Chapter 134: Texas Finale
The arena was a frenzy of flashing lights, deafening screams, and pure, unfiltered energy. The moment Ethan Jones turned to the side of the stage, the crowd erupted—because stepping out from the shadows, dressed in all black with his signature hoodie up, was none other than Eminem.
The stadium nearly shook.
The opening chords of "River" filled the air, and the roar of the crowd was enough to drown out the music. Ethan took the mic first, his voice smooth as he sang the hauntingly familiar hook:
🎵 "I've been a liar, been a thief..." 🎵
🎵 "All my sins need holy water
Feel it washing over me" 🎵
The fans screamed every word back at him. The energy in the building was unreal. Then, just as Ethan held the last note, Eminem grabbed the mic, pulled back his hood, and dove into his first verse, delivering each bar with razor-sharp precision.
🎵 "He's comin' home with his neck scratched, to catch flack
Sweat jackets and dress slacks, mismatched
On his breath's Jack, he's a sex addict
And she just wants to exact revenge and get back" 🎵
The audience exploded. Hands shot up, phones flashed, and a wave of fans surged toward the barricade, desperate to get closer to a living legend.
Midway through the verse, Eminem did something unexpected. He walked straight to the front row, where a group of girls stood, their mouths wide open in pure shock. With the mic gripped tight, he leaned in close, rapping directly to them, his breathless cadence making their screams hit an even higher pitch.
"OH MY GOD, HE'S RIGHT HERE!"
"EMINEM! EMINEM!"
One of them nearly fainted, another clutched her friend's arm, shaking uncontrollably. He didn't break character for a second—just smirked before stepping back onto the stage, his flow never faltering. The contrast was insane: a rap god towering over fans who had likely spent their whole lives dreaming of this moment.
They lost it. Their screams were piercing, a stark contrast to Eminem's usual hardcore fan base. But it was a moment. He smirked, nodding as he delivered each bar effortlessly, the crowd feeding off his energy.
The entire stadium pulsed with life. Fans rapped along, arms raised, their voices echoing off the walls. Flashing lights bathed the stage in flickers of red and white, creating a hypnotic rhythm that matched the beat.
As the chorus hit again, Ethan and the entire stadium sang in unison:
🎵 "I've been a liar, been a thief, been a lover, been a cheat..." 🎵
The crowd was in a frenzy, and the moment they thought they had caught their breath, the beat switched. The instrumental for "River" faded, and in its place, a new storm was brewing. A rumble of anticipation went through the audience, and then—without warning—Eminem launched into another verse, taking them back to one of his most iconic bars:
🎵 "Detergent and bleach is burnin' the wound
'Cause now with her in the womb
We can't bring her in this world, should've knew
To use protection 'fore I bit into your forbidden fruit, fuck!"🎵
The place exploded. Fans screamed so loud it felt like the stadium walls might crumble. Ethan prowled the stage, hyping up the crowd as Eminem unleashed his relentless flow. Every line hit like a bullet, every beat drop sent shockwaves through the arena. Fans rapped along word for word, their voices merging into a deafening chorus of pure devotion.
Spotlights swept across the stadium, illuminating thousands of faces twisted in excitement, arms raised in unison. The bass vibrated through the floor, sending chills down spines. Even security guards at the barricades were nodding along, unable to resist the raw electricity in the air.
Ethan, drenched in sweat but feeding off the energy, seized the moment. As Eminem wrapped his verse, Ethan grabbed his mic and roared into the night—
"ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!"
The crowd lost it.
Screams. Cheers. Chants. The entire stadium shook with a deafening response.
Ethan grinned like a madman, pacing across the stage. He cupped his hand to his ear, teasing them.
"I SAID… ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!"
They screamed even louder.
One more time, he let it rip: "ARE. YOU. NOT. ENTERTAINED?"
The reaction was monstrous. Fans were jumping, throwing their hands in the air, chanting back at him with reckless abandon.
Breathing heavily, Ethan turned to Eminem, smiling wide. He threw his arm around him, lifting his mic again.
"GIVE IT UP TO THE GREATEST RAPPER OF ALL TIME!"
The stadium thundered with approval. Chants of "Eminem! Eminem!" echoed through the venue, fists punching the air, voices hoarse from screaming.
Eminem shook his head, a rare, small grin playing on his lips. He stepped forward, raising the mic. "Texas... y'all are fuckiing crazy. Thank you."
The fans lost their minds again. The legend himself had spoken.
Ethan and Eminem shared a quick side bro hug, a solid pat on the back, then Em threw up a peace sign and walked off the stage, the crowd roaring as he disappeared into the darkness.
Ethan stood there, soaking it all in, then turned back to his people.
He lifted his mic, took a deep breath, and shouted with every ounce of energy he had left—
"ARE YOU READY NOW, TEXASSSSS?!"
The response was earth-shattering.
"YEEEEEAAAAAHHHH!"
The energy in the stadium reached a level that words couldn't describe. The night wasn't over. Not even close. And Texas? Texas was ready.
