Episode 31
Episode 31
Well, it’s not a bad idea to buy them for myself.
Because I can contribute to Mai.
“Huh? Did Big Brother make this for me!?”
“Yeah, I made the best axe for Mai… So please use it, while thinking it’s from me…”
“Thank you! I love you, Big Brother!”
Perhaps such a conversation could happen…
Since I have some spare money now, it might be a good idea to go and acquire those crafting skills.
Looking at the bulletin board, it seems that professions like blacksmiths haven’t been found yet.
Perhaps, if I don’t purchase these general skills, I won’t be able to do blacksmithing, for example.
Well, certainly, in this game where creating a sub-account is troublesome, it would be a waste to only be able to do production jobs.
Perhaps all production-related skills have been lumped into these general skills.
From combat-related skills like [Forging] and [Alchemy] to fashionable equipment crafting like [Sewing] and ability enhancement like [Cooking], there are various skills.
Each one costs 50,000 gold…
To raise the skill level, you also need to increase the usage count, so if you spend time on something like [Forging], you might not have time to raise your job level.
For now, I’ll hold off.
First, let’s purchase attack-oriented general skills.
Looking at the general skills, there are various active skills as well.
Things that automatically move your body according to self-buffs or activated skills.
Or skills that apply effects to swords and such, allowing you to hit enemies yourself… There’s a variety.
The type of skill that moves your body automatically is beginner-friendly because it locks onto the target when activated near it.
However, since you can’t cancel the skill while it’s activated, your movements are decided until it ends.
It also has a recovery time after activation.
…I think these are major drawbacks for me.
The monsters I’ve fought so far were easy to read if they used skills.
There were openings after activation, so I consider these types of skills to be mainly for beginners.
For now, I’ll purchase [Power Up] and [Speed Up] of the general skills.
These increase strength and agility.
Combined with job skills, agility should be raised to quite a high value.
I also wanted [Throwing]. It increases the power of attacks by throwing, making it easier to use against mid-range opponents.
Then there’s [Parrying]. You can’t use it continuously, but if you successfully parry when the skill is activated, you can stagger your opponent.
It’s an essential skill for my fighting style.
Then there’s [High Jump]. During activation, you can jump higher than usual.
It seems that when you activate the skill, you can jump higher for a certain period of time.
When I tried jumping, it seemed to be about twice as high as usual?
I jumped to a place that should normally be unreachable at the Job Change Temple, put my hand on a dent and climbed up.
…Oh, this is nice.
With this, I can do various things.
Well, if it were my real body, I could move more without relying on such skills.
I jump down from there and end the skill check for now.
There are other skills, but they’re more on the defensive side.
It’s certainly not a loss to have them, but my stat allocation is like paper armor.
If I take one hit, it’s over either way, so there’s no need to purchase them.
If I go to a new town, new general skills might be unlocked, so I’ll leave it at this for now.
I’ll buy a bunch of [Warp] with the remaining money.
…Or rather, it seems that the weapons have already been sold out, so it looks like it’ll be a [Warp] specialty shop for a while.

Thread 164 discussing “Little Brave Online”
658: Anonymous Foreigner
The difference between the clearing groups is becoming more apparent.
659: Anonymous Foreigner
Right now, it’s the Big Three.
“Dimension”, “Assassin Break”, and “Holy Brigade” are clearly ahead.
660: Anonymous Foreigner
After these three, there are several clans trying to catch up, but it feels like they’re a bit late.
661: Anonymous Foreigner
Now, where should Clown Brother be placed…
662: Anonymous Foreigner
Clown Brother is definitely a top player.
Apparently, he’s currently not affiliated with any clan, but clans seem to want to scout him.
663: Anonymous Foreigner
I heard that “Holy Brigade” negotiated through Lulura-chan.
664: Anonymous Foreigner
Yeah, Lulura-chan answered with a voice that sounded like her ears were melting, saying, “I’ll… let him know.”
665: Anonymous Foreigner
Clown Brother is too sneaky, having such a stupidly cute fairy as a follower.
666: Anonymous Foreigner
But, once you reach level 30, you can make a contract, right? Thanks to Clown Brother, my motivation is sky-high right now.
667: Anonymous Foreigner
Lulura-chan is super cute, isn’t she…
668: Anonymous Foreigner
Lulura-chan’s customer service is getting popular on streaming sites lol
669: Anonymous Foreigner
Seriously lol
670: Anonymous Foreigner
She’s so cute though
It’s obvious this will get a lot of views.
671: Anonymous Foreigner
There was a video uploaded on the streaming site, and it’s skyrocketing to the top lol
672: Anonymous Foreigner
I wish Clown Brother would also upload strategy videos or something.
673: Anonymous Foreigner
Yeah, really.
I’d be happy if he started strategies for the main story too.
674: Anonymous Foreigner
Speaking of which, what about the main story?
There’s some suspicious information floating around, right?
675: Anonymous Foreigner
Yeah, there is.
It seems like there are several world boss monsters in the world.
676: Anonymous Foreigner
World boss monsters…
That’s why “Holy Brigade” has been working hard recently, as they want to defeat them first.
677: Anonymous Foreigner
They’re apparently pulling all-nighters… The leader has been playing various VR games and earning money, so it’s quite a gamble.
678: Anonymous Foreigner
Is “Dimension” currently challenging dungeons aiming for the next town?
679: Anonymous Foreigner
Yeah. They plan to level up in that dungeon in the morning.
They said they’d challenge the boss monsters after lunch.
680: Anonymous Foreigner
For now, there seem to be troops aiming for the next town in “Holy Brigade” as well.
It seems like they haven’t reached the dungeon yet, though.
681: Anonymous Foreigner
That’s fine as long as it doesn’t harm us regular players, but isn’t it getting dangerous with “Assassin Break” moving seriously recently?
682: Anonymous Foreigner
It’s best not to go alone when leaving the first town…
683: Anonymous Foreigner
It’s not just “Assassin Break.”
In the early stages, PK and stealing gold from opponents are quite effective… It’s becoming popular everywhere.
684: Anonymous Foreigner
You won’t get attacked in the town, but you’ll be done for as soon as you step outside… I got taken out while soloing too.
685: Anonymous Foreigner
Well, there are people who enjoy that kind of MMO, so it’s inevitable.
I just wish they’d stop actions that reduce the number of beginners.
686: Anonymous Foreigner
But, “Muscles” handling it, right? “Holy Brigade” seems to be gradually starting to deal with it too.
687: Anonymous Foreigner
It’s something they should take care of as soon as possible.
688: Anonymous Foreigner
Speaking of which, real-money trading has started too.
689: Anonymous Foreigner
Those who buy items with cash. Actually, they’re purchasing gold.
690: Anonymous Foreigner
With the current exchange rate, it’s about 1 gold = 1 yen, right?
It’s quite expensive…
691: Anonymous Foreigner
It’s amazing. It’s considered normal in recent VR games, and there are people making a living out of it.
692: Anonymous Foreigner
With the specs of this game, the rates should go even higher… In fact, it seems to be rising rapidly overseas.
693: Anonymous Foreigner
Well, there are hardcore players because it’s profitable…
694: Anonymous Foreigner
There are also those who need to earn profits through the fastest strategy distribution… otherwise, their real life would be in trouble…
695: Anonymous Foreigner
There are so many people making a living like that nowadays.
696: Anonymous Foreigner
If streaming is popular like “Dimension,” it’s strong…
697: Anonymous Foreigner
Rich people have it good… they can gather gold so easily.
698: Anonymous Foreigner
Well, regular people just have to be patient.
