transfer the contents inside with a physical touch. 

They also couldn't access the Main dimension used by the three bodies. 

They could share things among the three main bodies, but not using shadow clones. 

Finally, after all this, they passed it all onto the main Shisui body connected to the Chakra tree roots. 

Shisui received an unprecedented amount of water and chakra from this setup. 

He passed on the nature chakra to the Roots and made it grow more and more. The roots slowly grew towards the north of the land of wind. To the desert. 

As it grew towards the desert, it released more and more of the water inside. 

There were roots there as well, but they were weaker and smaller. They could not transfer all that water. So Shisui had to nurture them using the nature chakra collected by the many clones of Namit. Shisui's Clones were backups that served as buffers should more be needed in the ocean area. 

As the setup was done, and both Shisui and Namit grew comfortable, they ramped it up. 

Namit and Shisui could absorb as much Nature energy as they wanted. The extra didn't turn their bodies into stone, it just made their Devil fruits go crazy. 

Shisui just grew more tree branches and Namit released more mud. 

Thirty more Shisui started to join in the absorbing water from the ocean. Ten attached themselves to the Charka tree roots. 

The expansion speed of the Root network increased exponentially.

The first person to notice what was happening was a Sunagakure Shinobi.

He was going towards his mission of carrying water to one mine in the outskirts of the desert. He was a genin. As he was running with the water in a sealing scroll, he noticed through the corner of his eye, the landscape was slowly getting darker. It should've been yellow-golden from the sand. 

Yet it was becoming darker. 

Needless to say, he was alarmed. 

He headed towards the place where the soil was getting darker and quickly reached. 

It would be more accurate to say that it reached him. The soil was getting darker at a speed faster than he could run. He picked up the soil and realized that it was cold. 

It took him a few seconds to realize that it was wet. It wasn't wet like mud, instead, it was wet like healthy soil. 

He squeezed it. Water droplets fell. 

He stared around and realized that in the time it took him to check the soil, every soil around him was dark. 

The earth was getting wet from the inside. 

He started to run towards his village. 

He didn't know what was happening. He only knew that he was seeing something that was unprecedented. 

As he ran, behind him, a small tree grew where only desert used to be. 

The landscape slowly grew greener. 

Small trees grew more and more. 

Soon, green was all you could see everywhere you looked. 

One day was all it took to make the entire Land of Wind green. 

One day to change the fate of an entire nation. 

A nation with the largest landmass, and the weakest military. 

The entire landmass suddenly became extremely valuable arable land.
