Chapter 6: Master
Seeing Liam Smith back to normal, the old man asked with concern: "How's it going, get Eternal Sky Codex?"
Without speaking, Liam Smith simply nodded, absorbed in the Method of exercises that had suddenly occurred to him.
Seeing Liam Smith's indifference to him, the old man coughed twice, indicating that Liam Smith would bring his thoughts back to reality.
But this apparently didn't work, and Liam Smith acted as if he hadn't heard.
"Is your voice a little low?" He coughed until he could no longer stand it, but Liam Smith still felt nothing.
The old man knew that Liam Smith wouldn't care if he coughed up some blood.
He rolled his eyes, put them close to Liam Smith's ear and shouted, "Fire."
Liam Smith almost jumped to his feet, rubbing his almost deafened ears as he said anxiously, "Where's the fire? Where's the fire?"
But when I looked around, there was no fire anywhere, and it was probably only the bronze oil lamp in my wooden house that was burning within a hundred paces. It doesn't take Liam Smith to know it's an old man's fault.
Shaking his head, he said with some displeasure, "predecessor, please speak less loudly next time, your ears are almost deafened by you."
Keep your voice down. Can you hear me? The old man is coughing up blood and you're not even responding. So the old man thought.
Liam Smith gave him a look and said, "Cultivate Method of exercises is available, but in order to achieve the goal, it still needs many special methods of cultivating."
Upon hearing this, Liam Smith was perked up and quickly asked, with a smile on his face, "What predecessor had to recommend? Liam Smith has all listened."
The old man deliberately bought a key and leisurely said, "Now you don't need to know, from tomorrow on, just do what the old man said."
"Really, you're still a mystery?" Liam Smith looks a little upset.
The old man's face cooled slightly and said, "Why, can't you?"
"Of course, whatever you say." Liam Smith knows that things are getting ahead of people, and he doesn't know why the old man is suddenly angry, but it's best to go along with it now, otherwise if the old man goes on strike or something, Liam Smith won't have anywhere to cry.
"That's more like it." The old man snorted.
"That's right." Liam Smith seemed to remember something and asked, "There's a question I've been wanting to ask predecessor."
The old man waved his hand and said, "Tell me, what's the problem?"
"I don't know your predecessor's name yet, and I can't keep calling you my predecessor's name, right?" Liam Smith is respectful.
"Name?" The old man's body slightly shivered, his face seemed a little unnatural, and after thinking for a moment, he glanced at Liam Smith a few eyes and said: "After telling you, remember not to tell others, or it may be dangerous at any time."
"Understood." Liam Smith nodded again and again, this actually does not need to be said by the old man, Liam Smith also understands. Just look at the old man was beaten only a Remnant Soul to know that the old man must have a very powerful enemy outside, if they are found to have a relationship with him, then do not use a finger to run themselves to death?
"Listen, little fellow. My old husband's name is Brown and Alistair." Alistair was a little smug. As if the name is so glorious.
"Alistair?" Liam Smith murmured it to his lips and burst out laughing.
Alistair gets a little confused and says, "Little guy, why are you laughing? What's so funny about this?"
Liam Smith stifles a smile and says, "Don't you think that's a good name for you?" As she said, her eyes darted over Alistair.
Alistair is also a smart guy, and when Liam Smith says this, he's alluding to his current Remnant Soul. Displeased: "Is this how you Smith family teach you to talk to your elders?"
Seeing Alistair's anger, Liam Smith quickly waved his hand and apologized, "Don't be angry, I was just playing around. If you don't remember a bad person, don't be like me."
With Liam Smith actively admitting his faults and seeming sincere, Alistair wouldn't have been so stingy. After all, Alistair was a predecessor himself, and how embarrassing would it be to be angry with a predecessor?
So on the steps down, quite a noble style: "Forget it, for your young ignorance, the old husband is not with your general knowledge."
"Thank you, Miss Alistair." Liam Smith.
Liam Smith originally wanted to be called Master Brown, but when he thought this was a bit awkward, he changed his name to Alistair.
This type of address, followed by the word "master", is generally a way of showing respect for his predecessor, and is one of the oldest forms of address used by Liberty Divine Land.
When Liam Smith calls Alistair like that, he's trying to Cultivate a closer relationship with him. After all, he always tries to cultivate him. The better you cultivate, the better you cultivate for yourself.
Alistair, who didn't know what Liam Smith was up to, said with a smile, "You're a smart little guy."
Liam Smith naturally knows that the other side has seen through his heart for a long time, and said with a dry smile: "Where, compared with Alistair teacher, the younger generation is far from it."
"Miss Alistair?" Alistair seems a little sentimental about this and says to himself, "I don't remember anyone calling me that for years."
"Has Alistair been in this jade for many years?" Liam Smith asks.
Alistair, obviously not hiding anything, said candidly, "Maybe a hundred or two hundred years."
Looking at Alistair as if he were talking about something insignificant, Liam Smith was shocked again and said with his mouth wide open, "So long?"
Looking at Liam Smith's startled expression, Alistair smiled and said: "I'm glad I met you. Without your strong Soul Power, my husband would have been asleep for years."
"That's what the younger generation should do." Liam Smith fawns.
Alistair quipped: "The little guy's face is changing pretty fast. He wanted to rip my skin off."
Liam Smith said with a dry laugh, "Alistair was joking."
"But you have a temper with me." Alistair is more pleased with Liam Smith.
"No." Liam Smith's voice suddenly rises, his brow furrows, as if he's remembering something.
Alistair didn't know what Liam Smith was going to do with this surprise, and rather impatiently asked, "What now?"
"I don't think it's appropriate for me to call you Miss Alistair." Liam Smith is a bit obsequious.
Alistair says Liam Smith is trying to get closer to him by saying so many things. "Tell me," Alistair says with a smile. "What would be a proper name?"
Liam Smith heard Alistair ask this question, and with a gleam in his eyes, he said the name he had already decided to call him: "Master."
Upon hearing these two words, Alistair, who was still smiling, seemed to be getting an electric shock. His face froze, his eyes became complicated, and his body trembled a little.
The whole person, no, the whole soul suddenly became extremely vicissitudes, ignoring Liam Smith, walked alone to the window, looking up at the stars in the sky don't know what to think.
Noticing Alistair's change, Liam Smith doesn't know why he's reacting so badly. He stops his cheeky smile and whispers, "Master, are you okay?"
As if he hadn't heard what Liam Smith was saying, Alistair paused for a moment, finally heaving a deep sigh and muttering with a wry smile, "Master, those two words are too heavy."
Liam Smith knows that Alistair must have some unknown past, and it is related to the word "master", and now dare not mention these two words, carefully said: "Why don't I call you Alistair teacher, now suddenly think that is a good name."
After a few moments, Alistair seemed to calm down and turned to Liam Smith and asked, "Why are you calling him Shifu, buddy?"
"My predecessor taught me the Method of exercises and taught me to Cultivate the Fa. According to the principle, you are my teacher and I am your disciple." And then Liam Smith said, "Of course, if predecessor didn't like it, I still called you Teacher Alistair?"
Alistair did not answer Liam Smith's question, but simply waved his hand with a wry smile and said, "It's just a name.
Liam Smith doesn't understand what Alistair means when he suddenly says this. He shakes his head and says, "The younger generation doesn't understand."
"You'll understand later." Alistair is sincere and sincere.
"Are you all right now?" Now that Alistair has said that, Liam Smith doesn't have to worry about it, but Alistair's situation is more important right now.
Alistair smiled and said, "Nothing, I just had a sad memory."
"I'm sorry to mention your sorrow." Liam Smith made a sincere bow and apologized.
"The little guy doesn't have to blame himself, everything has passed, but the old husband hasn't completely moved on from the past."
"That's good." "If there's nothing else, I'm going to rest," says a relieved Liam Smith.
Looking after Liam Smith, Alistair suddenly said, "Buddy, do you really want to call me Shifu?"
Liam Smith couldn't believe his ears when he turned around and asked, "Will you take me?"
Alistair smiled and said, "You are the best budo talent and heart I have ever seen in my life. I think every warrior would like to have a disciple like you."
Alistair's words and the look on his face told Liam Smith the answer, though he didn't say it explicitly.
Liam Smith could not help but be a little excited, and did the most formal disciple salute, saying, "Disciple Liam Smith has met the master."
Liam Smith is excited not only because of the simple establishment of a relationship between a master and a disciple, but also because of Alistair's self-affirmation, so that when Cultivate in the future, Alistair will spare no effort to teach himself everything.
