The First Store System

Chapter 1612 Talismans!

Aakesh stepped inside, and a large room welcomed his sight. Like other rooms, the walls were painted with numerous murals detailing different scenes and abilities.

As Aakesh focused on one of them, he suddenly found himself experiencing it personally. In his hand, there was a rectangular piece of paper with runes embedded in it in blood red.

Aakesh channeled his energy to the paper, and the red runes immediately started glowing bright red. The next moment, a river made of blood appeared in the sky and rushed toward the enemy pointed out by Aakesh.

His enemies were a large army of armored men who were slowly rushing toward him. Immediately after he took out the talisman, they had looks of panic on their faces and wanted to back away, but everything happened very quickly.

The blood river immediately descended and engulfed everyone instantly. The next moment, they began to shrink, and soon only their bones were left remaining.

Aakesh returned to the store after that. Being immersed was only possible for him, so he didn't ask the system about it and focused on the large screen placed in the center of the room.

The classification of Talisman was different from other items in the Sacred Dimension. They had a numerical rank rather than a title distinction.

The lowest level of talisman was 1st level, which was related to Divine Transformation, while the highest level was 11th level, which was for Sacred Creator level cultivators.

Since there were four sub-levels in every cultivation level, there was the same distinction for every level of talisman, referring to the specific level of the cultivator.

Aakesh walked to the screen and tapped on it. The next moment, the blank screen lit up with a small rumbling sound.

The first scene that greeted the trio was the scene engraved on the square tip of the key.

After that, the screen was divided into five sections, referring attack, defense, movement, support, and combination. The types were the same as the skills.

In every section, there was a box to check the element of the talisman. Since it had only become available, there was only one element available at a time.

Below the element section, there were four levels, referring to cultivators from Divine Transformation to True God level. With further quests, the store would have higher levels of talismans and different elements.

What a customer needed to do to get the talisman was to first tap on the level of the talisman, then check onto the element box with the element in their mind. They would then press the summon button.

After they would press the button, a talisman related to that element would appear in the respective section, and with it, the ability would also play. It would only be visible to the customer summoning the talisman.

As for the quality of the talisman, there were five grades, starting from inferior, ordinary, great, superior, and ultimate, with inferior being the lowest quality while ultimate being the highest quality.

As for the limits of sale, there was no limit on quality below the superior level for the customer. For the superior grade talisman, a customer could only purchase ten of them in a year, while for the ultimate grade, that number became three per year.

Aakesh decided to test the device, so he walked to the movement section and pressed the fourth level. As for the element, he let it be random and pressed the summoning button.

The next moment, the section lit up brighter in comparison to other sections on the screen, and four seconds later, a talisman appeared on the screen.

It was a star-shaped talisman carved from a crystal. In its center a faint silvery-blue glow was present, and its edges shone with hints of violet and gold. Patterns of constellations were engraved on its surface. There was also a chain there to help the owner wear it like a locket.

There were its details below its appearance. Aakesh immediately recognized the talisman as soon as he saw it, and the details on the screen proved him right.

The talisman was the Astral Step Talisman. It was a space-related talisman that allowed the owner to teleport to a limited distance.

As it was the fourth-level talisman, the jumping distance of the talisman was four thousand miles for the inferior quality, with there being a side effect that the user should have a clear visualization of the area.

As the quality of the talisman grew, the side effects and energy usage became lower. For the ultimate quality, the space jump was 10,000 miles with not even a single side effect, and it cost one higher Sacred stone.

Aakesh then checked some more talismans and left the room.

"Let's go!"

Since there was nothing else to check, Aakesh announced. The next moment, the trio disappeared from the store and appeared in the selection area.

Lily and Khaval walked to their respective training environments, while Aakesh walked to the weapon section after closing all his senses except for the direction.

He picked up a weapon, not knowing what it was, walked to the other side, and chose his usual training environment. The next moment, a large space crack appeared and engulfed him.

Aakesh found himself in the familiar arena with all his senses returning.

'Sword!'

Aakesh thought when he saw the weapon in his hand. He then focused on the blue screen floating in the air.

He chose the usual option, starting from the first round.

A/N: We finally have our seventh product for the store. Now the entire focus would return to store and its customers. Ryan is also going to enter the story, and there is also the threat challenge.

The challenge will be the last phase of the story in the Sacred Dimension. Once Aakesh have solved that, we would be entering the Primordial Dimension, and the way the store sells its products would see a change there.

Thanks to those who are still supporting the book despite irregular updates over the past year.

On 17 December, there will be a small mass release of five chapters.

Please keep reading. I will try to be regular from now on.
