Chapter 7: Chapter 6 – Lunchtime

Third person POV

Later, at lunch time, Roxas went to the school rooftop with his bento box, which was bought by him yesterday. The reason why is that he wanted to mimic how Japanese students eat lunch. So, upon arriving there, Roxas saw that the school rooftop is like a park, with trees, bushes, and park benches being placed neatly on it.

"No way…this is for real?" his mind said.

But he has to accept it as reality and settled down on a park bench to enjoy his lunch.

His lunch consisted of steamed rice, fried pork tonkatsu from breakfast, and a few slices of cucumber and apple.

His beverage is a bottle of mineral water.

Then, Roxas eat up, tasting the deliciousness of his meal while enjoying the quietness of his surroundings. At this point, he was in his "closed-door" mode of his character, meaning that he wanted some alone time for himself. That "closed-door" mode is a part of his unique personality called open-closed door personality. According to him, that personality type is basically like a door: open for social interaction and closed for solitude. It also has an analogy, which is funnily enough, a door.

And then, while Roxas was eating his meal, Shuto, Minato, and Koyuki came to the rooftop, only to see him having his alone time. They were searching for him and didn't expect that they would find him on the school rooftop.

 "There you are!" Shuto said.

Roxas heard that and shivered a bit due to his current mode, looking at them. "Oh, hey, guys."

His housemates then went to him.

"Dude," Minato said to him, "we had been looking all over for you. We were waiting for you so we could eat together."

"Oh, sorry, guys," replied Roxas back while calming down. "I just wanted some alone time, you know."

"That's why…" Shuto sat next to him, "…you should've told us about that."

But Roxas changed his mind and said to him, "You know what? Let's eat here together, is that okay?"

"Oh, are you sure?" Minato asked.

Roxas then nodded.

And so, his friends sat down and ate lunch with him.

Their lunches are typical Japanese food.

The four of them are having a good time.

The rest of the day was spent on classes and social interaction in school, before going home at 4:01 p.m. The next two months are normal and good for Roxas, with him studying Japanese and other school subjects hard and well while doing his hobbies with a balanced time schedule.
