The Ape From Space

(Piccolo-POV)

It was the next day, Piccolo was up on the lookout still, with Dende. Mr. Popo was gathering the dragon balls, in order to wish back the Namekian's except for Nail. Though there was a time for that later, Dende mentioned that last night was a font of bouts down on the earth, first Tien and Dabura, then Dabura, Mira and Kron… Kron came back much stronger, according to Dende and his own senses, the 'battle' between the two demons and Kron ended with ease. Then there was the last fight, this one had Piccolo surprised. The unknown warrior, aglow in light… well, whoever it was, Piccolo would get more from Kron when he sees him again.

Piccolo turned, spotting Mr. Popo arriving, seven dragon balls floating behind him, he jumped off his magic carpet and headed inside the main throne room of the lookout.

"Dende, I need information. I'll be going to acquire it directly from the source, you remember the wishes I take it." Piccolo glanced towards Dende, seeing the younger Namekian nod. Dende proceeded to walk towards the throne room of the lookout and retrieve the dragon balls from Mr. Popo, he half turned while glancing Piccolo's way.

"Yeah, the first wish is to revive the Namekian's here on this planet. The second is to wish their planet back. Will save the third one for a rainy day, right Piccolo." Piccolo nodded and jumped off the lookout, gliding downwards and he flew towards Capsule Corp, west city. Piccolo blasted towards West city, picking up all sorts of readings, that of Kron, his woman, and his horde of Saiyan brats. Piccolo smirked, them brats… a few of them reminded him of Gohan, Achilles, Anthony and Trunks had been taught how to control their Oozeru transformations, not to the extent that they could talk within those great ape forms, Ursula and Wylla had unique-looking Oozeru forms come to think of it… Ursula was a unique black while Wylla was an pure white great ape. Piccolo landed on top of Capsule Corp, he then jumped down on one of the balconies, he then proceeded to knock on the glass window paneling, a slide door opened a second later, as a disheveled Pyrrha blinked at him,

"... Pyrrha, is your husband in, I need to speak with him. He-" Pyrrha groaned, yawning and interrupted him with a wave of her hand, urging him to come inside, to which he done so. She headed back to bed, Piccolo felt uncomfortable, but he heard that the shower was running, he also sensed that that is where Kron is located, he begrudgingly walked towards the rooms walk-in bathroom and growled, knocking on the door and then entering after, closing it after him.

"Kron, you've returned from the Kai's… you've been gone a while, care to explain to me why you came from space. As well as that fighter you killed. I take it your increase in power is the work of the Supreme Kai, your jump in strength… I felt it last night." Kron was still showering; his voice could be heard over the glass panel walls of the shower.

"Yeah, I was bid to head out into space by the former Supreme Kai, call him Old Kai… He finished with the same ritual that he worked upon Gohan; he then told me to test out my full power out somewhere on an unknown planet. I did so, ran into some old friends… Recoome among them- I forgot I spared him… and then the god of darkness attacked. Wait up for a minute, I'll get out and explain that further." Piccolo listened intently, then groaned in annoyance, he wanted to know what they were up against.

Piccolo waited for Kron on the balcony, he heard the glass paneling door open and then shut as Kron walked over to him, leaning against that same balcony. Kron then proceeded to tell Piccolo about the battle on one of Freiza's planets, a battle in which the god of darkness fought him through Recoome of all people, that of the Ginyu force and then the climactic battle that seen an entire planet destroyed in the battle.

Then Kron explained his battles here on Earth, first against Mira and Dabura and then, he begun to explain about the last opponent he fought and dismantled with ease. Piccolo listened as Kron explained about the opponent he fought, in particular, what he looked like and confirmed that this was one of these so-called gods, the one of light in particular.

"-I believe I am their target and that the well, darkness at the very least, needs a host to use his full power, he took control of Recoome's body and Recoome deteriorated rapidly, he insisted that I should 'take him in', allow him to control me. Naturally, I declined his 'request' and tested out my new power. You remember Broly, right Piccolo?" Piccolo hummed, of course he did. That lunatic Saiyan, who they faced years back. Piccolo replied, trying to get Kron to speak faster.

"Hmm, yeah, I remember that guy, what about him." Kron explained further, Piccolo glanced down towards the grass, as Kron explained further.

"Well, I'm well and truly a mutant, you are looking at the newest line of the legendary Super Saiyan's. And I've transformed fully to test my mental capacity, and I can safely say… I'm still sane eh, ish. Oh… Vegeta's going to be pissed. I can't wait to see it." Kron cackled loudly, Pyrrha from within the room was heard yelling at him to keep it down, as Piccolo could easily hear her. Piccolo then figured it was a good time now to steer this conversation to informing Kron of the Namekian home worlds destruction and the deaths of his people.

"Kron… it has been confirmed by King Kai, the planet Namek has been destroyed, the Namakian's were attacked by the two brothers. Now, Shin also inspected the area where planet Namek was located and also confirmed that it was these two brother gods. Now, with the one you've dealt with, that means we now have one more of them to hunt down- killing the Namekian's have made this personal!" Piccolo growled out, he flinched when Pyrrha once again yelled towards the two of them to keep it down, Kron chuckled quietly, replying.

"It's funny, seeing you flush Piccolo. Heh. Sorry about Pyrrha, she… had a big night, bigger day keeping up with the kids as well. Well, let me know if I can be help. Also, feel free to come train with my family. I'm going to begin training my kids, what with Trunks and Jaina having 'Super Saiyan', I might as well try to get the rest of them all super and all that… they are my pride after all. Well, I've got to get back inside. I'm damn near starving!" Kron chuckled, Piccolo huffed and then used 'Instant Transmission', arriving at Goku's.

"Ah, your already up Goku." Piccolo glimpsed through the curtains, seeing Goku, Gohan and Goten stuffing their faces, Piccolo chuckled.

(Darkness-POV)

Deep in space, he felt as the energy that he absorbed from the fool Recoome was now his own, he felt stabilized fully now from the battle with the Reincarnate, as he felt the hold he and his brother had on the universe weaken. Or rather, their illusion veil they set up, to hide their activities within this universe, when they first inserted their pocket dimension within this more diverse and older world.

'With him dead… our bond will ensure that whatever remains of his essence will find its way to me, I will then absorb the remnants and continue on with the plan… but I will need to find another host… without one, we are liable to being destroyed, and his death proves it I bet. The fool, he should have not gone against him without taking a host first, even a meager, weak host would have guaranteed his survival… like I've proved.' his energy regained plus everything he assimilated from Recoome added to his own, that guy wasn't that strong, but the soul is also a strong font of power from him to regain energy.

Darkness's energy converged into a small pocket deep in space, the remnants of the planet, asteroids flew all around him, while his essence formed from a sphere of pure darkness into that of his humanoid form, the eerie glow illuminating the deep coldness of space with a sickening purple glow. Folding his arms, he needed to gather more energy, the dragon balls of earth were out of the cards now… but perhaps…

'What? Am I blind, there is other ways to gather power, and with Earth out of my options, there is another area I should have no problem infiltrating…'he then brought out the soul of Recoome, which was his 'ticket', Darkness then swirled with his own energy, swirling out of a corporeal form and right into the soul of Recoome, the soul was then snapped up, now awaiting judgment, for this universes jailer.

'Reccome', that is, his soul form floated in a line among a vast number of others… while more and more souls continued to appear, being led around by differently colored, unique horned humanoid beings, the building in front was a long while off.

"Next! Keep the line going you- hey, no cutting in line 5,054th soul- yeah you!" the soul of 'Recoome' continued to hover in line, the fast way to wait for this to all play out would be to await until he or 'the host' soul was judged instead. Darkness decided to rest, while keeping his energy heavily contained… though he expected that he was not one hundred percent hidden, the was a massive chance that the god doing the judging would send him to the hell of this world.

Until he found himself somewhere else, he needed to keep his presence hidden from all, this was another realm unknown to him and being found it before he isn't ready could be a problem for his plans…

(Raditz-POV)

Arriving at Kakarot's place, he seen that Piccolo was also here, Gohan and the brat Goten also dressed for training. Raditz himself had left Launch at the Kame house, before coming straight for his brother's place, his blood boiling for another grand battle, a bout that would easily grant him more power, though the getting beaten by his nephew ticked him off a bit-

"-Ah! Raditz is here then. Gohan is coming too, though he will be half as strong, he's sent a clone to high school today, like he planned to. Goten is going to come watch; I want to train him after today's fights. Raditz, I hope you've eaten a fair amount for today, we're going to be burning it off today after all." Piccolo spoke as Kakarot finished, turning to them all, Piccolo created a clone right in front of them, exertion on his mug while the clone vanished from the area, via that 'Instant Transmission' technique.

"I've sent a clone, to tell the others of what happened last night- Raditz, you too should hear of this, as we're now down one enemy that we need to track down. Kron has returned from the supreme Kai's realm; he's gotten much stronger than even Gohan's increase… He also fought and destroyed one of our new enemies, that of the so-called God of light." Raditz could only stare in disbelief. How much stronger has that guy gotten?

Raditz would figure it out later, for now, hearing Piccolo out and then, their training would keep his mind off of that-

"-Now, we keep an eye out for the last one, then the earth can be at peace… until another big bad rears its ugly head. So, keep an eye out alright, get into touch with Dende straight away, being the guardian, he can warn everyone else, so that we can all converge onto this last unknown god." Raditz, irritated as he wanted to begin the bouts this instant, he didn't have time to just stand around and talk-

"-Right then, we will go meet up with the others, Zangya… Trunks should be at the location we trained yesterday if they are joining us. Alright, come here Goten… Gohan, Raditz, grab on and hold on tight…. hmm… got Trunks and Zangya are coming." The teleporting was over fast, they appeared in the scorched, crater-filled landscape that was the battlefield yesterday. Goku headed over to Trunks, the lad stood with Zangya, enjoying a canned soda of their choice.

"Hey guys, so, you all showed up after all. Ready to start? Don't mind but Goten will be nearby, watching. He could stand to learn some moves and fighting styles Gohan! Will go up against you then, do not hold back! Even with a clone, I know your strong enough for it." Gohan nodded, as Goten jumped nearby to a safe distance, where Kakarot pointed out to him. Gohan, dressed in his Gi, similar in appearance to what Piccolo wears, minus the cape and turban, he tightened his belt, he yelled out with a smile, looking at them all while everyone gathered into a position around Gohan in the center.

"Alright everyone, you should know, come at me with everything you've got, or this will be a short fight. Not to boast or anything but, I've got a date later after school and I need to get ready for it in a few hours so… don't expect me to hold back!" Gohan bent slightly as to pull his power to the forefront, the planet begun shuddering and in turn, Zangya, Trunks and Goku all done so too. Raditz huffed, immediately powering up too, Kakarot charged forwards and engaged his eldest son in hand-to-hand combat, Gohan then reflected a melee blow coming from Zangya who appeared in a flicker near to him.

Trunks dived downwards, a yellow colored Ki blast while Gohan exploded in a sudden, burst of energy emerged from within him and expanded in a sphere, blowing Trunks back up, Kakarot to the side while Zangya reacted with a cyan-colored blast of her own, the blast met with the shield but Gohan already flickered, hammering down upon Raditz with two fists held together.

"Gah! 'Vacation Delete'" Raditz yelled out, thrusting his fist holding overflowing energy towards Gohan, who flickered out of the way as the bright flash of his technique exploded nearby. Zangya and Trunks flickered multiple times in quick succession, they worked in tandem, Gohan able to match their blows with relative speed, matching their own. Goku exploded in a burst of energy, raising to what he called 'Super Saiyan Three', now they had the same sized hair which Raditz could only blink in surprise, it was like looking in the mirror, minus the golden hair color.

Gohan's energy sparked in turn, as energy bolts begun to flicker around him, 'Super Saiyan Two' activated for him and so Raditz and Trunks followed suite. Zangya, the only one not able to transform, actually surprised them all in turn when she begun to reenact the transformation that Bojack had made when he transformed- Raditz remembered that bastard well.

It was premature and ended, instead as she shown with her usual bright, green Ki, instead of the darkened green she was just exhibiting, she nonetheless proved her capabilities as she met Gohan head-to-head.

Everyone with their energies to the max, Gohan in the middle… this match had just begun.

(Vegeta-POV)

He once again headed for Capsule Corp, this time with his wife and two kids. Leaving Raven as she entered inside the large domed building with their kids, Vegeta picked up that of his greatest rival, it seems that Kron is back-

"-Vegeta, there you are, I take it Raven is here too. Good, I can tell you both. Kron has taken out one of the enemies, there is one left to fight." Vegeta nodded, replying quickly, seeing that Piccolo came from out of the sky in a blink.

"Right, is Kron here then? Excellent, I am meaning to fight him once again. Ah… he's inside, with the rest of his brood. Good." Piccolo added, turning to leave, placing two fingers upon his forehead whilst glancing his way.

"I'm off then, Goku and Gohan. Trunks, Raditz and Zangya are already fighting. I will be going to join them in their training then, see you, Vegeta." Piccolo blinked out of existence, Vegeta turned, huffing as he floated upwards and begun to power up. Thinking that would get him out there, Kron came in a flicker, landing on the roof with the right foot first.

"Kron. You've returned. I demand a match, I've been rearing to go, now you've gotten much stronger but so have I. Majin Buu was a disappointment. You have time now. I'll fight you now!" Vegeta grinned, pointing out of the city, to the east as Kron nodded. He Then nodded 'yes' as he replied.

"Come on then Vegeta, I guess everyone is wanting to fight, what with me dealing with that one so called god, there's only one left-"

"-Let's get on with it then Kron! You've gone to acquire more power the same way that Gohan was able to, I want to test that against me, full power to full power." Kron replied, flickering towards Vegeta, getting him to back up as bit, though Kron grinned.

"Alright, though control yourself Vegeta, I have no intention of blowing up the planet during our bout. Come on then, will find somewhere to throw down. But I need to get back by lunch time, I'm taking the kids to the beach-"

"-Right! Follow me, keep up." hovering into the air, the two of them blasted off together, making their way to a non-populated location. Vegeta picked up the others fighting somewhere to the north and also picked up some exerting energy from the area where Tien, Yang and Chiaotzu live together.
