Chapter 57
The events that happened a while ago flashed through Sellonia’s mind.
Not long after she woke up, Ian, Reyev, and McLion came to visit her one after another, saying they had come to like Grace and leaving.
She acknowledged that a person’s feelings couldn’t be held in check, so it can change.
However, she was suspicious that the male leads had all left her, the original female lead, and started to like Grace, an extra who had no name, so she asked Gillian to tell her about Grace.
The results showed that nothing suspicious was found.
So she gave up, thinking that the male leads’ feelings had changed.
However, what if it wasn’t just their feelings that had changed, but something else had forced them to change their hearts?
What if it was the truth that Gillian had been trying to hide?
Sellonia looked at the cake in the box she had placed on the floor.
A pound cake that smelled awful. A dessert that Reyev didn’t like.
Could this have been given to him by Grace?
She got goosebumps at the situation that fit together like puzzle pieces. Sellonia asked Emily, her pupils shaking.
“Emily, why do you like Miss Grace the most?”
“Um, I keep thinking about Miss Grace! My heart is pounding!”
“Since when?”
“I don’t know! I want to go! I want to go see Miss Grace!”
Emily was annoyed by the continued questions and the fact that she was prevented from going to Grace, and she was about to burst into tears.
Sellonia tried to comfort Emily with a bewildered face.
She keeps thinking about Grace and her heart is pounding?
It’s strange. It’s definitely strange. It doesn’t make sense.
Emily was a child who looked to be about 5 years old at most.
Suddenly blindly liking someone like this? And a noble lady at that?
“I’ll get going!”
At that moment, Emily, who had been struggling, couldn’t stand it anymore and jumped up from her seat.
“Emily!”
Sellonia quickly grabbed her small hand.
What should I do? Should I take her to the hospital?
“I’m going! I’m going to Grace!”
Sellonia quickly reached out her hand to Emily, who was struggling and throwing a tantrum, without any time to think.
She had a feeling that maybe. She thought that if her feelings were forcefully broken, it might be possible to heal it.
Her palm touched Emily’s chest.
The white healing light that flowed out from her hand was immediately sucked into Emily’s body.
“…”
Emily, who had been struggling until just now, stopped all her actions.
“Haa, haa…”
Then she exhaled quickly and repeatedly as if she was out of breath.
“It’s okay. Breathe slowly.”
Sellonia continued to comfort Emily and send healing light. It seemed like she had to keep doing it until her breathing stabilized, so she couldn’t let go.
It had already been over a minute since she had used the healing technique.
A lot of healing light had already entered Emily’s body, but her breathing still hadn’t stabilized.
Sellonia concentrated while holding onto her dizzy mind.
She was using too much strength at once and her body was straining, but she couldn’t just let go.
“Haa…”
After a few dozen seconds, Emily finally let out a steady breath.
Sellonia’s face turned pale and she slowly removed her palm.
The healing light that had been brightly illuminating the space between the two of them began to fade and soon completely disappeared.
Her eyes were spinning. Sweat was dripping down her forehead, and the blood had evaporated from her face.
Sellonia barely managed to keep her body from tilting and looked at Emily’s complexion.
“Emily, are you okay?”
“Yes…”
Emily nodded, wriggling her small hands.
“Are you sure you’re okay? You don’t have to go see Miss Grace?”
“Who is that?”
Emily tilted her head with clear eyes as if she had never heard that name before.

“What happened?”
Grace asked Gale with an anxious face.
As soon as she returned to the mansion with Reyev, she called Gale and ordered him to find the child who had received the cake.
And now Gale had just finished searching and returned.
“We didn’t find the child with the abnormal symptoms.”
“What? Did you search correctly? Did you look in the direction I told you like a mouse?”
“Yes. I looked twice, but I didn’t find the cake box or the child with the symptoms.”
Despite Grace’s nervous questioning, Gale answered calmly.
“Where did she go!”
She bit her fingernails with an anxious face.
“Why did he give that to the child…! Anyway, it doesn’t help.”
Then, she grumbled, criticizing Reyev’s actions that created this situation.
“Go look for it again! And if she comes to the front of the house, deal with it quickly!”
“Yes. I understand.”
Gail bowed as if he would obey the order and immediately tore the scroll. Just like before, he disappeared with the magic circle.
“Aaagh! Really!”
Grace writhed and tossed her hair alone as if she was frustrated with the situation that was so nerve-racking and annoying.
However, she soon stood in front of the mirror, suppressing her boiling emotions.
After fixing her messy hair and checking her appearance once more, she left the room.
Then she approached Reyev, who was waiting in the dining room.
“Sir Reyev, is the food to your liking?”
A wry smile was drawn toward Reyev.

“M-Miss!”
Ella stumbled out of the room and ran straight to Sellonia.
“What happened.”
Seeing Sellonia’s pale face, Tan frowned and approached her.
He immediately hugged Sellonia, who seemed about to collapse, with both arms.
In the blink of an eye, she was lifted into the air with a feeling of her body floating. His strong arms were firmly supporting her knees and back.
She wanted to ask him to put her down because of the awkward position, yet she didn’t have the strength to walk to the carriage.
“Excuse me… What about Emily?”
“It’s okay. Go in.”
When the girl asked with a look of concern, Sellonia smiled faintly and answered.
“Thank you!”
The girl bowed deeply and quickly went into the room.
“Ella, can you take care of this?”
“Yes, yes!”
Ella accepted the well-closed cake box that Sellonia offered.
“Please, only to the carriage.”
Still dizzy, Sellonia spoke with difficulty and leaned her head against Tan’s chest.
The healing light wasn’t something that could be used indefinitely.
That’s why she couldn’t heal herself when she was healing the male leads during the subjugation, because she had used up all her energy.
Even so, she was able to heal three people who were seriously injured at once, yet after healing Emily once, she felt exhausted.
Did she use that much healing magic during the subjugation?
Or maybe she’s been feeling tired a lot lately, so her stamina might be deteriorating and that’s why she’s having such a hard time.
“Just this moment…”
“The carriage. I want to take the carriage.”
Sellonia cut off Tan’s words.
She knew exactly what he was trying to say.
He must have wanted to use his teleportation ability to return to the mansion.
Of course, it would be easier if he did, but there was no way to explain it to Ella. Although her body was tired, it wasn’t enough to kill her, so it was better to just ride the carriage back to the mansion normally.
“Anyway.”
Even in this situation, Tan was displeased with Sellonia’s stubbornness, but he steadily moved his legs.
In case she got dizzy, he held her tightly in his arms and walked carefully and quickly, trying not to shake as much as possible.
Thanks to that, Ella almost ran as she reached the carriage.
Thanks to that, Sellonia, who was able to comfortably get into the carriage, stared at the cake box Ella had placed on the seat next to her.
The carriage moved shaky and the smell that escaped through the gap, even though it was closed tightly, made her feel motion sick, so she had to open the window.
‘There’s something there.’
Although she didn’t know what Grace did to the food, she couldn’t shake off her thoughts about Emily after eating it.
Perhaps Grace did something to the food and the male leads ate it.
‘That’s it. That’s how it was.’
Now she’s starting to get the hang of it.
About why did the male leads’ feelings suddenly change.
