Lucas quickly realized that he stood no chance against four mages alone, so he made the decision to flee. I can't defeat you now, but I'll definitely come back when I'm stronger, he said mockingly before transforming and vanishing. He re-emerged in a crimson replica of his previous location but swiftly left from there, continuing his journey eastward as he had originally planned.

As he approached the cave he had previously abandoned, Lucas exited the blood realm and reappeared inside the cave. He resumed his journey east, walking on foot and cultivating as he went. For another two hours, he made his way through the rugged terrain until he spotted a man sitting on a wooden bench. The man was dressed in worn-out blue jeans and a dirty white T-shirt, holding a bottle of water in his left hand while an unlit cigarette hung from his lips. The man noticed Lucas staring at him and stared back at Lucas as he climbed the stairs.

"Why is that guy still staring at me?" Lucas wondered as He quickly climbed the staircase leading to another bench. "I have no clue where I am or where to go, so I might as well lie down and cultivate," he mumbled to himself. He settled down, deciding to focus on refining the diluted blood essence within him rather than letting his body do it passively. This time, Lucas aimed to actively break through to Rank 1, entering his tiny essence realm.

What greeted him was breathtaking: a crimson moon hung in the sky above an ocean of the same vibrant hue. However, as his gaze traveled across the water, the vivid red deepened into an inky darkness, erasing any trace of its original brilliance.

Lucas began his cultivation but paused, remembering that he had still resembled a skeleton since his escape from the battle against the four mages. He decided to recreate his entire body with empowered essence, opting for a more refined energy than the rank 1 energy he had used before.

Meanwhile, the man in the worn-out T-shirt, who had been staring at Lucas earlier, climbed the stairs and approached him without checking if he was asleep. Ignoring the potential danger, the man began to search the pockets of Lucas's trench coat, which faded away, being replaced by a black T-shirt that slowly formed in its place. The man, already unnerved by the sudden transformation, nearly lost his composure. When the trench coat completely disappeared and he caught sight of a skeleton with its insides gradually reappearing, he fainted on the spot, overwhelmed by the surreal scene.

Lucas continued to cultivate unaware of what had gone on outside Lucas continued To Cultivate attempting to break trough Reaching rank 1 which should have been easy for anyone but for some reason he was struggling.

Gary and he's team still stood dumbfounded wondering how the Undead creature they had found had escaped Gary and he's team decided to head back To there homes they had wasted enough time where they were as Gary reached he's home he quickly fell asleep passing the fight that had gone on as another failed capture attempt.

Lucas decided since he couldn't break trough and looked relatively normal he could explore the city he had been cultivating in he stood up and saw the unconscious white t shirt man lying on the floor near the bench he had been on he picked the man up and laid him on the bench and left wearing a black t shirt black joggers and white sneakers.
