Chapter 76: Kai Cenant
Ethan Jones sat comfortably in the sleek gaming chair, adjusting the mic in front of him. His phone was off to the side, buzzing relentlessly with messages from his team. But he didn't mind—today was about having fun, and he was determined to enjoy it. He was live on one of the hottest streaming platforms, about to dive into a conversation with none other than Kai Cenat, one of the biggest streamers in the game.
The screen in front of him popped up with Kai's bright, excited face. "Yo, yo, yo! Welcome back to the stream, everybody!" Kai's signature energy filled the room. "We've got a special guest today, the one and only, One of a Kind superstar himself—Ethan Jones!"
Ethan grinned and waved at the camera. "Hey, hey, Kai! Thanks for having me, man. I'm pumped for this."
"Pumped? Nah, bro, we're all pumped. The fans are going crazy right now," Kai said, his voice booming through the speakers. "How does it feel to have the world literally at your feet right now? You just dropped one of the hottest albums of the year!"
Ethan leaned back in his chair, giving a casual shrug, though inside, he was buzzing. "Honestly, man, it feels surreal. I mean, to have people connect with my music like that? It's wild. But it's also a little... overwhelming, y'know?"
Kai nodded enthusiastically. "I feel that, I feel that. But it's all love, bro. Everybody's supporting you. You've got the whole world listening. And speaking of support, congrats on the tour, too! I heard most of your concert tickets are sold out already, bro!"
Ethan's grin grew wider, a little proud but still humble. "Yeah, that's been amazing. The support from the fans has been unreal. We sold out a lot of shows in record time, and it's still happening. But I've gotta be honest, I didn't expect it to blow up this big."
"Bro, you're Ethan freaking Jones. Of course it's gonna blow up," Kai teased, his eyes sparkling. "I've gotta ask though—everyone's been asking, why just 20,000 for the venues? You could've definitely packed stadiums, man."
Ethan chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. "I mean, I thought keeping it intimate would be cool, y'know? Smaller shows, more personal connection with the fans. But hey, if the demand's there... I guess I'll have to talk to my team and see what we can do."
The fans in the stream went wild at that response. "Increase the ticket sales!" "Ethan, please! The venue's too small!" " please increase it my social life and love life depends on it" "We need more tickets, we need more!"
Kai threw his hands up dramatically, a grin plastered on his face. "See, bro, even the fans are telling you. We need bigger shows! But hey, we'll leave that to the man himself to figure out. No pressure, right?"
Ethan laughed, his voice full of warmth. "Yeah, no pressure at all," he said, playing along with the humor. "But seriously, I'll see what I can do. I know the fans want it, so we'll figure it out."
Just then, the door to Kai's streaming setup creaked open, and a group of friends burst in, making Ethan's laugh even louder. "Yo, we got Fanum in the house!" Kai shouted, introducing his buddy, who casually walked over and grabbed a chair.
"Hey, hey!" Fanum waved at the camera. "What's up, Ethan? You good, man?"
Ethan smiled, nodding. "I'm good, just chilling with Kai. But it looks like I've got some work to do after this stream with all the ticket requests coming in."
The energy was infectious as Kai, Fanum, and the rest of the crew jumped into the conversation. They joked, laughed, and teased each other, with the fans joining in with their comments. Kai asked Ethan about the process of working with Eminem on the hit single "River," and Ethan gave a behind-the-scenes breakdown of how it all came together—how working with Eminem was a dream come true and how the collaboration just flowed naturally.
As the stream went on, Ethan's sense of humor and easygoing personality took center stage, showing the fans that he wasn't just a pop star—he was down to earth, relatable, and genuinely fun to be around. They all talked about everything from music to gaming to random bits of pop culture. Fans flooded the chat with messages like, "Ethan, you're so chill," and "You've got the best vibe, bro."
After a solid hour of banter and fan interaction, Kai clapped his hands together, signaling the end of the stream. "Alright, alright, it's time to wrap up. But before we go, huge thanks to Ethan for joining me today. Congratulations on the album, bro. You're killing it!"
Ethan grinned, throwing up a peace sign to the camera. "Thanks, Kai. You're the man. And to all the fans, you guys are amazing. Can't wait to see you all at the shows. We'll figure out those tickets, don't worry."
After some final words and thank-yous to the fans, the stream ended. Ethan leaned back in his chair, smiling at the screen as the numbers started to dwindle down. The adrenaline from the stream still buzzed through him. "That was awesome," he said, turning to Rebecca, who had been silently watching from the corner of the room.
"You did great," Rebecca said with a smile, standing up and grabbing her things. "And the fans loved you. You really connected with them."
Ethan stood up, stretching his arms. "Yeah, that was fun. Kai's a good guy. But..."
Rebecca looked at him, her eyebrow raised. "But what?"
Ethan's smile faded slightly as he looked at her. "So, about those venue sizes... Do you think we can increase ticket sales for some of the shows?"
Rebecca gave him a knowing look, one eyebrow raised. "I figured you'd ask that. I'll talk to the team when we land. We'll see what we can do."
Ethan nodded, his mind already racing with ideas for how to make the shows even bigger. He didn't want to disappoint anyone. If the fans wanted more, he was going to give it to them.
As they made their way to the airport heading to another interview this one life, Ethan's thoughts were filled with plans for the future. He was ready for the next chapter, and he couldn't wait to see where the journey would take him. The music, the fans, the opportunities—it was all falling into place, and he wasn't about to stop anytime soon.
