The Architect, World Creator

Chapter 6: The Mortal Ladder

It twirled within the air, spinniny, ducking and diving through the clouds. With a human body, everything seemed much more magnificent than it had once been.

Perhaps due to the weakening of the rudimentary senses, or perhaps just because of the fun shape humans took on.

It, or He, or better yet, The Architect.

The very first title it had proclaimed for itself in all existing iterations!

It liked the name, something more meaningful than just God.

It was not just a god! It was a creator! A designer! God was so trivial! Architect induced more wonder! What was this Architect, how strong was it? How old? How smart? When coupled together with the fact that the Architect was also God, the one true creator… Then that's where the wonder, worship, and fanaticism would really begin!

This Architect had used it's rudimentary senses to observe the two human primordials. It's male human form resided in the trees for some moments, observing as Ibrahim interacted with the Power Network.

Ibrahim was accompanied by Asera, the first human woman.

Humanity in itself was dependent on sexual reproduction at its core. Through this process, emotional connections would erupt. Two would be brought together, and through two would come three, and then four, and then five, and then six.

At the purity and perfection that he had sculpted, the Architect had no fear for human degenration. The inbreeding of these humans would not create deformed creatures. That was only privy to the low rung humans, the diluted weaklings that did not have the same purity as these two.

The Architect had moved beyond the observation of Ibrahim and Asera, tumbling down towards the ground as he let himself fall, unassisted by his infinite amount of magicules.

BOOM!

The lands quaked, the Architect's skin and bone having been burnt off and exploded out of existence upon impact with the ground.

He groaned in pain, his still existing bones moving. His bony hand clawed at the ridge of the small crater, pulling himself out of the mess he had created.

The disgusting visage of a skeleton growing strands of muscle and meat was displayed to the world.

There was no sound until a large chunk of flesh had returned to the skeleton's neck, in which loud sounds followed.

"KIAHAHA! SO FASCINATING!" The Architect screamed, forcing himself to his feet as his body regenerated from mere bone.

He leapt forward, having reformed fully. He sprinted, at thebfull speed that his body allowed.

Then, he burned magicules, boosting his speed to a whole 'nother level.

Zooming through the plains, weaving around animals and all obstructions, thr Architect continued to fuel himself.

His eyes squinted in excitement as he did so.

"Most of these creatures have a value of one… The highest I've seen so far was a three…" He muttered.

"I wonder!" A small burst of energy resounded within the Architect, a hovering square appearing within his vision as he ran.

-{Power Sheet}-

[Name]: (N/A) |

____

*[Evaluation]: Oh good god! Literally! The physical vessel of the highest, the Architect! With a detected magicule count of [111] and rising, this body's Power Value has been pushed to [9], breaching the reaches of the first level of the mortal ladder, and stepping into the second! Of course, this is only a vessel, the Architect's true power cannot he quanitified, and the Network is only able to detect what is being currently output…

____

He smiled, coming to a stop.

"Then let us see! Why not!" The Architect widened his base, balling his fists.

"Hmph!" He grunted, forcing his energy out into the world. He seemed to be powering up, like fated creatures from futures far gone.

-[Magicule Count]: 1,081 |

He noted.

-[Magicule Count]: 12,998 |

His smile grew slightly larger.

He noted all the changes in the power sheet in real time, slowly calming his exertion of energy.

Then his magicule count came to a rolling stop.

-[Magicule Count]: 99,999 |

Then, he observed it in it's full.

____

*[Evaluation]: A vessel standing at the absolute peak of the Mortal Ladder! Even beyond what could have ever been predicted! Having such a high magicule count, even though this vessel hasn't tapped into any higher power source, it is able to wield strentgh equivalent to the lowest level of the Astral Ladder.

____

"Mhm…" The Architect hummed, nodded in affirmation.

As the creator, he very well knew the rankings he had formulated.

The Mortal Ladder could not be breached unless a stronger energy was tapped into.

Code Essence!

Or perhaps other undiscovered powerful energies.

But the main idea was to have those at the peak of mortality, search for the grandeur of the Codes!

Only then could they step further on the path, entering the 8th level and becoming Astral creatures capable of existing on the same level as planets and stars.

Just by exerting some of his magic, the Architect was able to take this human body into that same level! Without even having to rely on any Codes!

It was interesting, and rather inspiring to he.

"I can't wait to see something replicate this!" He exclaimed, happily envisioning the future.

Days passed, turning into weeks, and those weeks into months.

A man trekked through the forest, wearing cloth weaved together from plants, metal armaments sculpted with his latent energies, and even hybrid weapons, built from both plant and metal.

The dark skinned man bent down, stabbing his spear into the small stream, poking straight through a wild fish.

His short brown hair swayed lightly in the wind.

His golden eyes glared at the wriggling life form, a calm indifference in his eyes. This man, was the Forefather Ibrahim…

"Ibrahim. The Dragonar are acting up once more." A feminine voice sounded from his right, making him glance over.

His wife, the Matriarch of Humanity.

She was adorned in similar cloths, metal jewelry adorned all over her as it was on Ibrahim. She had a staff equipped to her back, and her long hair hung freely, on the side of her face.

Asera, that was her name.

In the passing 11 months since their creation, the two humans had birthed twin children, two boys.

In that same time span, they had amassed a small reputation in the forest they resided, cultivating the energies of their soul, and the world, slowly increasing their magicule count.

Ibrahim had stelled into the second level of the Mortal Ladder, nearing the third.

Asera was but at the bottom of the second level, having just recently advanced.

It was nearing one year since their creation, and they had not been graced with the appearance of the architect any more.

"We inch closer to your destined future everyday, Great Architect…. Time it will take, but I can guarantee my sucess…"
