The Lunmian She simply shook her head at the boy in front of her, he seemed simple enough but his soul was in the shape of a snake that she had only heard the creator refer to as the "void dragon", beings that did not belong to any world and had a unique feature to grow one part of their ability limitless, this part was often chosen at birth and also at random but from what Lunmian She could see the body part that Yuan could infinitely grow was his eye, this was also the reason she left the chaos qi inside it, it is the only part that could contain the chaos qi and she was running out of time.

While she was thinking all this, Yuan was also in his own world thinking of all the powers he had, he was worried over the fact that the powers inside of him were conflicting, this never bodes well for anyone and from what he had heard from the Bashe during his slumber multiple powers usually work to constrict each other before working together, thus he was conflicted on his gifts and unsure of where to go from here, how would he get stronger? He was not a pure beast so he could not simply live and cultivate like them he would need to follow the way that humans trained, but at the same time he had already lost his middle dantian and clearly humans value it greatly for it holds all their qi.

"What should I do now? I don't know how to cultivate these powers or in general and all I have now is a strong body, nothing compared to the likes of the Bashe or any strong beast" Yuan said in very contemplative tone, unsure of where to go in from here

"You will be taken by the humans soon, if you remember when you were born the human stated that after 5 years he would take you in as his disciple, I am unsure in what manner that will be but he is a trustworthy human, he is a follower of the creator, while he can hide it from the Heavenly Dao he cannot hide this truth from me, I recommend you follow his lead and become a body cultivator" Lunmian She said, it was getting harder to breathe now, but right after she gave handed him a black-and-silver compass with no needle, but instead, a swirling vortex at its center. "Take this with you, it will allow you safe travel throughout the verse but can only be used once a year, take it and after your training with your master go to the Murim world, it is the weakest world among the mortal ones and will allow you safety and also let you train with peace of mind while also teaching you unique skills that can only be taught in that world, grow stronger and when you've hit the peak of morality break through with your body, ascend in the way that beasts do and you will gain more and become stronger to fight the Heavenly Dao and fix the worlds you travel to, place those who have died back into the ground to once again rest until the final days are before us, my final piece of information is that you were not born in any world but in the gap or what we call the void, your species is known as the void dragon but it seems that you are different from the average one, maybe a new race that was modeled after them but you will only know once you meet them yourself" Lunmian She said, with those last words she slowly turned and became increasingly transparent until she was fully gone, now alone in the room Yuan just sat down and began to inspect the compass while also meditating to properly remember Lunmian She's last words.

This had went on for 5 hours and during this time Yuan gained a new resolve along with a new understanding of the world, he would need to start training now and at the same time he figured out that this compass also allows him to teleport around the world also long as he has been there with a 30 second cooldown, this meant it was not a battle ready artifact in any sense of the word, he would have to be careful in its use and also go hunting with the snakes to learn how they hunt, having these thoughts he left the room and appeared before the Bashe, "How was your talk with the great serpent? I don't seem to sense them anymore in their cavern" the Bashe said with curiosity, most of the time the great serpent would not leave their cave dwelling for 100's of years so it surprised him that they finally left.

"They have not left the world and will not be coming back, they came here to do something and finally finished their task, as such they left, on that note I believe it is time that I join the other snakes in hunting for food and living in the wilderness" as soon as he said this he transformed into the white snake that was in his conscience, it seemed he was able to freely move between the two forms now thanks to his primordial fusion constitution, with that he became a normal sized snake that is pure white.

"That should help you gain both instincts and get used to killing other creatures for your own survival so I can agree to that request, with the great serpent gone now I will need to create patrols and keep an eye on the other clans, with the 4 symbols title in your hands thy will not be able to catch up to my cultivation at all so there is no real worries unless they all work together to fight our clan and the Qilins that are on our side" the Bashe said in contemplation, with a wag of his tail he gestured Yuan to leave the room and follow the guide for hunts and lodging.

The first hunt began quickly and so Yuan followed the lead of the other snakes to a bunch of smaller animals and began to kill and feast but it was too easy for him, he didn't feel an interest in fighting small creatures so he left the group to find a bigger target for him to attack, after some time he found a gully grown mountain goat that seemed to be isolated and lost, taking the chance he quickly got closer to it in his human form until he was almost right in front of it, with that he blitz'd at the goat and strangled him with full force, not expecting any retaliation he was suddenly kicked extremely hard in the stomach by the beast but he kept his grip around the goats neck and squeezed even harder, it only took 2 more minutes before goat fell over dead and Yuan used his bare hands to rip the beast into half, bringing it back to the hunting group, which was caught in disbelief when it looked at the prey that he had caught, from this hunt he also learnt the lesson of not underestimating enemy or prey.

6 months passed with the constant hunting of animals until one day Yuan smelt the scent of humans and left to talk to the Bashe about his intentions of following the humans and learning from them, "Are you sure this is for the best? Humans are the favored of Heaven but they are also the most deceptive of creatures, they are the most dangerous of societies to ever live in, if you choose them then so be it but know that this is where you were born and you will always be welcome to return here when you feel the need" the Bashe said with emotion, he had personally raised the child for these 5 years and truly felt close to him, sadly all good things must come to an end, as such Yuan left to find the humans in the mountain.
