They pushed open the door.

"Lady Aqua, Lady Aqua! Please don't use Divine Power, I beg you!" Wiz burst into tears, "If this continues, I'll disappear!"

"Aqua, what are you doing?" Adam pulled Aqua aside, seeing Wiz's genuine expression of pain.

He didn't mean to blame Aqua — her lack of hostility toward Wiz lately showed she hadn't intended any harm.

But Aqua clearly thought he had misunderstood, "I didn't bully her, really, believe me, Adam!"

Afraid he wouldn't believe her, she nearly started crying.

Wait, why are you crying too? Wiz is the one who's hurt.

"Yes, yes, I know, I know." Quickly consoling the panicked water goddess, he asked curiously, "I know you didn't bully her, but what did you just do? Wiz became transparent."

"I just used Divine Sight to look at her — who knew that being scanned by Divine Power would hurt this lich? She's too weak, making such a fuss over just a tiny bit of Divine Power. She might be pretending to gain sympathy. This is why undead monsters are all untrustworthy beings."

She was helpless, resorting to blaming the highest-ranking undead, the Lich, for being too weak.
