The Reincarnate system: From Stoic to a heartless Monster

Chapter 3: The Champion Lucaris

After hearing from Lucaris about his true strength that could defeat five nations alone, Heath felt a dopamine boost in his body. However, being Heath, he didn't care about what he had been before. While proceeding to his room, he said, "Aren't you done speaking? I don't want to hear about my greatness. Please go back to your home. I am going to meditate for a while; I need peace for that."

Lucaris thought, "This guy will never become a warrior again, no matter how much I force him. He also lost his memory and can't do magical spells." After this, Lucaris left the place, not expecting anything from Heath.

When Heath was sitting on a chair, he saw a drawer with his name written on it. He opened the drawer instantly and found a dusty old diary, as if it hadn't been opened for years. After opening the diary, he saw his name on the first page. There were some magic spells and instructions on how to use them written inside. He was surprised because he didn't possess any magic in his original world, but in this world, everyone said he had an enormous amount of magic.

He was willing to try some spells, but his true nature forced him not to. He convinced himself by saying, "I am only trying; I am not going to fight with it."

He went outside while reading the diary. When he reached a forest, he pointed out a tree as a target and started reading the spell while rotating his hand: "No chromo ekle hocus pocus VENOM!" A yellow divine light appeared in the middle of his hand. When he pushed his hand towards the tree, the yellow light attacked the tree, and unexpectedly, the tree shattered into ash in a second. There wasn't a trace left of the tree. He was shocked and thought that if he had used that spell on a person, they would be erased from the world in a second.

He then moved to another page and saw a thunder-type magic spell. He was about to cast it, "Za zard Za Zard helloween!" but he didn't know that Lucaris was watching him from behind. After casting it, he saw the sky was covered in black thunderclouds, and his mind was signaling him to drag the thunder from the clouds and launch it wherever he wanted. Heath controlled the thunder from his mind and then launched his powerful spell on a cliff. The cliff cut off from the mountain like butter.

Then Lucaris came out from the bushes and said, "Impressive! I didn't know you wrote magical spells in a diary."

Heath replied, "Oh, yeah! I wrote it a very long time ago. Why are you spying on me? Leave me alone."

Lucaris replied, "Aren't you hungry? We can go somewhere to eat."

Heath said, "I am not hungry, but I need to explore Eldora, so we can go somewhere."

As Heath and Lucaris were walking, a group of thugs came out from a slum and started robbing them. They didn't know that Lucaris and Heath were powerful magicians. Lucaris knew that only one strike was enough for these people.

Thug one said, "Huh, trying to run for your life, fool? Killing you isn't worth it. You don't seem to have any money; you look like a beggar or homeless."

Lucaris remained calm, but then thug two said, "Hey, look, beggar! I will put my Drake in your mother. Do you have any problem with that?"

Lucaris got very angry and replied, "I am not broke, you ni##ga. I have enough money to give your mother CPR."

Then he started casting a thunder spell, "Ash Zohard Noi Simot! Berserk!" The thugs were shocked and started running backward.

Lucaris, after casting the spell, said, "Now say who is running for their life." He launched his attack and hit all of them at once, and they died on the spot.

After killing them, Lucaris said, "You thugs have no brain, huh? Running in the same direction—how foolish of you all." Then Lucaris saw Heath watching it all like it was a comedy show.

Lucaris said to Heath, "Why are you watching it like it was a comedy show? Don't you want to do some justice here?"

Heath replied, "I already told you, I am a saint who left everything behind and is just carrying the weight of his soul."

Lucaris shouted, "Enough talking, Mr. Saint! Why don't we proceed to the colosseum and watch a fight? I am sure that will motivate you to fight."

Heath replied, "Huh, motivate me? Not even gods can motivate me to fight, and I can't watch other people get hurt in front of me."

Lucaris replied, "Enough! We are going to the colosseum to watch a fight." Then he grabbed Heath's hand and pulled him into the colosseum. After they entered, everyone's eyes left the match, and everyone (three thousand people) started watching Lucaris because he was one of the best fighters and magicians in their country. He had won the fighting tournament in the colosseum seventeen times in a row with no defeats, earning him the title of "Undefeated!"

Everyone started looking and murmuring, "Oh, look, there is Lucaris, the undefeated champion!" Some fighters who were busy fighting even took a moment to look at him. Heath, with him, again felt a sensation of dopamine rushing through his body. Heath became nervous and asked, "Why is everyone looking at you, even the fighters?"

Lucaris replied, "Because I was once a fighter too. Nothing much, but now I have retired from physical hand-to-hand fighting."

Heath said, "But this is too much for a fighter. Please tell me the real reason behind it."

Lucaris replied, "Okay, then listen. I was the undefeated champion of this colosseum, holding seventeen wins in a row with no defeats."

Heath replied, "Oh, that's why everyone can't take their eyes off you. I got it; you are so strong."

Lucaris replied, "But not as strong as you, who faced five nations alone. You are the legendary magician, Heath Vader, who doesn't fear even gods."
