When Tatsuya prepared to hunt down Masa and the Isshiki family, Miyuki kept calling him and tried to stop him, but—

"Tatsuya-kun~! Come out~! I am already outside~!"

Tatsuya and Miyuki fell silent, and while Tatsuya hadn't heard this voice and was completely unfamiliar with the source of the voice, he could tell who this person was, and as expected, when he walked out of the house, he saw Masa. 

"Hiiro-san!" 

Naturally, Miyuki was startled since she hadn't expected Masa to appear in front of her house suddenly. 

"Did you eavesdrop on our conversation?" 

Yet, Tatsuya, who was clear-headed, asked Masa those words calmly, but his voice clearly had a hint of a warning. 

"Don't look at me like that." Masa maintained his smile, and then, all of a sudden, a powerful aura swept them, causing fear to sweep over their hearts as if a deep darkness wanted to swallow them. "Aren't you the one who started it? If you don't provoke me, then I won't have to do this. Oh, right, you don't have emotions, so you don't understand the feeling of anger, right? Now, can you understand?" 

Unlike Tatsuya, who remained still despite his trembling legs, Miyuki passed out directly when she encountered Masa's Supreme King Haki, and as expected, when she passed out, anger appeared on Tatsuya's face. 

"Oh? What is it? I thought that you couldn't feel anger because your emotions had been erased. But it seems that you still have your emotions left." 

"Shut up!" Tatsuya was enraged. "I will make you pay for what you have done to Miyuki!" 

"What a coincidence. I also want you to pay for trying to hurt my family." Masa also had veins on his forehead as he showed his anger despite his smiling face. "Do you think you can do anything since you can make a nuclear explosion-like attack? Don't be arrogant! You are just a boy!" 

"Aren't you also the same! You are much younger than me! Do you think I need to use my "Material Burst" to erase you? I can erase you easily with this!" 

Raising his arm, Tatsuya had no hesitation and aimed his pistol-shaped CAD at Masa, then used his innate ability. 

"Mist Dispersion." 

Tatsuya might not have been a great magician based on international standards, but it was because of his strong, innate magic. 

Decomposition. 

This was one of his innate abilities, which allowed him to decompose anything, and "Mist Dispersion" was one of its variations. As long as one was hit by this magic, one would disappear and be dispersed into a mist, completely vanishing from this world. 

Masa, who was hit by this magic, would disappear into a mist, but—

"...nothing is happening?" 

Masa was in front of him, and he was simply a living target, yet this magic did nothing. 

"I told you, right? Do you think you can do anything with those innate abilities? Decomposition, is it? You are wrong. If you can do that, it is because all you have met are weaklings!" 

"How?" 

"Do you think I will tell you?" 

In the end, the core of magic was to change the reality before them to fit into their imagination. 

Tatsuya imagined Masa would disappear completely into a mist, but Masa's reality was stronger, and his will allowed him to negate the effect of Tatsuya's decomposition, this unreasonable power that could erase everything. 

Yet, inwardly, Masa had to say, he had a cold sweat behind his back, completely nervous since he had to admit that it took a toll on his body to prevent himself from being erased from this world by Tatsuya's magic. 

Whether it was by using Haki or Data Fortification magic, which prevented the reality and data of his body from being altered so the Mist Dispersion wouldn't erase his being. 

Still, this was a gamble, and he dared to do this because he knew that he wouldn't die due to his unique ability. 

Yet, he had to say, he was glad that he was successful. 

However, it didn't mean that he had won, especially since Tatsuya had two innate abilities. 

One was Decomposition, which allowed him to decompose anything, and the other was Regrowth, which allowed him to restore anything within 24 hours of the past. 

One was to destroy everything, and the other was to recreate everything. 

This guy was simply a god in the world of Mahouka, and this was the reason why Tatsuya had been confident and didn't show any fear in his eyes, yet no one was invincible. 

Even Masa could die, depending on the situation, and this was the same with Tatsuya. 

What is Tatsuya's weakness? 

Miyuki.

Tatsuya had the power to destroy everything and recreate anything. More importantly, he had lost his emotions, so he wouldn't feel anything, even if he had killed or destroyed everything. 

However, even such a creature had a limiter or a weakness known as Miyuki, the little sister. 

By having Miyuki by their side, Masa had sealed Tatsuya's Material Burst, and Tatsuya definitely wouldn't use such destructive and all-out magic in a place where Miyuki might be affected. 

At this moment, Miyuki lay on the ground and passed out behind Tatsuya. 

Yes, Tatsuya stood in front of Miyuki, knowing how cunning and dirty his opponent was. His decomposition didn't work, and he also had to protect Miyuki, so he knew that he had to defeat Masa as soon as possible! 

So, at that moment, Tatsuya made a direct decision by disappearing all of a sudden. 

Yes, Tatsuya disappeared, but it wasn't due to magic. Instead, it was simply a martial art that allowed him to walk into his opponent's blind spot and then settle everything in close combat.

Masa's magic, which allowed him to defend against his "Mist Dispersion," might be good, but what about close combat? 

All the magicians focused on improving the attack power of their magic, forgetting about close combat, so Tatsuya made his attack on Masa with his fists as he was confident in his hand-to-hand combat. 

Yet, Masa shook his head when Tatsuya suddenly got close to him. 

'Did he not remember my nickname?' 

Out of all the nicknames that Masa received, "Blue Beast" was the first, and it also showed his might in close combat, so Tatsuya, who wanted to challenge him in close combat, thought that this guy was a fool. 

As he thought so, Masa's hands were on his side as if he was in the Iai (sword drawing) stance, without a sword, but Tatsuya ignored that stance and attacked Masa from the blind spot. 

Yet, all of a sudden, a blue flash suddenly emerged before his eyes, and his head was beheaded. 

"Coulomb's sword..." 

Tatsuya forgot about this magic, but everything was too late since as the blade touched his neck, his head was separated from his body and fell helplessly yet despite being dead, his eyes couldn't comprehend how a sword-shaped CAD suddenly appeared by Masa's side, and how Masa could swing his sword so fast. 

Yet, the result was determined, and in this duel, Tatsuya was defeated and died at that moment.
