Chapter 112: CHAPTER 112
Mr.3 screamed in terror, losing the key he held and being flung into the air.
"There is someone who reacts faster than anyone else after the Sengoku period and possesses a keen eye for seizing the best chance to rescue Ace! Never lose!"
"Hey, Jinbe, please do me a favor."
The voice belonged to Sabo, Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army.
Sabo turned to Jinbe. "Please push me and Luffy into the air!"
Jinbe immediately understood Sabo's intentions. He held deep gratitude toward Whitebeard for protecting Fish-Man Island, and he had strong bonds with both Ace and Sabo. With his life already dedicated to this battle, even small tasks like this were of no concern.
"I see!" Jinbe nodded solemnly, smashing through the ice without hesitation, diving into the sea.
As Luffy remained in a daze, Sabo addressed Ivankov, the King of the Rebels:
"Ivan, I'll leave the task of covering us to you."
"Don't worry, Sabo! Straw Hat boy, too!" Ivankov replied confidently, patting his chest.
In the next moment, Jinbe shouted from beneath the waves:
"The Sea Flows Over the Shoulder!"
A powerful jet of water erupted from the ocean, launching Sabo and Luffy into the sky, heading toward Ace.
Sabo yelled, "Luffy, you go catch Ace! I'll get the key!"
In mid-air, Sabo altered his course, reaching out and snatching the key. Below, sailors immediately trained their pistols and cannons on them.
"How can you rescue Fire Fist? Don't take the justice of the Navy too lightly!" one sailor roared.
"Death Wink!" Ivankov retaliated, sending the sailors flying with his signature move.
Sabo held the key triumphantly, a smile briefly crossing his face, but then a chilling sensation crept up his back. His eyes widened as he turned, locking onto a pair of piercing purple eyes glowing with thunderous power.
Thunder Disaster Alastor.
To be honest, Sabo had long heard of Alastor. His reputation for killing a celestial dragon and his past vendetta with Whitebeard made him a figure not easily trusted. Sabo didn't naively believe that Alastor had come to help. His actions now were far from selfless.
Suppressing his doubts, Sabo refocused on Ace and Luffy.
Meanwhile, back on the battlefield, Sengoku was seething with fury. His massive golden palm swept toward Alastor, intent on delivering a fatal blow.
"You've destroyed too many good things for the old man, bastard! Pay with your life!"
A massive shockwave surged from Sengoku' palm. Alastor reacted without hesitation, coating himself in Thunder Armor, activating his electric currents to block the strike.
BOOM!
The explosion sent shockwaves through Marineford, toppling the execution platform and filling the battlefield with smoke and debris. Alastor was driven into the ground, his body battered but still conscious.

Alastor wiped the blood from his mouth, grinning despite the pain. "Be angry, hate... or run away! No one stays out of this disgusting world!"
With a sudden burst of speed, Alastor leapt from the rubble, activating his Thunder-enhanced speed, attempting to flee.
But he had already been marked.
Before he could escape, a flash of light intercepted him.
"Hie Hie no Mi—Yataka Mirror!"
The yellow monkey, Admiral Kizaru, had predicted Alastor's trajectory, keeping pace with his lightning speed.
"Bare-footed Eight-Foot light!"
Without hesitation, Kizaru unleashed a barrage of light bullets.
Alastor knew he couldn't afford to take them head-on. His priority was survival, but the navy had already tracked the submarines below.
In a desperate move, Alastor tapped into his hidden reserves, generating more electric current to shield himself from the incoming light bullets.
At the same time, he activated a new skill:
"Kami-e: Remnant of Thunder Shadow!"
In an instant, Alastor vanished, leaving behind only the afterimage of his lightning-infused body.
Whoosh!
Kizaru's light bullets tore through Alastor's body, leaving him full of holes. His heart had been shattered, and he couldn't die anymore—no matter how much food he consumed, he couldn't recover.
"Did you make it?"
Kizaru scratched his cheek, then tilted his head, his eyes widening in surprise. He cocked his mouth and said,
"Sure enough, it didn't work. Is it just an afterimage I hit? That's the Kami-e technique, the highest level of dodging among the Six Powers. He's combined it with lightning to enhance its effectiveness. Truly terrifying."
The Kami-e technique, had been used by Rob Lucci during his battle against Luffy. It had caught Luffy off guard, leaving him unable to react properly during the attack.
When Alastor reappeared, he was already behind Kizaru.
Though he had managed to block most of the light bullets with his broken body, he was still hit repeatedly, suffering serious injuries once again. Despite his remarkably strong physique, sustaining multiple severe injuries would gradually take its toll.
"Ah la la, don't be too careless, little brother."
Suddenly, the ice beneath Kizaru's feet fluctuated, and a figure materialized from the condensed ice. It was Admiral Aokiji, the green pheasant.
Kizaru and Aokiji had been deployed specifically against Alastor during the Sengoku' countermeasures. The yellow monkey may have looked slightly fatigued, but Aokiji was entirely focused.
Aokiji needed a significant victory against Alastor to secure his position as Fleet Admiral, as defeating a monstrous criminal like Alastor, who had killed a Tianlongren, would bolster his credentials against his rival, Akainu.
Aokiji wasted no time, activating his freezing air and enveloping Alastor.
"I know you have rough skin and thick flesh, invulnerable to most attacks, but the blood in your veins is still warm," Aokiji said coldly. "Let me help you cool down."
The cold air seeped into Alastor's body, attempting to freeze his blood.
Kazi Kazi...
Alastor could feel his blood freezing, but his body had defenses far beyond the norm. His internal organs and blood cells possessed extraordinary resilience, even to steel-like ice.
"Ha!"
Alastor roared, activating the Life Return state and mobilizing every cell in his body to break free from Aokiji's ice.
Click.
The ice shattered, but the effort left Alastor badly damaged.
[The host receives death damage. Defense +1000]
The intense electric current coursing through his body stimulated his cells, granting him brief moments of mobility despite his dire injuries.
Whoosh!
Alastor shot forward, vanishing in a flash of lightning.
Aokiji watched him with a mix of disbelief and frustration. "Even with your blood frozen, you can still move? That man... is beyond comprehension."
"But sorry," Aokiji added, his tone growing colder, "for my goal, I can't let you escape like this."
---
After chasing for a while, Alastor suddenly disappeared again, just like before.
Aokiji, however, wasn't surprised this time. He muttered to himself,
"I found it. It seems Trafalgar Law, one of the supernovas, has some connection with him. I really didn't expect you to collude."
Then, with a cold glare, Aokiji declared:
"Ice Age!"
He unleashed the Ice Age, freezing the submarine beneath the sea.
Alastor hadn't even recovered yet when Aokiji's ice spread, sealing him in.
Inside the submarine, the atmosphere was tense. Trafalgar Law spoke in a low, grim tone.
"Beppo, activate full power! Dive at full speed!"
"It's too close now. We don't have time," Beppo replied, his face grave.
Suddenly, a voice echoed from above.
"Give me a plank, let me float up. I'll break the ice chasing after you."
It was Shimotsuki Onimaru. Despite his usually stoic expression, there was a resolve in his eyes.
Law knew the seriousness of Onimaru's words. Even with Trafalgar Law's room to cover him, time was running out.
Tears formed in Law's eyes as he watched Onimaru. "Onimaru... How can I let you sacrifice yourself like this?"
But Onimaru didn't flinch. "Do it. Just give me a plank."
Then, another voice roared from the depths of the submarine.
"I'm not a Devil Fruit user, so I don't need a plank!"
It was Sai. Without hesitation, he surged toward the surface.
Onimaru followed closely.
Their determination to buy Alastor any chance of survival was unyielding, even if it meant their own deaths.
