The Dark Matter Sage

Chapter 43: A Plan in Motion

The evening ended quietly. After hours of discussing mind-bending possibilities, the trio fell into their own thoughts. Tony and Jay retired to bed, their minds spinning with the sheer scope of what Roomie had revealed.

Jay drifted off quickly, her hand resting lightly on Tony's chest. Tony, however, stared at the ceiling, trying to process the enormity of their conversation. Could they really create cures, reverse aging, and revolutionize healthcare? His thoughts eventually slowed, and sleep claimed him.

Roomie, however, did not sleep.

Seated in the depths of Tony's consciousness, Roomie pondered their next steps. The potential was limitless, but execution required precision and planning. His first priority: gathering information.

With a subtle pulse of dark energy, Roomie extended his reach into cyberspace, navigating firewalls and encryption like a master craftsman dismantling a clock. It was not an intrusion for malice, he reasoned, but necessity. Protected databases housing genetic research, pharmaceutical trials, and molecular engineering data became open books. Roomie absorbed every byte of information, analyzing and cataloging it.

From his findings, a detailed list began to form:

Genetic Research: Insights into cellular repair, FOXO3A activation, and telomere regeneration.

Biomolecular Engineering: Methods for creating stable, bioavailable compounds.

Economic Models: Distribution strategies for supplements and health technologies.

Resource Requirements: Facilities, raw materials, and—most importantly—money.

Roomie's glowing form pulsed faintly in thought. The most glaring issue was funding. While their abilities made material acquisition theoretically possible, launching a sustainable operation required financial infrastructure.

"A supplement," Roomie mused. "One that bypasses FDA approval by using ingredients already deemed safe yet revolutionary in design."

Roomie refined his thoughts and compiled them into a detailed text file. With a flick of energy, he uploaded the file to Tony's smartphone, embedding it as a note titled: 'Next Steps.'

The Morning Revelation

The next morning, Tony woke early. Jay was still asleep, her hair spread across the pillow like a dark halo. Quietly, he slipped out of bed, dressed, and grabbed his phone to check his schedule for the day.

A new notification caught his attention.

"'Next Steps'?" Tony murmured, opening the note.

The text was extensive, outlining everything Roomie had compiled overnight. Each section was meticulously labeled, from research findings to the proposed supplement idea. Tony scanned the section labeled "Immediate Action."

Immediate Action Steps:

Mastery of Molecular Manipulation: Begin practicing atomic and molecular construction. Start with simple compounds and progress toward complex supplements.

Testing and Validation: Create a small, controlled batch of the supplement for personal evaluation.

Scalable Production Plan: Identify safe and accessible raw materials.

Launch Strategy: Establish a simple, marketable product with an affordable price point.

Tony let out a low whistle. "You've been busy."

Roomie's voice responded in his mind, calm and measured. "I require very little rest. This plan ensures our progress while minimizing external complications. However, the next steps will require your active participation."

Tony leaned against the counter, taking a sip of water. "Alright. Where do we start?"

"The foundation lies in molecular manipulation," Roomie explained. "You must first understand the structure of atoms and how they combine to form molecules. Dark energy will allow you to guide these elements, but it requires precision."

Tony raised an eyebrow. "Sounds... delicate."

"It is," Roomie confirmed. "Without proper control, you could destabilize compounds, which might result in unintended reactions—potentially dangerous ones."

"Great," Tony muttered, rolling his eyes. "So, I'm basically playing with cosmic fire?"

"A poetic but accurate analogy," Roomie said. "We will begin with simple molecules, such as water (H₂O) and glucose (C₆H₁₂O₆), before advancing to more complex compounds required for the supplement."

Tony set the phone down, his fingers tapping the countertop as he processed the information. "Alright, I'm in. But let's take this slow. I don't want to accidentally blow up my apartment."

"Wise," Roomie replied. "We will proceed with caution. I will guide you every step of the way."

As Tony went about his deliveries that day, Roomie continued to coach him in the basics of molecular structure. From balancing electrons to forming covalent bonds, the lessons were both fascinating and mentally exhausting.

"Alright, Professor," Tony joked during a break. "What's the first thing I'm making?"

"Water," Roomie replied simply. "The simplest molecule to construct yet vital for all life. If you can master water, the rest will follow."

Tony laughed. "Alright. Let's make some H₂O."

"Later," Roomie said, his tone cautionary. "For now, visualize the structure. Two hydrogen atoms bonded to one oxygen atom. Picture the molecular geometry, the angles, the balance of energy. Practice seeing it in your mind before attempting to create it."

Tony nodded, taking a mental note. "Got it. Start small, don't blow anything up."

"Precisely," Roomie replied, his tone tinged with amusement.

That evening, Tony shared Roomie's plan with Jay as they relaxed on the couch. Her eyes widened as he described molecular manipulation and the steps toward creating a marketable supplement.

"That's... wild," Jay said, shaking her head. "So you're going to start by making water?"

Tony grinned. "Apparently, water's the gateway drug for molecular geniuses."

Jay laughed, nudging his arm. "Just don't flood the place, okay?"

"Roomie won't let me," Tony assured her. "He's got it all mapped out."

Jay's expression turned thoughtful. "And the supplement idea... you really think it'll work?"

Tony nodded. "Yeah. It's a good first step. We need cash if we're going to make any of those bigger ideas happen."

Jay smiled, her confidence in him growing. "You've got this, Tony. Just... don't forget about me when you're out there playing scientist-slash-superhero."

Tony pulled her closer, planting a kiss on her forehead. "You're part of this, Jay. Always."
