Chapter 144: You're not trying to pick me up, are you?!
In the following week, Lynn went to class according to his schedule during the day, and at night, after the Malfoy trio had fallen asleep, he left the Slytherin dormitory under the Disillusionment Charm and headed to the Room of Requirement to practice magic. Curse.
When Lynn passed by the wall in front of the Room of Requirement three times in a row and silently said, "I need a place to practice my spells," the Room of Requirement transformed into a training field the size of a basketball court. The training field was filled with a large number of moving and stationary dummies.
Crafted with the magic of Hogwarts Castle itself, these dummies were infinite.
Even if Lynn used his magical sword to cut off the heads of all the dummies in the training field, new dummies would appear in every corner of the empty field within seconds.
During the week of spell practice in the Room of Requirement, Lynn often felt as though he had lost millions of Galleons.
You see, these training dummies not only had stationary targets but also some moving ones, which were comparable in position to Professor Green's targets. These moving targets were a little difficult for Lynn to hit when using his magic to shoot.
If he had known how powerful the training field in the Room of Requirement was, he should have come here two years ago to practice magic spells!
Additionally, Lynn visited the school hospital every day to check on Irina. Under Madame Pomfrey's care, Irina's face was no longer as pale as before, but instead became rosier with each passing day.
So, without further ado, another weekend arrived.
That day, Lynn received good news: Irina had been discharged from the hospital.
Her body no longer recoiled from the touch of others or from sudden movements, and the aftereffects of the Cruciatus Curse had basically disappeared.
To celebrate Irina's recovery and discharge from the hospital, Lynn snuck into Hogsmeade a day earlier and bought dozens of Irina's favorite sweets from Honeydukes.
"Congratulations on your recovery!" Lynn said with a smile as he handed a large bag of sweets to Irina.
Irina took the sweets, surprised, and smiled back at him. "Honeydukes treats?! Awesome! Thanks, Lynn!"
Two weeks in the hospital bed had almost driven her mad. Fortunately, Lynn and Harry had visited her every day, chatting with her and helping her to hold on until now.
Lynn chuckled and said, "How about you take these snacks back to your dorm, and we can slip out for a drink later?"
Irina was stunned and asked, "You're drinking? But Madame Pomfrey said I should eat normally during this period to help with the recovery."
Lynn smiled and said, "It's not alcohol, it's tea. I heard from the older students in Slytherin that Mrs. Puddif's teahouse in Hogsmeade is quite good."
Upon hearing Lynn's words, Irina's hand holding the sweets trembled, and she coughed several times as if choking.
"The teahouse of Mrs. Puddif? Are you talking about the legendary couple's hangout?" Irina looked at Lynn in disbelief. "Lynn, with your bushy eyebrows and big eyes, you don't want to take the opportunity to go out with me, do you?!"
Lynn said helplessly, "Don't make trouble. You know there's only one teahouse in Hogsmeade. What else would you like me to say?"
There were many places to drink in Hogsmeade, but the only teahouse was Mrs. Puddif's. Other places, like the Three Broomsticks and the Pig's Head Bar, primarily sold alcoholic beverages.
After hearing this, Irina thought for a moment and realized that Lynn had a point. She nodded.
Having just fought a Basilisk and spent another two weeks in the campus hospital, it was now good to go out and relax for the day.
If it wasn't a date or anything like that, but just a cup of tea, she was happy with that.
So, Irina returned the sweets Lynn had given her to her dorm, then followed him as they left Hogwarts Castle through the secret passage behind the one-eyed witch statue.
At the other end of the secret passage was the Honeydukes cellar. After leaving Honeydukes, Lynn also bought Irina a rainbow lollipop.
On the way to Mrs. Puddif's teahouse, Irina happily followed Lynn with the lollipop in her mouth.
After walking for about ten minutes, Lynn and Irina found Mrs. Puddif's teahouse at the corner of a street.
This teahouse seemed a bit small and narrow. It was filled with mist, and the entire interior was decorated with garish lace, even the small round tables.
Many of the decorations in the teahouse were quite feminine, but for modern people like Lynn and Irina from the 21st century, it was so embarrassing they felt like they could create a two-bedroom apartment with a living room just by using their feet.
Upon entering the teahouse, Lynn and Irina saw many couples sitting together in this small teahouse, and even some bold couples were kissing passionately and without reservation.
Seeing this scene, Irina's face inexplicably turned red, knowing they were only here to have tea.
"What do you need?"
After Lynn and Irina found a seat in a corner and sat down, Mrs. Puddif approached them and kindly asked.
Lynn looked at the menu on the table. Besides tea, there was also coffee and other drinks.
"I'd like a cappuccino, please," Lynn said politely.
After hearing Lynn's coffee choice, Irina strangely followed suit. "I'll have a cappuccino too, the same as him, thank you!"
Upon hearing Irina's words, Mrs. Puddif suddenly showed an experienced expression. She nodded encouragingly at Irina, then walked toward the kitchen.
At that moment, Irina came back to her senses. After recalling Mrs. Puddif's encouraging look, she couldn't help but blush.
What was she talking about earlier?! If you want a cappuccino, just order a cappuccino. Why add "like him"?!
Seeing Irina embarrassed, Lynn tried to make a joke to break the awkward atmosphere between them. "Irina, do you know why a cappuccino is called a cappuccino?"
Irina was stunned and asked curiously, "Huh? Why?"
Lynn said seriously, "Because Chilo's turban was too small and got stuck, and he couldn't get out, so he called it Kabu Chilo!"
Whistle...
After hearing Lynn's cold joke, Irina felt like she had fallen into an ice cellar. Even when she was locked in a freezer in her past life and couldn't get out, it probably wasn't as cold as it was now.
Irina slumped onto the table and weakly said, "That's great. Don't talk about it next time."
Seeing Irina looking like she was broken, Lynn scratched his head.
