Chapter 331: Michelle (1)
I stood before the full-length mirror in my room and checked my outfit.
The brooch attached to my uniform tie emitted a purple hue symbolizing the final grade.
My body had changed a lot compared to when I was a first-year student. My eyes had matured, and I had grown to 185 cm tall. My physique was decent, and my compact muscles were clearly visible when I took off my clothes. It was a dramatic growth.
When I first became Isaac, I was a delicate pretty boy; now, the term boy no longer suited me, and I had become a complete handsome man.
“All set.”
I made hot coffee, cooled it down by channeling ice mana through it, and drank it in one gulp.
Lastly, I put on the round Ribella’s glasses, grabbed my bag, and left the dorm.
Colorful flowers were everywhere in the academy. Seeing the new buildings and structures even made me feel refreshed.
The sky was blue.
Students in uniforms were chatting and laughing as they went to school.
Suddenly, I saw a janitor using telekinesis to wield a broom, sweeping away fallen petals from high places.
“Hey, look over there.”
“Wow…”
I saw female students stealing glances at me with admiration.
I could read respect, awe, and excitement in their eyes. I was used to these gazes by now.
“Isaac, good morning.”
“Hello. Let’s go.”
At the main gate of the dorm, Luce Eltania greeted me. She had finally learned to use more appropriate and neutral greetings instead of something simplistic like, “Nice weather today, isn’t it?”
A lot had happened between Luce and me, but it seemed we had mutually agreed to carry on as usual without mentioning it.
Since Luce had the strongest possessiveness, I thought she would oppose my harem more than anyone else, but now it seemed she didn’t particularly care about it.
Considering my social status, it would actually seem unnatural not to have a harem.
Perhaps that was why Luce seemed intent on becoming my first woman, even as she allowed other women into the picture.
I don’t know what kind of ending awaits me.
If I were to live with the women I loved, including Luce, I would, of course, shower them with boundless love.
As usual, we headed to class together.
This was the Märchen Academy’s Second Campus.
No faculty members or students opposed the move to the Second Campus.
Even if they had objections, they likely kept them to themselves. The construction of the Second Campus had been initiated due to a series of demon-related incidents.
Who could oppose moving away from the original grounds, where the academy’s good reputation had already been utterly destroyed?
The new location was also excellent. It was near the capital, Viyans. If necessary, Imperial Knights from Viyans could quickly come and protect the academy.
Moreover, the academy had shifted away from its closed-off educational policies and now kept its gates open during the semester. Thanks to this, students could go out freely on weekends.
Of course, many students missed Märchen Academy’s traditional methods, but the current atmosphere dictated that they had no choice but to participate in the pilot operation of the Second Campus.
“We will now begin the entrance ceremony for the New students of Märchen Academy.”
New students neatly lined up in the academy plaza came into view. The entrance ceremony was underway. Luce and I looked toward the plaza.
Among the top scorers in the entrance exam, I saw Priestess Miya and Taryn Bartin, Noah Bartin’s younger sibling. Miya seemed to be the top scorer.
As expected.
It was an obvious result. There was nothing more to see.
I passed through the plaza and headed toward the classroom building. Even on the Second Campus, all buildings were given the same names as those on the First Campus to avoid confusing the students. The place I headed to was the new Orphin Hall.
I arrived at the temporary third-year class, receiving respectful gazes and various greetings from the students.
Starting in the third year, students follow a curriculum tailored to their individual career paths.
Common classes for each group were mandatory, but they were kept to a minimum.
I don’t need to attend them anymore, though.
The benefits I gained from absorbing Ozma’s power weren’t limited to stats.
Knowledge was included as well.
Right now, I possessed an immense amount of knowledge, enough to use 9-star magic.
It’s like getting it for free, really.
By accepting Ozma’s life, I came to understand things I hadn’t prior.
She had wandered through the essence of countless beings over the years, sharing and acquiring vast knowledge.
Even the Primordial Elemental Kings were among them. Perhaps it was because they were Elemental Kings that they were even more drawn to Ozma.
In any case, thanks to that, I acquired all knowledge up to 9-star magic.
Suddenly, I recalled the Primordial Rock Sovereign I had seen in Ozma’s life.
Unlike the Primordial Ice Sovereign who sought truth and ventured to the Icy Lake, the Primordial Rock Sovereign accepted the world he lived in as the truth itself.
His boldness and bravery were deeply etched in my memory.
“Looks like we won’t be attending many classes together anymore.”
While the temporary class professor was announcing the class placement evaluation notice, Luce whispered from the seat next to me.
“Yeah, I guess so.”
“Won’t you feel lonely?”
“I don’t think so. You’re here, and so are the others.”
“Really?”
The advanced magical knowledge I gained by absorbing Ozma’s power was still a thousand years old.
I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to acquire the modern magical expertise of the elite professors.
Of course, there was no merit in attending other classes. So, after discussing it with Headmistress Elena Woodline, I decided to drop all classes except for two practical ones.
Naturally, this wasn’t something that should have been allowed, but due to the special circumstances, we were able to agree on it.
Because I told the Emperor about the Evil God.
As it was about time to reveal it, I told Emperor Carlos when the Evil God was likely to resurrect. He kept the information strictly confidential to prevent public panic and ensure safety.
That was the real reason why everyone at the academy was moved to the Second Campus. To minimize casualties, the island housing the First Campus had to be completely evacuated before the Evil God’s resurrection.
Headmistress Elena also received that information as an exception, so she accommodated my requests.
I planned to devote the personal time I secured to intense training.
Mephisto is the problem.
That was why I stayed at the academy with the people I cherished. Who knew what Mephisto might be plotting?
Currently, many of my subordinates, led by Frost Spirit Merphil, were tracking Mephisto. Even Wonderland was no exception.
However, there was still no news. It was inevitable that the search would take a long time since narrowing down the search area was difficult.
Additionally…
“What are you doing, Luce?”
What is she doing?
Luce was staring at the professor while subtly groping my hand. The secret friction felt oddly sensual.
“Are you seducing me?”
“How shameless…”
Luce’s lips curled into a smile.

I stopped by the magic items shop in the academy’s shopping district. It was my first visit.
From what I had learned before, it was a shop run by a young female owner. Since the Second Campus had recently been completed, all the shops had moved in this time.
Most of them were shops that had originally been located in the academy’s shopping district, but they had recently moved here. They were now in need of employees.
“Welcome… President!”
A woman with light purple hair who had been sweeping the floor with a broom greeted me. She stopped sweeping and gave me a bright smile.
“What brings you here? Came to see Big Sis?”
The sunlight streaming through the window beautifully illuminated her mischievous face.
I had come to see the employee of this shop, Dorothy Heartnova.
“Ugh…!”
How could this happen?
My heart raced uncontrollably, and I clutched my chest, letting out a groan.
Dorothy, dressed in a beautiful witch costume fitting the shop’s concept, delivered a powerful blow to my heart.
She was insanely adorable.
I should have brought a camera. What a painful mistake.
To think I can only keep this feeling in my memory. How truly frustrating and sorrowful.
“Nihihi, your Big Sis’ beauty hit you right in the heart! Am I right?”
“Do you really have to say it so bluntly…?”
Dorothy ran up to me with a bright smile and asked a question. I narrowed my eyes and teasingly retorted. Having my emotions read was nothing out of the ordinary.
She spun around like she was dancing.
“I was saving this to brag about later. Isn’t this uniform super cute? I had it custom-made!”
“Yes, it suits you well.”
“Nihihi.”
“By the way, have any weird guys been hitting on you?”
“Hmm? That kind of thing… I don’t think it’s happened?”
Dorothy avoided my gaze.
“So, it has.”
“What can I do…? My charm isn’t something I can control even if I wanted to!”
Dorothy shrugged her shoulders.
It was true. Dorothy probably had many experiences of being confessed to.
“You fell for me because of that charm too, didn’t you, President?”
“That’s true.”
“You could be a little more embarrassed, you know? You’re not very endearing.”
Dorothy placed her hand on the broom and rested her chin on it. Despite her words, her face was full of a smile that showed how much she adored me.
The reason she ended up working here wasn’t anything remarkable.
The only way to train starlight magic was through meditation, which had its limits when done all day. So, she decided to work here in her free time as a way to balance making a living.
“Gasp…!”
The young female shop owner, who had been carrying a light box of magic tools, noticed me and rushed over, bowing deeply.
“W-welcome! What brings someone as esteemed as the Ice Sovereign to such a humble place…?”
She seemed to hold both respect and fear toward me.
Last year, only news of a new Ice Sovereign appearing had spread across the world. But now, even my name and face were widely known.
Various books chronicled the tales of the Nameless Hero, the Ice Sovereign. Wandering poets praised me in their songs, and even the Empire had officially declared an alliance with me.
Moreover, the Empire showered diplomatic gifts upon Düpfendorf, and my accomplishments elevated its prestige, further solidifying my position.
At this point, it was harder to find someone who didn’t recognize me.
As the subject of the fame, I found it incredibly embarrassing at first, but now I felt indifferent. Humans were, after all, creatures of adaptation.
“II came to buy some parchment for magic circles. About a bundle of 30 sheets.”
I had just come to see Dorothy, but since I was there, it was better to buy something.
“I’ll get it ready right away!”
The shop owner hurriedly brought three neatly arranged rolls of parchment from the shelf.
I paid and looked at Dorothy. I wanted to imprint her beautiful appearance on my retina just a little longer.
She seemed to feel the same, smiling warmly as our eyes met.
“I’ll come again.”
“It’s truly an honor! Thank you so much for visiting!”
The shop owner kept bowing excessively, almost to an absurd degree.
“I should be thanking you, for making such a beautiful uniform.”
“Excuse me?”
The shop owner, seemingly not understanding my words, broke into a nervous sweat and looked puzzled.
I waved at Dorothy, said my farewells, and left the shop.

“This spot should do.”
The sun was setting, painting the sky in a dusky orange hue.
I found an outdoor training ground that didn’t seem like a place people frequented. Beside me stood Ian Fairytale and Amy Holloway.
“As expected, it’s here! Since it’s newly built, it looks way better than the old one!”
“I prefer the old vibe, though.”
Amy was marveling, while Ian grumbled.
I didn’t care either way.
Ian and I stood facing each other at a distance on the training ground, while Amy watched us from the audience seats.
“Ian, since you seem to have improved, we’re stepping it up from now on. Be prepared.”
“Bring it on!” Ian replied energetically as he gripped a practice sword in a fighting stance.
Good spirit.
“Morcan.”
A pale blue summoning circle appeared in front of me, and ice mana coalesced upon it, manifesting a tall ice knight.
Draped in silver armor, he emanated an icy chill, his faintly glowing pale blue eyes piercing the air. He was Morcan, the commander of the Knights of Düpfendorf.
He knelt on one knee to show respect, while Ian swallowed nervously with a tense expression.
“Help train Ian. Raise the difficulty higher than usual.”
[As you command, my lord.]
Morcan responded solemnly, stood up, and looked at Ian.
Their height and physique were vastly different. Morcan grabbed the practice sword I provided with one hand instead of the blade at his waist.
Just as the sparring was about to begin…
“What’s this? There’s no way it’ll be a fair match.”
A girl’s voice echoed.
“…?”
Morcan, Ian, and I turned our heads toward the source of the voice.
Behind Amy, in the audience seats, a girl dressed in an academy uniform and a red cape was resting her chin on her hands, watching the sparring ground.
The red brooch on her uniform ribbon symbolized a first-year student. In other words, she was a new student.
I recognized the girl. Without her hood, her features were clear, golden braided hair and piercing blue eyes.
My jaw dropped. She was someone I hadn’t expected at all.
“You…?”
She had grown significantly since I last saw her, but there was no doubt.
It was Michelle, the red-hooded girl who once called me her prince and bestowed the blessing of the Incarnation upon me.
Ian and Amy alternated their gazes between Michelle and me, their faces filled with curiosity.
“You know her?”
I nodded in response to Ian’s question.
Michelle lightly leapt onto the sparring ground, displaying athleticism that didn’t match her frail frame.
She approached me with a meaningful smile.
“It’s been a while, Big Bro. I came to see you.”
