Chapter 302: Midnight Melody Bloodline

The two didn't even dissolve but they went back to the canvas just in time they expired and became pictures again.

"By this demonstration we know these two were the best!" Greenvein commented.

"Indeed but why is the behavior different from the rest!" Rena finally spoke.

Seth was thoughtful before he said, "Self preservation. Aura contains some part of our essence including our instinct to live. The high compatibility made them react based on their instinct and their ways of living!"

There was silence as everyone was thinking, 'They aren't alive, are they?'

"Choose for me?" Lady Saya stated.

Seth immediately said, "Midnight Melody Leppard is an extremely rare and it advantages are very clear"

Seth remembered that even Blood Warlock doesn't have this bloodline before he met Seth.

"You think!" She seemed not convinced but she quickly said, "I will take it then. But please, let it be cheap."

"Ah, well. I'm sorry, maybe go with Moon Stripe.." Seth shook his head before she asked anything he added.

"It's the most expensive on the list. It's new and rarer than even Pride Bloodline as of now."

She was dejected before she asked, "You say I can pay an installment right?"

"Yes."

"Will you permit even after we escape Gawee!"

"That won't be a problem!" Seth said, they were taken aback by that response.

"Okay, how much?" She asked.

Seth checked and projected it to her alone and she panicked before she glared at him.

The soft smile on his face and his casual demeanor make it hard for people to hate him.

"You chose this because you want big profits?" She demanded.

Seth chuckled, "Who knows."

"I will take it but I can only pay for the infusion now!"

"Good. There won't be any essence like it any time soon!" Seth declared. Truth be told, it was now that he had seen the speciality of the bloodline, and he was selling it to Lady Saya as a means to attract people's attention to him.

That will happen automatically the moment she began to use it abilities and people learned of it, especially GEST and other organizations.

To infuse the bloodline they have to wait for midnight.

When the time came, she was ready. Guided by Rena, Lady Saya entered the sarcophagus and relaxed. The device hummed before Seth slid the vial into a small chamber.

The humming intensified and immediately, Blood Warlock presence descended and everything was under control for one hour and thirty minutes.

After that the sarcophagus lid opened but there was no one inside. "Where is she?" Greenvein shouted in fear.

"Calm down!" Zero said and his voice soothed her tension.

"I can see you with my eyes, you know!" Seth from behind the box chuckled as he said.

Soon enough, a tall woman 1.87 meters stood behind him. Her body had become lithe and agile, her skin was pale dark and if one concentrated they could see through her and notice what was behind her.

"You didn't tell me Blood Warlock would be here!" Her voice seemed to come from her body rather than her mouth. It was strangely terrible but beautiful also.

"You should be sitting and not speaking. You don't know yourself yet to move!" Seth said as he scrutinized her with Preeminence Gaze. She acknowledged that and sat aside with closed eyes.

As Greenvein and the rest observed her they were fascinated by what they were seeing.

Lady Saya was obviously taller and slender with an athletic physique but she came off as frail and weak for some reason.

As she breathed now with her eyes closed, it seemed every breath and motion of her carried a tingling silent sound of its own. But as they stared more, she began to fade away and they lost sight of her.

Only when they looked away did they see her in their peripheral vision which they could captured her visage.

Of course many have some sort of observation skill, so as they locked onto her, they can see that she and the robe she wore were somewhat transparent, they can't see her naked body but they can see behind her.

"Interesting bloodline. This must be Strain 3!" Greenvein asked.

"You guess right. You should maintain your emotions, if possible log out every 2 to 3 hours if there's anything that will mess with your view. Especially, in the night when your bloodline traits were the strongest!"

"What were the true powers of the bloodline?" Greenvein inquired but she remembered Seth won't tell her.

Just as she expected, he kept silent, his focus was on his thread art he made.

With Aura Sight at (S+) rank, Seth was able to distinguish different types of aura from the human body. He already learned that Aura might appear pale sticky white but the aura from the bones, skin, muscles and any other part of the body was different from each other.

As before his eyes levelled up, he couldn't differentiate them. Now he can see it but it wasn't based on colour or temperature but something else.

They were all the same but what defined them was elusive even though his eyes can differentiate them.

It's like seeing twins that look alike, he knows they were different but can't put his finger on it.

His Aura Control and Manipulation will rely on understanding what it's to improve, so also his Arts will rely on it to truly make a breakthrough.

So, Seth resulted in testing himself, he plucked his Skin Aura and made a haphazard painting of himself, with the intent of making only the skin.

But upon infusing the skin aura, he saw that there was an aura of bones and rest of his body, making the paint capable of being animated.

'In each of the bodily aura there are other auras. If used, they all manifest and balance out!"

Seth thought of using Red Signature Book to try and separate using Fusion&Fission. He pulled the book, opened it and was about to proceed when he sensed a gaze from Rena.

He held himself from looking at her eyes to not see what she could see.

But she wasn't the only one that glanced his way but Lady Saya too. Her body stiffened a bit before she relaxed.

Just now her intuition told her to not provoke the owner of the book.

Zero was already observing Seth every movement with Silver Eye Raven; he didn't see a thing which told him the secret he may glean from the Red Tome was very detrimental to him.

The restrictions weren't very high, as his Shadow Eye Drago was already pushing against the safeguard in order to see the secrets of the book.

The desire to do that almost overwhelmed him but his sister's soft touch woke him up.

As Lady Saya made up her mind that Seth wasn't her enemy the danger she felt abetted, in fact she felt 'A cat daring' to take a look and indeed she did that.

Seth only felt Shadow Glare mildly locked on the tall woman behind him and the woman fur before she said, "What a powerful book" there was a playful tone in her voice.

Seth stored the Tome and glare at her that made her giggled and sat back and forced herself to close her eyes again.

The Red Signature Book owner sighed and he brought it back and continued to experiment.

'It's really a loss that I can't ingest bloodline as I would have taken this bloodline at all cost!'

Seth thought. What was apparent regarding the bloodline was only the surface.

'Did I make a mistake giving her the bloodline?' He wondered but that made Lady Saya to gaze toward him again and later closed her eyes again.

'They are extremely sensitive. Well if we are going to escape Gawee we need her!'
Stay connected with empire

That was one of the reasons he sold her the bloodline, the other was for his experiments and also observation.

Try as he may but he couldn't separate other bodily attributes from his skin aura even with Red Signature Book. But he felt he could if he found or grasped the main crucial point. So, they continued to try until the sun rose.

Lady Saya's body became more real than transparent and her complexion that was pale dark was back to normal. The nature and manner she exhibited in the night were gone, now she looked like a huntress Leopard.

"Remember, you are human with the bloodline. The ultimate goal was to digest the power and make it yours. Because if you are not careful you will be controlled by it!"

Seth adviced one more time as he observed her well.

"Okay."

From her pouch she brought out a mesmerizing Golden Necklace and gave it to Seth. "I came across this in an underground prison. This may be enough for the Infusion right!"

[Golden Scale Necklace]

[This necklace was made using the scales of the first Golden Dragon Queen in Gawee. Only true Amma Royalty bloodline can equipped it]
