Chapter 68: Chapter 67 – the Bicolano Breeze
Third person POV
Later on, 7 o'clock came, and the dinner meal service came in. Flight attendants came to the passenger cabins with their meal carts ready to be served to passengers for this flight. Roxas saw that and ordered a tray of Chicken Curry with Potatoes and Rice for 200 Philippine Pesos, as well as a free water drink with it. After that, Roxas grabbed his provided utensils and ate up, tasting the tasty meal so good. "Mhm! Sarap!" Anko was happy for him, knowing that his vessel was having the time of his life. While eating his meal, Roxas took a selfie of himself and Anko, and Anko was shown in the picture with white outline around him to show his connection to Roxas as a ghost through his body.
After some time, Roxas ordered a plate of Leche Flan with a side of a scoop of Vanilla ice cream for dessert. Its price was 90 Philippine Pesos. Anko saw that it looked good to eat but couldn't eat it because he was dead.
Roxas' POV
And then, at 9:14 p.m., we landed at Legazpi City's airport, and it was a successful touchdown. Anko looked at the Filipino surroundings and the Legazpi City International Airport through the window with great enthusiasm, wanting to see the country's wonders through our exploration together. "Dude, I can feel the vibe being positive by just looking through the window and being in this plane," he said to me with enthusiasm.
"Yup, we're here, welcome to the Philippines, kaibigan," responded I.
Anko then looked at me with a smile. "Thanks, Roxas-kun."
A bit later, after the plane parked at a spot and was given a mobile set of stairs, the seatbelt signs turned off, prompting all of us passengers to unbuckle our seatbelts and stand up. We then grabbed our belongings and opened the overhead compartments to grab our remaining belongings. They were elbowing and shoving towards each other since the aisles were narrow. Anko, however, was easy for him to navigate as a ghost. A bit later, we were now out of the plane, down the flight steps, and walking towards the airport terminal on foot across the tarmac at night. Anko felt the cool, night, Bicolano breeze blowing against us at this hour thanks to being in a contract with me, meaning that he could feel it in the same way I could.
"This is so good!" Anko shouted.
"Yup!" I smiled at him while carrying my backpack and messenger bag with me.
Third person POV
A bit later, Roxas and Anko arrived at the airport terminal and went through immigration and security, before heading to the waiting for their next, connecting flight to Iloilo City, the province of Iloilo, which will call for boarding at 9:36 p.m. Seeing the time so tight because of their long walk from the plane, Roxas and Anko rushed to the waiting area near the flight's designated gate. Both of them did so and found that the flight was now in the process of boarding. Relieved to have reached the place before the boarding time ended, Roxas and Anko entered in, and Anko hid in Roxas. Roxas then entered in and lined up. The foreign student of a Japanese school then passed through successfully and went into the plane through a connected and attached jetway. This time, the plane was a narrow-bodied, small, and single-aisle. Roxas then settled into his assigned seat, stowing his backpack into the overhead compartment and putting his messenger bag on his lap. Luckily, there was a vacant seat that no one booked on his right, so Anko came out and occupied that seat like a regular, live human.
"Man, I am so excited to see your hometown!" Anko said to Roxas enthusiastically.
Roxas then looked at him and nodded.
Later on, at 9:56 p.m., the plane took off from Legazpi City and headed southwest towards Iloilo City.
