Selena and Leyfon stood in front of each other.

Knowing how powerful Leyfon was, she planned to go all out from the start. However, there was a reason for Leyfon suggesting a spar.

Leyfon took a sneak glance to the left side of the training ground, seeing a pair of students who seemed to have just finished their training.

Selena took advantage of this opportunity to charge triple Concentration and blasted him head-on.

"!!!" Leyfon slightly raised his eyebrows as the blast hit him, kicking up the dust on the ground.

Selena didn't lower her guard since her palms were still feeling Leyfon.

When the dust settled, she saw Leyfon standing in his position without even flinching.

"Hoh?" Leyfon noticed what kind of technique the previous attack was. "You went one step further with that control?"

Selena nodded. "I believe this is the way to surpass you."

"Interesting. That's indeed something I can't do." Leyfon smirked. "After all, our method of computing the control is different. Mine is similar to your guy. We separate the thoughts into two to compute our power simultaneously.

"However, you are different. In the first place, you're computing everything inside your mind at a much faster speed than us. That's where your talent lies. As a result, you're able to insert three control techniques at the same time.

Selena believed that she was still stronger if she assessed their powers correctly. Hence, she pushed forward her staff and blasted Leyfon. The latter punched forward, not only destroying her blast but also hitting her.

The bricks crumbled to the ground as Selena was planted against the wall. She struggled to get out while thinking about what had just happened.

Her power was definitely stronger, yet for some reason, she was being overpowered.

"I have to praise you for being able to come up with something clever. It suits you, but at the same time, in the midst of your pursuit of strength, you have forgotten something.

"I know how you're feeling. It must feel good to know that your new technique is working and powerful, but you shouldn't be too focused on the big power.
