The Curse of Time (Harry Potter Fanfic)

Chapter 75: The doubtful date part2

After the meal, we went shopping. Everything in the windows was beautiful and looked chic, but when I looked at the prices, even though I didn't know the currency, I could tell it was cheap.

"How can it not be expensive when their appearance would be worth hundreds of Galleons?"

"It's true that a long time ago it would have cost as much as a castle, but we've evolved enough not to be slaves to material wealth. Thanks to Greed, stores can't rip off customers or raise prices beyond market value."

I don't know who Greed is, but they must be part of her family too. I think she's used to me asking questions that seem like common knowledge to everyone else here.

"Hey, look at that—it's the Orange Roses."

A troop composed of different races but all female was riding what I believe to be a lizard, dragon, or horse.

I really have no idea—I feel like I'm in another world.

You're right

Their armor was orange, and on their capes was a beautifully drawn rose, also orange.

Everyone passing by stopped to greet them as if they were heroines.

Marie grabbed my head and forced me to bow.

"Thank you for everything you do for us."

Turning my head to Marie, I could see admiration in her eyes toward them.

"Since you seem amnesiac let me remind you, roses are an order of female chavalière at the time when the male sex was not all femboy. There were several sections, each named after a color, like the Red Roses, Pink Roses, Orange Roses, and others. The captains of the different sections are named after their respective colors, such as Rose Rouge or Orange Rose, hence the name of their squadron. There's also the Black Rose, who is the supreme leader of the order. All the captains of the different sections are part of the Black Roses in addition to leading their own groups."

It's a bit confusing, but I think I got the gist. It's still a little strange that the captain of, for example, the Orange Rose squad carries the title of the entire section.

After the Orange Roses left, we headed to the amusement park, and it was strange.

I felt like I was in a fantastical world, but at the same time, in a science-fiction one. They had ancient architectural styles, but their technology was far more advanced.

It's strange—I feel like I don't belong here, yet at the same time, like I do.

Remember who you are.

In the end, we rode the mythical Lovers' Ferris Wheel, which rises up to 2 km high.

The view of the city was simply breathtaking, and the strangest part was that I couldn't even see the city's limits. The only thing visible in the distance was an imposing castle floating in the sky.

I glanced at Marie, who had a mischievous look as if she wanted to devour me, so I hit her with a karate chop on her head.

"But why did you hit me? You know, it's also one of the most perverse spots other than the Red Castle. This booth has probably seen millions of couples engaging in intimate activities, so why not do it when others have already done it?"

"Just because we're not old enough yet to do so you calm down your exitation and wait until at least we're married."

She made a face as our cabin went down and we continued our date in silence.

Wake up before it's too late.
