Chapter 2859  Mechanisms in Motion

"Minos!" A distant shout reached the ears of Minos and his wives, making them look back the way he had come so far.

"Is she here already?" Gloria asked as she felt a chill run down her spine, glancing worriedly in the direction of where Qhava was supposed to be advancing against them.

Even though Minos was able to see into the future and had foreseen this, he felt a chill too, not at all happy to find himself in this situation. Qhava had arrived very quickly and his plan wasn't foolproof.

He had just shared his thoughts with his wives when Qhava demonstrated her arrival in Hell, giving them very little time, as Minos had predicted earlier.

"Get ready. We only have a few more seconds to do what I told you," he said to them, each of them with their cultivation artificially strengthened to the peak of level 124, with Ruth's cultivation almost advancing to level 125.

Minos' innate ability had greatly improved its quality to the point that even his women were experiencing an energy improvement almost as good as his.

But one of them would achieve that same temporary breakthrough as Minos, demonstrating 13th stage cultivation while they were still flying away.

Gloria and Ruth looked at Abby, noting the sudden improvement she had just experienced, both happy for her and interested in achieving the same.

Abby finally finished taking advantage of the breakthrough coming from Mylecent's results in Hell, advancing faster than Qhava had done when taking advantage of Minos' actions because of the difference in cultivation between them. While Qhava was previously at level 127, Abby was only at the peak of level 122 earlier. Her progress came in a matter of moments, bringing her to the same level as Minos in terms of level.

She felt the power of her husband's innate ability lifting her to the next stage, feeling a little more of his infernal crown and devil powers compared to what she could feel before. Being in the 13th stage, even temporarily, seemed to unlock some of her potential, making her feel better in this dark dimension, with her senses much sharper than she thought she would have at this level.

So she immediately began to set her husband's plan in motion, sending the necessary signals for them to get what he wanted.

Meanwhile, they avoided conversation, with Minos still carrying the group, flying at top speed.

Although he was swift at the level he was at now, Qhava was even faster. She continued to approach them quickly, first making her aura reach them, but not long afterwards coming so close to them that she appeared on the horizon.

From a distance, they could see the furious expression of that level 128 woman, her eyes glowing with a murderous desire that was hard to match.

"Minos! I'll make sure you suffer enough before you die!" she shouted, her infernal crown taking shape, as dead people and infernal guardians emerged from the ground in the surrounding area.

Meanwhile, something similar happened on their side, with Abby commanding the dead and guardians to form on her group's side.

Finally, Minos stopped flying, arriving where everything would happen if his plans were to be successfully realized.

'Now the mechanisms are in motion. It's just a question of whether the pieces in this deadly game will behave as I expect them to,' he thought, breaking into a cold sweat as he saw Qhava finally stop advancing.

This time, Qhava knew Minos couldn't use the annoying power from moments ago to block his movements, having used something that would surely be blocked from reactivating for a long time.

A power capable of stopping a True Celestial like her was no small feat. Surely part of Minos' soul was sensitized and unstable enough to form such a manipulation of laws again.

She knew he was no longer the individual she had almost had the chance to kill and as such, she raised her guard, bringing out her army. Meanwhile, darkness from her crown spread through the surroundings, forming a domain of death against the enemy group.

Abby replicated Qhava's steps, not being able to bring out a domain or a number of subordinates like her enemy's, but still generating something they could count on today.

Gloria and Ruth stepped back a little, both activating their powers to support each other, but not to do the same for Minos and Abby. Their focus there was on supporting the two from afar and not getting directly involved in the confrontation about to reach its climax. Even though they were very strong and not that far away in level from the two, this was not a battle for them.

Minos moved his powers as well, transforming into his dragon version, fully displaying his strength, which could put him on the same level as a True Celestial at the peak of level 126.

Abby should be able to do the same as him the way she was now, which should give them a few seconds before Qhava becomes extremely dangerous for them.

"Now!" He gave the signal his women had been waiting for, with Ruth and Gloria merging their powers to protect their minds, while he and Abby advanced against the powerful level 128 Devil.

Qhava advanced against them with her army, not doubting that they might cause her some losses, but certain that this was all they could manage there.

She was definitely terrified by Minos' achievements and the way he was able to change the outcomes of the actions of even existences like her. She no longer wanted him to merely suffer. She wanted him to cease to exist and never have the chance to pass through the Dawn Gates.

If he were allowed the chance, Minos would become a high-level Entitled Deity, perhaps even compete to become the new Absolute of the Upper Realm—Qhava was confident of that!

She wasn't afraid of the Upper Realm, or even of the possibility of an Absolute appearing in the Upper Realm. But that would greatly hinder her plans to command Hell and win the war from the true rulers of existence!

Qhava's scythe spun in her hands as it flew in one serious motion, certainly capable of snuffing out the lives of Celestials even stronger than Minos and Abby.

"You'll be the first to die at my hands after my advance, but you won't be the last! This time, you three won't escape me!"
