Chapter Eight: Kyle - Persecution Paranoia? Does Not Exist

Hagrid had taught many classes of freshmen. Most of them were curious about Hogwarts, their faces filled with excitement. The few timid ones remained silent. However, witnessing such widespread crying was a first for him. His head buzzed with the noise.

"Oh, I think you misunderstood me, I'm not a giant... I'm a mixed race..." Hagrid patiently explained, even though he didn't want to admit it. His voice was naturally loud, and his physique couldn't be ignored.

"Wow, a half-blood giant, that's terrifying," one student exclaimed. "I don't want to participate in the sorting ceremony! I want to go home!" When they said this, the crying intensified. Hagrid was baffled.

Meanwhile, Kyle got off the train, carrying a messenger bag enhanced with the "Untraceless Stretch" charm, holding part of his belongings. Hogwarts housed the greatest white wizard of the century, making it very safe. Thus, compared to his time in Knockturn Alley, Kyle brought fewer items: some poisons, self-made hidden weapons, magic props, and various guns and ammunition from the Muggle world, including pistols, rifles, machine guns, grenades, bazookas, and a small nuclear bomb.

Kyle wasn't someone who had a sense of crisis. What is persecution paranoia... nonexistent! He didn't over-prepare, yet he could equip half a regiment with what he had. This brought a little excitement to Kyle's face, and he even whistled softly, recalling his time on the train. He had already stored more than a hundred treasure chests in the system. Most were bronze to silver, with the only diamond chest claimed by Malfoy. Hogwarts truly seemed like a treasure trove.

There was an old saying from his previous life: "In a household that does good deeds, there will be more celebrations. People act, and the sky watches. If you remain kind your whole life, blessings will follow." As long as Kyle maintained his kindness, he was confident more treasure chests would come.

"Okay, whatever you think, come with me," Hagrid finally spoke up, muttering to himself.

"Freshmen need to go to Hogwarts by boat." A group of weak and helpless little wizards, trembling, followed Hagrid. They boarded the boats in groups of four, and Kyle joined them. He didn't see his trio of friends; perhaps they were discussing with Neville on another boat how to save themselves. On his boat, there were three people he hadn't met before.

"Everyone, keep your heads down," Hagrid instructed when they approached a cliff. When they heard this, everyone lowered their heads, except for Kyle, who remained sitting upright.

Looking up, there is at least a meter of space above. Look at those little wizards who can't wait to put their bodies on the boat. Do they have any misunderstanding about their height?

Passing through the cliff hole, you come to a place similar to a pier below the castle. A witch with a serious expression and a green robe is already waiting on the shore. It is Professor McGonagall. "Hagrid, is everything going well?" Professor McGonagall catches sight of the big Hagrid on the forward ship.

"Should... be kind?" Hagrid gets up from the boat and walks ashore. Should? Still? Smoothly? Professor McGonagall is taken aback by the answer. Turning her head to look at the little wizards who just entered school, it was too dark on the river just now. Now that everyone has gone ashore, Professor McGonagall finds out. Good guy! Everyone is full of snot and tears. The snot is cold, and the tears are flowing. Most are still sobbing quietly.

"Okay, children, welcome to Hogwarts. Before entering the school, we need a sorting ceremony," Professor McGonagall takes a deep breath and begins to talk about the opening remarks once a year. Speaking of the sorting ceremony...

"Wow, I don't want to participate in the branch assessment!" "It's a witch. In fairy tales, old witches can trick children away." "I want to go home." At this moment, Professor McGonagall finally understands why Hagrid said it went well. How did this go so well?

Taking a stern look around, he sees the relaxed faces in the crowd at the last glance. Even Kyle, who is still whistling. Just now, three bronze and two silver treasure chests burst out. It took half a day to catch up with him working in Knockturn Alley for half a year. Kyle was being reserved for not singing a good day on the spot. He accidentally catches Professor McGonagall's stern gaze. The four eyes meet, feeling the questioning, condemnation, and criticism in the other person's eyes. Kyle thinks he should do something! After all, he is also a member of Hogwarts!

"Don't cry anymore! Since your parents sent you to school, it means they don't want you anymore. Let's think about how to participate in the branch examination for a while!" There is a three-second silence at the sound of Kyle's voice. Then, the decibels triple all of a sudden!

[Ding! Anger detected!]

[Ding! The treasure chest is being extracted for the host!]

[Ding! Congratulations to the host for getting a diamond treasure chest!]

A diamond chest that only Kyle can see, shining like a diamond, emerges from Professor McGonagall.
