Yu Er Dan stood imposingly and seemed to be surrounded by an air of vigour and strength. With a single glance, one could tell that she was brimming with battle intent.

One could not blame her. Ever since she had received the strength path incomplete inheritance from the inheritance ground, Yu Er Dan had been itching for a chance to test her new strength.

Even though she fought the Starcrow Hounds, she was not satisfied. After all, they were merely beasts in the end. Only by fighting other martial warriors could Yu Er Dan understand how much her strength had grown by.

Yet, throughout all the times that Lu Zheng and the others fought the Changshou Tong Race; her body was being controlled by Lu Zheng's host soul. She had missed out completely on the action.

Seeing the lack of action from the others, Yu Er Dan sneered and charged at a nearby Dong clansman. The Dong clansman was merely at the Acquisition realm and he was stunned by Yu Er Dan's pro-activeness. He was rendered useless by her overwhelming battle intent.

Yu Er Dan thrust her palm and struck the Dong clansman in the chest and without sparing him another glance, she left him.

Nothing surprising occurred. The Dong clansman coughed blood as his ribcage fractured and pierced his heart. He died on the spot without delay.

The rest raised their defences. They could tell that Yu Er Dan would not be distinguishing between friends and foe.

This was going to be a bloody free for all.

Yu Er Dan moved swiftly, completely enthralled by her newfound strength. She struck two more times and the other Dong clansman and Gu clansman fell to her wrath.

"Good" Yu Er Dan stopped, as she flexed her fists. "Now the weaker ones are out of the way"

An Yin shook his head as he turned to face Xiong Ba: "Xiong Ba, you will be my opponent"

Xiong Ba sneered as he regarded the man: "Tch! Do not think I will die easily like that idiot, Gu Ao!"

Yi Tong Qu sighed as he faced Yu Er Dan who was already approaching him: "So it comes down to this"

Cangxiang Zihan stared Immortal Star down as clouds gathered around his body and mist spread outwards from his body.

Lu Zheng leaned against a wall as he watched the carnage unfold before his eyes. Just as he thought he was lucky enough to be spared from the bloodshed, Immortal Star walked towards him with tentative steps.

"Lu Zheng, let us fight!"

"Ah?" Lu Zheng was surprised that Cangxiang Zihan had died so quickly but he understood. Cangxiang Zihan was a cloud path expert and was well versed in defence. However, he had very limited offensive methods. He was poorly matched with a well-rounded opponent like Immortal Star.

"Well then" Lu Zheng unsheathed Mei Luan and channelled his Essence. His body was primed to attack at any moment. "Do not think I'll go easy on you"

"Huff, huff"

Immortal Star struggled to control his breathing as he stared Lu Zheng down. Star cores revolved around him as he prepared for his next attack.

Lu Zheng panted as sweat beads dropped from his cheeks. In his hands was the rank three Immortal Grade sword – Mei Luan.

"You are incredibly strong, Immortal Star" Lu Zheng praised with a chuckle as he brandished the sword.

"Oh please, don't bullshit with me" Immortal Star's anger was aroused as he controlled the star cores to block the Immortal Sword. Star Essence was expended as a starry longbow formed above his head. A purple arrow gentle notched itself on the starry longbow.

"Hmm!" Lu Zheng noticed the purple arrow as it shot towards him with a streak of purple light. "Tch!"

His gaze hardened as bloodline power was expended. The world seemed to slow down as a deep calm came over Lu Zheng.

He already knew Immortal Star's method. Dodging the star arrow was useless. For Immortal Star to use it, it meant that he had already locked onto Lu Zheng's life aura.

He swung Mei Luan but Immortal Star was incredibly unpredictable. He grabbed the Immortal Sword with his bare hands, stopping Lu Zheng from parrying it.

Lu Zheng's gaze glistened as he used his wind path methods: "Eight Layered Thunder Flow!"

Wind coated with thunder pulsed from Lu Zheng's body and spread out in all directions. The star arrow was struck by the first layer of the Eight Layered Thunder Flow and it shook faintly.

The second layer came almost immediately after the first and the star arrow's speed slowed down as it shook like a withered branch. The third and fourth layer struck it and after the fifth layer, it crumbled to the ground like dust.

"This…!" Immortal Star was stunned. The remaining layers of the Eight Layered Thunder Flow crashed into him with full force and he was thrown away from Lu Zheng.

His body shook involuntarily as thunder ravaged his insides. The latter layers of the Eight Layered Thunder Flow were more powerful than the previous ones.

When he stood up, his body was already dishevelled greatly. In contrast, Lu Zheng's robes were relatively neat and his aura was still overwhelming.

This showed the difference between their strengths.
