Chapter 439: Elite (11), Group Meeting
"Alright, everyone! You've all done enough. Each of you has at least four solid skills at stage 6 and that's enough. Only one hour and thirty minutes are left before we enter War of Thrones."
Erix, Rin, Isabella, Aria, Lilith, Lily, Sameira, and Kenshin gathered and sat at the rectangular table in the open pavilion with Nira and Tenebria.
"I'll return for a bit and speak with Aaron that we'll be away for ten days," Isabella said.
"How old is he?" Tenebria asked.
"Six," Isabella smiled.
"Too young," Tenebria wryly smiled. "Alright, you should go right now and return within 30 minutes. We'll have a meeting after half an hour with a group of another Reverend-order."
"Eh?" Nira was surprised. "Teaming up?"
"Not exactly, but it is indeed a sort of alliance," Tenebria chuckled and looked at Erix and others while smiling. "Take half an hour of rest. You are prepared enough, so the next thing is to improve and hone yourself further during the War of Thrones."
"You will see others and learn automatically because you desire to get strong," Tenebria grinned. "so I am not worried."
She waved her hand and tiny mysterious green beads that looked like a type of natural plant's thing appeared before her.
Each one got a bead floating in front of them as Tenebria explained, "This is called Bead of Beginning. One of the top-tier resources available in this cosmos layer."
"I consider you promising, hence I am giving you this. This bead's effects are heavy as eating one will make your mind feel constant pressure. Your consciousness will be harder to move, but your learning speed will increase drastically as long as your willpower is strong enough to learn during the bead's effect."
Everyone was surprised while Nira chuckled, "This is a very rare resource and exclusive to our Shadow Bamboo Sanctuary. I've also eaten one and learned a lot during an opportunity. War of Thrones is also a good opportunity to bring out the effects of the beads."
"Eat it," Tenebria smiled. "You will feel a bit strange for a few minutes, and then the regular heaviness will descend, but as long as you focus, it won't affect your combat ability. More like, your combat ability will also improve as long as you focus properly."
"Alright, this sounds good," Erix grinned and popped the bead into his mouth. The others also did the same and closed their eyes.
"Meditate for half an hour until the meeting."
Tenebria left after saying that while Nira went to Unfettered Island through the portal.
After Isabella talked with Aaron for ten whole minutes about various things and reassured him, she and Nira talked with Maleina.
Maleina was given the task of overseeing their Unfettered Island and making sure everything worked smoothly.
The population of this kingdom was busy getting stronger and improving their lifestyle daily with Dungeon Gates and exploring the pocket dimension.
The Dukes, who were top guild leaders and leaders of various clans were getting stronger, so Tenebria didn't mind adding more followers to her expedition in Axis Realm.
For that purpose, she would never have enough Empyrean-order. As long as they were useful and trustworthy, she wanted them, hence Nira arrived with some news to spread around for the Empyrean-order.
After talking with Maleina and planning the news filled with opportunity, they left while Maleina and Amu gathered Dukes to relay to them the news and current situation of Erix and others.
…
Silent Howling Forest, another area in Adriax world like Shadow Bamboo Sanctuary.
Ayaka, the nine-tailed fox and master of this area gathered her followers who were going to War of Thrones and told them about the alliance.
"We'll be departing in ten minutes for the meeting at the Shadow Bamboo Sanctuary," Ayaka said with her mouth covered by a hand fan. "We'll discuss the workings of this Alliance and means to help each other in War of Thrones for the maximum benefit of both parties."
The ten people before her were all humanoids, but not humans. They were beastfolks of the Empyrean-order lifeform rank. They had human-like faces, and no skin fur, but had beastly features like lion-mane, bunny ears, cat ears, tails, some markings, and such.
"Master, if we work together then the speed of earning rewards and getting stronger will slow down," Leonide said with a frown, his muscled arms crossed over his chest. "And if they are weak and constantly need help, it will just be a big waste of our time and effort."
Ayaka rolled her eyes. "First, don't consider others weaker automatically. Second, our groups will not act together. We will have an alliance, but work separately and only help when required."
"Nine of you are entering War of Throne first time, but Silvia knows what kind of playground it is. There are natural foes there which will require you to work together with other groups to save time and get rewards." Enjoy new tales from empire
"You are in competition with thousands, don't forget this. If you want a Throne in this war, then both cunning and strength are necessary," Ayaka narrowed her eyes, her big golden tails blooming like a flower behind her. "Tread wisely and trust no one except for your group."
…
When the clock hit the mark with only one hour remaining before War of Thrones began, Ayaka arrived with her entourage.
They arrived at an open spot with hard ground in the Bamboo Forest and soon met with Tenebria who arrived with Erix and others.
Each group entering War of Thrones could have a maximum of ten people in it.
From Tenebria's side, Erix, Rin, Lilith, Aria, Isabella, Lily, Sameira, Kenshin, Nira, and the leader of this group whom Erix and others just met and got introduced before they arrived here.
He was a middle-aged man with combed black hair, a single crystal silver horn on his forehead, and a pair of crystal dark silver wings.
A Demon race individual and peak Empyrean-order powerhouse who had been loyal to Tenebria for years.
"Let's discuss the workings of Alliance first," Ayaka smiled and snapped her finger as a beautiful wooden rectangular table appeared with 10 chairs on both sides and one each on the left and right.
Tenebria and Ayaka sat on the left and right chairs while both groups sat facing each other.
The ten beastfolks all had various expressions, with most of them having judgy eyes as if they were measuring Erix and others.
Meanwhile, Erix and others had plain indifference and focus. It was because first, they had eaten that bead of the beginning, so they had to keep their focus together.
The distracting thoughts and useless thoughts would cause them more distraction and pressure them, but if they remained steady, their concentration would increase drastically and comprehension would receive a major boost.
"The first rule is to limit the number of aids both groups give to each other," Tenebria began with a smile. "How about 1 aid per day? If any group is in trouble, they can ask for help one time per day."
"Sounds good. I was about to propose this," Ayaka chuckled and added, "Next, I propose that when any group encounters a Chaos Harbinger, they must inform the other group and explore it together."
Tenebria raised her eyebrows and thought for a moment.
