Chapter 46: Aftermath-IV
Third Person PoV
Kojou walked out of the room, with a towel on his neck and wearing only his pants.
His hair was wet and droplets of water were present all over his uncovered body. He saw Aya sitting on the couch, a pink tinge on her face. It would be an exaggeration to call it a blush but it wasn't unnoticeable either.
"When did you come here?"
Kojou asked as he took out a bottle of water from the refrigerator. Aya gazed at Kojou drinking water and answered.
"It has been three hours since I came here and four since we separated, you are pretty courteous towards your guests."
Aya said with heavy sarcasm in her voice, Kojou wasn't bothered by that and calmly replied.
"Well she inherited someone's sex drive, what can I say? You can stay in the room beside Asagi, and Yuuma can stay with Asagi. In a week the flat would be expanded."
Aya squinted her eyes at Kojou before nodding and standing up.
"Are you going to see Yuuma?"
"Yes. It would be unfortunate if you weren't able to control your instincts and drained her to death."
"Well I don't know about that, she was the one who drained me more. Are you sure you wanna go inside?"
Kojou said, keeping the bottle back inside the refrigerator while raising an eyebrow at Aya.
"Hmph! It's just some teenagers being lascivious. What is there to be scared of?"
Aya scoffed at Kojou before briskly moving towards the room Kojou waved out of.
Kojou wanted to say something before he shook his head and let her do as she wanted.
He walked towards his room, donned a simple half-shirt, and placed a note at the table for Asagi and the others, including Aya.
He left his home and went towards the docks.
His walking speed was quicker than most and he quickly reached his destination. He looked at the ocean, squinting his eyes and trying to find a ship.
He had to look around for some time before his eyes were able to see the ship he wanted to see.
Oceanus Grave II, Vatler's cruise ship. Kojou wanted to talk with the Lord of the Ardeal Territory.
He was the ambassador of the Warlord's dominion in Itogami Island, his standing was high enough to affect the situation in which Kojou was in currently.
Seeing that Oceanus Grave was still floating all around Itogami island, Kojou immediately teleported there using his mist transformation.
He appeared on the deck and was pleasantly surprised to find that Vatler was there, dressed in a three-piece suit, a smile on his face, as if he knew Kojou would come on his ship.
Kojou didn't show much reaction to such a welcome except raising his eyebrow.
…
Aya was shocked when she heard the moans coming from inside the room. She imagined many things, but what she was seeing right now was not what she had imagined.
Yuuma was lying on the bed, whose sheets were drenched in fluids beyond imagination.
Drool, vaginally juices, semen, and blood all adjourned the sheets. Yuuma was lying in a pose that made her look like a dead body, only the slow movement of her chest showed that she was still alive.
Her face, chest, and abdomen were covered in semen, her eyes were not visible, and even her mouth which was open had some semen in it.
The room reeked of sex, enough to send therianthropes into heat the moment they entered into this room.
Semen was still leaking from Yuuma's vagina onto the bed, her neck had some signs of choking.
Yuuma changed her position in her sleep and turned on her side, showcasing her ass to Aya, who was even more embarrassed to see it red and full of palm marks.
"What did they do for four hours straight? I don't think even vampires go on for this long."
Aya muttered in fear as she cleaned the room and tidied up Yuuma.
…
"So Kojou, have you finally found your true self and come to consummate our love, with me?"
Vatler said. Kojou snorted at that and said.
"Rather than me finding my true self, it would seem like you found your true self."
Vatler laughed at that and asked.
"So why are you here, Kojou?"
"You really should be an actor, don't you know why I am here?"
Kojou said while shaking his head.
"Indeed I know. You want me to use my name and the force behind it to suppress the forces that are trying to get you?"
"Yes." Kojou said honestly without any problems.
"That is not impossible. But what will I gain out of it? Even for me, it is not easy to take care of so many organizations."
Vatker said, swirling the wine in his hands.
"Indeed, but you don't need to take care of all of them, the Japanese government, LKO, and the Island Management have already been taken care of, some are handled by the Chaos Zone, while some were handled by others. You only need to take care of the remaining ones."
Kojou explained to Vatler, even though he knew Vatler knew about this.
Vatler chuckled at that and said.
"If so much is already done then I can handle the remaining ones easily. But I will ask again, what is it in for me?"
"Nothing. Maybe I will look at you in a favorable light after this."
Kojou said nonchalantly, which made even Vatler stupefied.
"You mean to say Vatler-sama would do your bidding just to have a chance at gaining a better impression in your eyes!?"
Kojou looked at who had screamed at him with such passion and saw a dirty blonde-haired vampire glaring at him.
"Um? Who are you?" Kojou asked.
"Tobias Jagan, aide to Lord Dimitrie Vatler."
"I see. Anyways, what's your response? Vatler."
Vatler looked at Kojou for a moment before laughing out loud. He gradually calmed down and said.
"Fine, I agree. But say can you tell me about what happened at the Blazing Banquet?"
Kojou looked silently at Vatler and said.
"I have no problem with that but I don't remember much, but I can tell you this much, I killed Avrora Florestina."
Vatler looked surprised at that.
"So what else do you remember?"
"Nothing, whenever I try to remember I see that scene and then blank out. But I also have a question."
"Ask."
"What exactly is the Blazing Banquet? I can't seem to find the answer anywhere."
"Unfortunately Kojou, I don't even know. Few people in the world know what truly happens in the Banquet, the ones who know are the Primogenitors, leaders of top organizations and some old monsters still living, and I do not fall in that category."
"Aren't you pretty close to the 1st? You never asked?"
"I did. But he didn't tell me, he hoodwinked me."
Vatler said with a shrug. The second man standing behind him said worryingly.
"Vatler-sama don't talk about Warlord-sama like that."
Vatler ignored him, while the other one said with heavy sarcasm.
"It isn't easy to get an audience with Warlord-sama. Unlike some people think."
"I give anyone an audience very easily, I am also a Primogenitor, aren't I?"
Kojou said with a frown on his face. Tobias sneered at Kojou.
"You are just a joke."
Kojou looked at Tobias seriously and said.
"I am a joke?"
As eight familiars worth of magical power pressured the three vampires in front of him.
Kojou simultaneously made the area around him ethereal using mist so that the ship didn't sink.
Tobias and Kira were already gasping and kneeling while Vatler was better than them, but even his eyes were red and his fangs were showing clearly.
Kojou calmed down and said again.
"Am I a joke now?"
Kira answered quickly.
"Please forgive Tobias, Akatsuki-sama."
Kojou didn't say much to Kira but said to Vatler.
"Even you got agitated?"
"Even though I am strong Kojou, eight familiars worth of strength is too much unless I am prepared for it. Most beings in the world are not your match even with only eight familiars at your call."
Vatler said as he calmed his familiars and instincts.
"So can I expect you will handle the problem?"
"Yeah, sure. But please do tell me any information you manage to get on the Banquet."
"Sure."
Kojou left Vatler and teleported back to the dock while in deep thought.
"Was he telling the truth or lying?"
Kojou muttered as his words were carried by the wind and vanished in them. Kojou wasn't sure of Vatler's intentions.
Even though he asked him for a favor, he didn't want to get too chummy with him.
"Now does he know about the Banquet and is lying or does he truly not know?"
Kojou said to nobody but himself and began walking back to his home. But at that moment he remembered something.
"Wait, I had a date with Veldiana."
He had told her that he would take her to a date after the alert was over. Now that the problem was over he needed to fulfill his promise.
He looked at the time and saw it was close to 2 pm.
"There is plenty of time. Let's go and meet up with her."
…
By the time Kojou reached Veldiana's workplace he had told his plans to Asagi thus he could go on this date with ease.
He entered the Cafe and sat down on an empty seat, and soon enough as he predicted, Veldiana came towards his table and said.
"So the mysterious savior finally remembered his damsel?"
"Alright, I am late but there were reasons for that."
"Did you save the island or what?"
"Can't say about that but I can tell you that I had some circumstances."
Kojou evaded the questions smoothly.
"So what is your order?"
"One Veldiana Caruana, please."
"W-what!?"
"Didn't we have a date scheduled? I am taking you on one now, get ready quickly."
"What? I have my shift, I don't even have any clothes!"
"Then just handle the shift, or I can talk to your boss, I will take care of the rest."
Veldiana looked at Kojou before sighing and saying.
"Fine, wait for fifteen minutes."
Kojou nodded and leaned back in his seat. Veldiana went into the staff room and began to talk with her boss.
Faster than she had predicted she came back, her maid dress vanished and she was dressed in casual clothes.
She had even managed to apply some make-up, courtesy of her gyaru co-worker.
Kojou stood up and gave her his hand. She smiled and hooked her arm around his, making her breasts touch lightly against his biceps.
Kojou didn't comment on that and moved out of the Cafe, his destination? A mall.
The two of them spent their day like that touring the various spots on the island. He had brought her new clothes, appropriate for a date.
Of course, he had paid for it, using his mother's money that is. The day was fun for both of them.
As the time to part came they both had a similar feeling in their minds. They felt as if they knew the other one far better than this.
As if they knew about them but forgot them. But no matter how much they thought, they failed to remember anything.
All they had to prove was the strange feeling in their heart.
…
Kojou returned home during dinner time and saw a lively scene.
Nagisa and Kanon were serving food, Asagi and Yuuma were talking. Sayaka was talking with Yukina, and the small Nina was sitting on Kanon's head.
Kojou noticed that Aya was missing from the group, but that wasn't out of his expectations.
"Kojou you finally came!"
Asagi was the first to notice him and with her saying it out loud the others also noticed.
"Okaeri, Kojou-kun!"
"Welcome back, Onii-san!"
"Where were you, Akatsuki Kojou?"
"Which girl were you playing with Kojou?"
"The playboy vampire is here?"
All of them greeted him at once he smiled at that and went to take his seat beside Asagi.
The final one to speak up was Yukina.
"Were you on a date, senpai?"
"Yeah, I had made a promise beforehand, I had free time today so I went."
Kojou answered and began eating.
"So, Aya isn't here?" Kojou asked.
"Yeah she is still in her room, she refuses to come out so we didn't force her."
Asagi answered.
"It's fine, I will go and give her dinner. Are you going after dinner, Yuuma?"
"Yes, My flight is scheduled."
"Good, try to come back as soon as possible."
"Yeah."
Dinner was peaceful after that, and soon everyone returned to their home and Yuuma was teleported by Kojou.
And finally, he stood in front of a door, Aya was inside the room and he had to deliver dinner to her.
'Why do I have an ominous premonition?'
Kojou wondered as he turned the doorknob.
