Chapter 570: Chapter 569: Conversation
Hill watched as Charles led his group of ninjas away, turning her gaze to the striking woman before her.
Although she appeared calm on the surface, Hill's mind was racing. If she had heard correctly, Charles had referred to this woman as the Fifth Mizukage.
As a high-ranking S.H.I.E.L.D. officer, Hill had read all available information on ninjas, except for the classified data that Nick Fury had locked away, which included the theory that ninjas were extraterrestrials.
The leader of Kirigakure was called the Mizukage, which meant this woman was the village's leader.
Hill observed Haku supporting the unconscious Ao and promptly spoke, "Lady Mizukage, it seems your companion needs medical attention. We can offer assistance and a place to rest."
Mei Terumi looked at Hill and nodded, "Alright, thank you. We do need a place to stay temporarily."
S.H.I.E.L.D. quickly arranged for a Quinjet to transport Mei, Haku, and Ao to a secure base in New York City.

Meanwhile, on a nameless island in the Atlantic Ocean-
Deidara was excited to see Hidan and Itachi. It had been Itachi who had invited him to join the Akatsuki. Deidara had thought he would never see them again after coming to this world, but now they were reunited so soon.
"Itachi, are there other Akatsuki members that Lord Charles brought to this world?" Deidara asked.
Itachi, with his usual calm demeanor, replied, "For now, it's just us three. But it's possible that more members might be brought here by Lord Charles in the future."
Deidara immediately thought of their leader, the man who called himself a god. If even their leader could be brought here, how powerful must Charles be?
Hidan, on the other hand, missed his old partner, Kakuzu. While he found working with Itachi pleasant, he preferred Kakuzu, who could stitch his body back together.
"It seems we might have a chance to reunite with the Akatsuki in this new world soon," Hidan mused.
Deidara turned to Itachi, "Itachi, what's our next mission? I've only been in this world for a short time and still have a lot to learn."
Itachi responded, "Come with me. We have prepared a lot of information for you. Our task is to find mystical objects in this world for Lord Charles."
…
In a secret S.H.I.E.L.D. base in New York-
Mei Terumi faced Nick Fury, the one-eyed man who introduced himself.
"Fifth Mizukage, Mei Terumi, I am Nick Fury, the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Hill must have briefed you on our organization's role."
Mei nodded, glancing around the room. She smiled, "I didn't expect there to be other inhabited planets outside the ninja world. It seems your technological development is quite impressive."
Nick Fury acknowledged her words with a nod.
Nick Fury responded, "The universe contains many life-bearing planets beyond just Earth and the ninja world, each with its own unique focus and civilization."
Meanwhile, Hill was internally shocked.
Listening to the Director's conversation with the Mizukage, she realized for the first time that ninjas were not from Earth. This revelation led her to wonder if Charles Doyle was also an alien and just how many extraterrestrial civilizations existed.
Mei Terumi smiled, "It seems, Director Fury, that you are quite knowledgeable about the various life-bearing planets in the universe?"
"Just a bit," Fury replied. "May I ask, what brings you to Earth, Lady Mizukage?"
"So this place is called Earth. My subordinates and I ended up here while tracking Deidara. We triggered a teleportation array during the pursuit."
"I must say, I didn't expect to find so many ninjas here," Mei continued, a hint of surprise in her voice.
Nick Fury pondered this information: another case of unintended arrival through a teleportation array. "Do you know if it's possible to locate that array to return to the ninja world?" he asked.
Mei shook her head regretfully, "Deidara destroyed it."
Fury was momentarily taken aback. "That's quite unfortunate," he said.
"But don't worry, Lady Mizukage," Fury continued. "The Hidden Leaf, Hidden Sand, and Sound Ninja Villages are all here, and they likely have their own means of teleportation. You could use their methods to return to the ninja world."
Mei's smile turned sly. "I didn't expect three villages to have arrived here before us. No wonder the ninja world has felt different these past two years."
"Do you have information on the ninjas from these villages who have come to this world?" Mei asked. "I would like to review it."
Nick Fury did not refuse her request. He handed over a tablet containing all the ninja profiles that S.H.I.E.L.D. had compiled.
Mei took the tablet and began reviewing the information, pausing for a couple of extra seconds when she came across the profile of Kimimaro from the Sound Village.
"It seems the Hidden Leaf has been preparing for a long time, sending many ninjas here. The other villages are not as much of a concern," Mei observed.
She then turned to Fury, "Since I'm now in this world, I need a place to serve as a base for the Hidden Mist Village. What would it take to secure such a location?"
Mei decided it would be simpler to use S.H.I.E.L.D.'s resources rather than finding a base on her own. Any location she found on her own would likely be known to S.H.I.E.L.D. anyway, so she might as well have them handle it.
Regarding surveillance, Mei wasn't worried. Once Ao recovers, his Byakugan could easily detect any monitoring devices, rendering them useless.
Nick Fury was pleased with her request. He immediately replied, "We can provide you with a location. In exchange, could we receive some of your body-enhancement serums?"
"Body-enhancement serums?" Mei echoed.
"Yes, the ones used by ninja students before they begin their training," Fury clarified.
Mei shook her head regretfully, "I'm afraid I don't carry those with me. They are for our ninja students, and I don't have a habit of keeping them on hand."
Fury nodded, understanding the situation but visibly disappointed.
