The Overpowered Billionaire’s System: Unlimited Money to Plunder

Chapter 2: Chapter 2: The Billionaire Nobody Expected

Waking up the next morning, I thought it had all been a dream. My dim, cramped apartment was still the same. The ceiling fan still wobbled dangerously, and the faint smell of instant noodles lingered in the air.

But then I checked my phone.

The banking app loaded, and the zeros were still there. 100,000,000,000 yuan. It wasn't a dream.

My phone buzzed suddenly, startling me. The screen displayed an unknown number. Cautiously, I picked up.

"Mr. Lin Feng?" a calm, professional voice greeted me.

"Yes, this is Lin Feng."

"This is your personal financial advisor. Your new account has been activated, and your current balance stands at 100 billion yuan. We're here to assist you with any financial management services you may require."

I froze. My throat went dry. Even hearing it aloud didn't make it easier to believe.

"You're not… making a mistake, right?" I asked hesitantly.

"No mistake, sir. Would you like to schedule a consultation?"

"N-No," I stammered. "That's all for now."

The call ended, leaving me in stunned silence. It was real. The System was real.

I spent the next hour pacing my tiny room, trying to figure out my next move. What does someone even do with that kind of money? A hundred billion yuan wasn't just life-changing; it was an entirely different existence.

The System interrupted my spiraling thoughts.

> Host, it is time to begin your ascent. Remember, your gains are limitless. Use them wisely.

"Easy for you to say," I muttered. "I've never even seen this much money before, let alone spent it."

> Suggestions are available. Shall I provide guidance?

I sighed. "Fine. What do I do first?"

> Invest in your appearance and surroundings. Power is amplified when others perceive it. Begin by presenting yourself as someone of status.

It made sense. People judged appearances, especially in this world. But with my limited wardrobe—consisting mostly of secondhand T-shirts and sneeakers—I had to admit I wasn't exactly exuding "billionaire" vibes.

Later that day, I found myself standing outside one of the city's most luxurious shopping malls. Its towering glass façade reflected the sky, and the name "Eterna Plaza" gleamed in gold letters. I hesitated for a moment, my reflection staring back at me.

I still looked like the same Lin Feng. But I wasn't. Not anymore.

I stepped inside.

The air was cooler, almost perfumed, and the soft hum of piano music played in the background. Wealth radiated from every corner. Designer stores lined the marble corridors, their displays showcasing suits, watches, jewelry, and handbags that cost more than my entire apartment.

Almost immediately, I felt eyes on me. The staff, the shoppers, even the security guards—everyone glanced at me, their gazes filled with suspicion or disdain. I couldn't blame them. Dressed in my old, wrinkled clothes, I looked like I didn't belong here.

A store clerk in a pristine uniform approached me. She gave me a polite but forced smile. "Sir, are you lost?"

"No," I said, matching her gaze. "I'm here to shop."

She raised an eyebrow, clearly skeptical. "May I ask what you're looking for?"

"I'll know it when I see it," I replied calmly.

Her smile faltered for a moment before she stepped aside. "Very well, sir. Feel free to browse."

As I wandered through the store, I noticed a commotion near the counter. A group of employees was fussing over a woman, their voices dripping with deference.

"Ms. Tang, thank you for visiting us today!"

I turned to look.

Tang Yue.

She was even more stunning in person. The CEO of Yue Industries, Tang Yue was a legend in the business world—known for her sharp mind, ruthless deals, and beauty that turned heads wherever she went. She wore a tailored black suit that accentuated her slim figure, her glossy hair tied back in a sleek ponytail.

Her gaze swept across the store, cool and unbothered. When her eyes landed on me, they lingered for just a moment before moving on.

"Another window shopper," she muttered under her breath, though I caught it.

I smirked, the System chiming in my mind.

> Host, this is an excellent opportunity to assert dominance. Shall I assist?

"Go ahead," I whispered.

The System provided a list of options, each one more extravagant than the last. I picked the simplest one: buy everything in the luxury section.

Walking up to the counter, I handed over the black card the System had created for me. The clerk looked at me, then at the card, her skepticism turning into shock as she processed the transaction.

"Sir, you… you've purchased the entire luxury collection," she stammered.

The store went silent.

Tang Yue turned her head, her usually impassive face betraying a flicker of surprise. "You bought… everything?"

I glanced at her, my smirk widening. "Why not? It's pocket change."

The staff scrambled to package my purchases, their attitudes shifting from condescension to eager servitude. Tang Yue, meanwhile, walked toward me, her heels clicking against the marble floor.

"Who are you?" she asked, her tone still cold but laced with curiosity.

"Just someone with a bit of spare cash," I said nonchalantly.

Her eyes narrowed. "Spare cash, huh? Most people don't casually spend millions on a whim. You're either a fool or someone I should be paying attention to."

I chuckled. "Why not both?"

She stared at me for a moment, then smirked. "Interesting. I'll keep an eye on you."

With that, she turned and walked away, leaving me with the distinct feeling that this wasn't the last time our paths would cross.

As I stepped out of the mall, bags in hand, the System's voice echoed in my mind.

> Excellent, Host. Your first impression was a success. Remember, power is not just about wealth—it's about how you wield it.

I grinned. "Don't worry, System. This is only the beginning."

And it was. From here on out, Lin Feng was no longer the broke, humiliated man everyone had written off.

I was going to show them all.
