Chapter 11: Day 10
I woke up to the sound of my alarm, the same one I'd been ignoring for weeks. The room was dark, and the air felt heavy, like it was pressing down on me.
"Another day," I thought, staring at the ceiling.
But something felt different.
As I lay there, I realized how alone I was. My family was in the other rooms, living their lives, but I felt disconnected—like I was watching them through a foggy window.
"I have no one," I admitted to myself. "No friends. No real connections. Just… me."
I thought about the times I'd turned to porn to fill that void. It had been my escape, my comfort, my way of numbing the pain.
"But it's not real," I realized. "It's just a distraction. And it's not enough anymore."
I grabbed my phone and opened TikTok. My feed was filled with motivational content now, thanks to my recent curation.
A video popped up—a guy talking about starting over.
"You may not be who you want to be right now," he said, "but you have a chance to change your future. The best time to start is today."
The words hit me like a punch to the gut.
"Today," I repeated. "Not tomorrow. Not next week. Today."
I got out of bed and started my routine.
Gym:
I went to the gym, pushing myself harder than usual. The weights felt heavier, but so did my determination.
"This is for me," I thought. "No one else."
Studying:
After the gym, I sat at my desk and opened my laptop. I'd been following my study plan—programming, business, fitness, and tech—but today felt different.
"I need to do more," I realized. "I need to find new ways to make money."
As I studied, I stumbled upon two new avenues:
Trading:
I found a beginner's guide to stock trading. It was complicated, but the potential rewards were tempting.
"If I can learn this, I could make real money," I thought.
Affiliate Marketing:
I also discovered affiliate marketing—promoting other people's products and earning a commission.
"This could work," I realized. "I already spend so much time online. Why not make it productive?"
While researching, I came across an article about the future of humanity and AI. It talked about how technology was reshaping the world—automation, artificial intelligence, and the rise of the gig economy.
"If I don't adapt, I'll be left behind," I realized. "I need to learn these skills. I need to stay ahead."
That night, I sat in my room, staring at the blank wall.
"What do I want to be?" I asked myself.
The answers came slowly, like whispers in the dark.
A Creator:
"I want to make something—something that lasts. Something that matters."
An Inventor:
"I want to solve problems. I want to build things that change the world."
But the more I thought about it, the more I realized it wasn't about the title.
"It's about the journey. It's about becoming the best version of myself."
I stayed up late, my mind racing with ideas.
"What if I combined everything I'm learning? What if I created a business that used AI to solve real-world problems? What if I became an affiliate marketer for tech products? What if…?"
The possibilities were endless, but so were the challenges.
"I don't have all the answers," I admitted. "But I'm willing to find them."
Eventually, exhaustion took over. I lay in bed, staring at the ceiling one last time.
"Tomorrow is a new day," I thought. "A new chance to grow. A new chance to change."
As I drifted off to sleep, I felt a strange sense of peace.
"The New Me is still here. And I'm not giving up."
The chapter ends with the protagonist reflecting on his journey so far and looking ahead to the future. He's still uncertain, but he's determined to keep moving forward.
