Chapter 2: Family problems
"Black Beetal Flash consumed, 5 Sacred Blood Geno points gained."
"What, System! I can earn rewards for completing missions? Why didn't you tell me this before? And what's the deal with the absorption fluid? How am I supposed to use it? Should I drink it or something?"
[Host, there are special events in the original version, such as Black Crystal and Golden Gruler. Each sanctuary has only 3 to 5 missions like these, and completing them will grant you rewards. The rewards are either random or based on your mission performance. Regarding the absorption fluid, you can either drink it and then consume the Life Essence, or mix it with water and boil the Life Essence in it. The second option is preferable.]
I'm glad I got this fluid; otherwise, I wouldn't be able to collect Super Geno points. In the original story, Hansen could absorb any Life Essence because he absorbed the Life Essence of the Golden Growler when it was prepared for the little Golden Growler.
First, I lit a fire and prepared a boiling pot of water. Once the water was bubbling, I dropped in the life essence and fluid, letting them meld together. While I waited, I picked up the black crystal and offered it to the swift air ant that I had bought from the market three days ago. After half an hour, I checked the pot. The life essence had fully dissolved into the water, transforming it into a thick soup, and I couldn't resist taking a sip.
"Black Beetle life essence consumed. 1 Super Geno point gained."
"Black Beetle life essence consumed. 1 Super Geno point gained."
"Black Beetle life essence consumed. 1 Super Geno point gained."
....
I teleported back from my shelter, knowing it was time for my aunt and uncle's visit. Just before I stepped into the yard, I overheard a harsh voice that belonged to my uncle.
"My brother has said this: you've lived in the old house for more than 20 years. We will not collect the rent, but this house is our inheritance, and it must be divided equally."
In the original agreement, Han Sen had offered 2 million for this old house, but now that I'm here, I'm not going to hand over any money. Instead, they'll face the consequences of their own actions. It's a relief that I came prepared. The corners of my lips curled up in a sneer as I surveyed the room, my eyes lingering on the once-familiar surroundings that now felt foreign and unwelcoming.
"You can't even ask for rent, so why bother?" As I stepped inside the house, my mom opened her mouth to speak, but I quickly motioned for her to stop. My silence was met with a mixture of shock and anger from my relatives, who seemed to think they held the upper hand in this situation.
"What did you say, you little brat? You're the only ones living here, yet we can't collect rent from you. Don't think I'm showing kindness, allowing you to say whatever you want," my first aunt spat, her voice venomous and condescending.
"Kindness? Please! Enough of this nonsense. Just a reminder: we are also heirs to this house, and we have every right to live here. It's not on rent. At best, you could ask to share it or negotiate your share of the value," I shot back, my voice firm but controlled. My relatives exchanged uneasy glances, realizing too late that they had underestimated me.
"You'd better cough up a million or we'll sell this house and take our share of the money!" my first aunt shouted, her face flushed with rage, her eyes bulging with malice. My second aunt and uncle nodded in agreement, their faces twisted in a scowl. But I just smiled, a cold, calculated smile that sent a shiver down their spines.
"All this time, we were bound to all of you, even when you sold our company to the Starry Group. My father always valued family, but now I find myself at a loss, having to confront the harsh reality that you've abandoned the very principles he instilled in us. The memories of our family gatherings, the laughter, and the tears we shared, all seem to have been nothing more than a facade."
"Brat, what do you mean by that? It's our company, and we can sell it to whoever we want. So stop messing around and pay the 2 million, or let's sell this house!" My uncle's anger was palpable, his face red with rage, his voice booming through the room, but I remained unfazed, standing my ground, determined to defend my mother's rights.
"Uncle, the company you sold wasn't solely yours. Perhaps you forgot or simply didn't care, but when my father was alive, he was the director, holding 15 percent of the company. After his death, that 15 percent should have rightfully gone to my mother. So, with the sale proceeds, 3.75 million belongs to her. Therefore, after deducting the 2 million you demand, it's you who owe us 1.75 million. You may have thought you could just brush this under the rug, but I've done my research, and I won't let you take advantage of my mother's kindness and trust." I spoke calmly, my voice steady, but firm, as I looked my uncle straight in the eye, refusing to back down.
"Now please go back, you are not welcome here, after a month I will prepare all the related papers and we will settle all the matter related to this house and money." My mother's voice was firm and determined, echoing through the room as she stood her ground against her siblings, who were seething with anger and resentment.
My uncles and aunts were so angry and frustrated that, for me, it was the most amusing scene I had witnessed in my entire life. They were full of anger, their faces red and their voices raised, but still, they left the house eventually, unable to change our mother's mind. Then I looked at my mother, who was standing tall despite the emotional turmoil that had just transpired.
"I'm so useless that I can't even keep the house," Luo Sulan held Han Yan, her face covered with tears, her shoulders shaking with sobs. She felt defeated and helpless, as if she had failed to protect her family's interests.
"Don't worry, Mom. I am here, even though Dad isn't. I will not let them take away our house. You take a rest and I'll consult Uncle Zhang on the matter." Han Sen's reassuring words were laced with determination, as he moved to comfort his distraught mother. He quickly pulled out his phone and dialed a number, his fingers moving swiftly as he called a friend of his father's, Mr. Zhang, who was a well-respected lawyer who used to work in their family business as legal counsel.
"Hi, Uncle Zhang? This is Sen... Is your back any better? I have a legal matter that I want to ask you about... So..." Han Sen's voice was filled with a sense of hope as he explained the situation to Uncle Zhang, seeking his expertise and guidance. He looked a little happy when he hung up, a sense of relief washing over him as he realized that there was still a way to fight for their family's rights. For him money doesn't matter much since he already has more than 30 million but still he don't want to be bullied by his useless relatives.

Ok so this was end of drama chapter for my satisfaction since I never liked the original of this part.
