Starsea Fleet: Age of the Lord

Chapter 192: Chapter 192: The Frostmark Fleet

Federation Year 7499, August 7th

Storm Empire Starport

Feng Mo, accompanied by Ai Er, Kylan, Han Peipei, Feng Tianyi, Laila, Lacey, and Feng Xian, gathered in the Storm God's command center. Today marked the fleet's departure as the Storm Empire prepared to fully engage the Snow Eagle Empire. Four fleets were mobilized: the elite Storm Fleet, led personally by Feng Mo, the Storm God Fleet under Kylan, the Gale Fleet led by Feng Tianyi, and the Hurricane Fleet under Laila and Lacey. Together, they fielded over 9,000 starships, including 2,700 T4 warships and the remaining T3.

The Storm Fleet would take on the Frostmark Fleet stationed in the Snow Eagle System, while the other three fleets, directed by Kylan, would launch an assault from the Auckland System, aiming to capture the Windmill System and pave the way to the Snow Eagle Empire's heart.

"Lord Feng Mo, coordinates locked on the Auckland System. The fleet is initiating warp synchronization to Level Three. All primary genetic warriors, prepare for Deep-Sea Mode," Han Peipei's commanding voice resonated through the control centers of each ship in the allied fleets.

The fleet's first destination was Auckland, once known as the "Slave Capital" of the Snow Eagle Empire. With Frostmark Fleet stationed at the Snow Eagle System, the Auckland and Windmill Systems were left under the Empire's military command. Though the Snow Eagle Empire's pride, the Snow Eagle Fleet, had already fallen to Feng Mo, their military still boasted ten fleets, each with close to 10,000 ships, including a substantial share of T4 warships.

Feng Mo knew the main battle would happen in the Snow Eagle System. Victory over the Frostmark Fleet would mark a decisive blow to the Snow Eagle Empire. As Storm Fleet entered Auckland, they met no resistance—the Empire's military had withdrawn most forces to fortify the Windmill System, creating a classic standoff.

The Snow Eagle System, the empire's primary system, was formidable. With 17 life-supporting planets and over 1,000 resource planets, including three T5-grade resource planets, it was a strategic gem that Feng Mo had long coveted. To gain an advantage, he sent four T5 Mystic Bird stealth bombers ahead of the Storm Fleet to locate the Frostmark Fleet.

Reconnaissance confirmed that the Frostmark Fleet was entrenched just outside Snow Eagle Prime, fortified by T5-grade defenses from Snow Eagle Starport. Feng Mo wasn't surprised—they were wise to rely on the Starport's defenses rather than meet him head-on in open space. Still, he knew the Frostmark Fleet underestimated his forces.

In addition to their two T4 missile ships capable of launching 2,000 T4 missiles, Storm Fleet now had a T5 Annihilation Battleship, two T5 Pegasus missile ships, and four T5 Mystic Birds. The Starport's defenses were formidable, but Feng Mo was confident his fleet could overcome them.

"Mello, the Starport's defenses are yours," Feng Mo commanded. "Advance steadily, stopping just at radar range of the enemy. Open missile bays for our twenty T5 Sword Dragon escorts and two Pegasus missile ships. Storm God, Paladin, and our ten T5 Wolf-class ships: prepare the Annihilation Cannons."

As Feng Mo's orders echoed, Storm Fleet powered up, every weapon and shield primed for battle. When both fleets appeared on each other's radar, the commanders on each side issued the same command:

"Lock onto all enemy ships. Initiate the first saturation bombardment!"

In synchronized fashion, Storm Fleet unleashed 4,600 T5 missiles streaking toward the Frostmark Fleet. In response, Frostmark retaliated with 2,000 T4 missiles, along with orange beams from their Annihilation Cannons, illuminating the void. Each fleet raised shields to maximum and activated close-in defenses.

"Mello! Begin the assault!"

Under the cover of Storm Fleet's missile barrage, Mello's T5 Mystic Birds, positioned in prime bombing locations, launched relentless missile strikes on the Starport's defenses. Explosions rippled across the Starport, consuming support ships and soldiers alike. The intense destruction filled Mello with a slight thrill of excitement as the Starport fell under fire.

Meanwhile, aboard the Frostmark Fleet's flagship, a middle-aged man clad in black battle attire sat firmly in his captain's chair, watching as 4,600 T5 missiles streaked toward them. His expression remained icy, although a flicker of fear—perhaps even relief—appeared in his gaze.

"To think that this Federation's youngest starship design master could create two T5-grade missile ships within a year," he muttered. The reality was chilling: the Storm Empire's resources, and Feng Mo's terrifying design talent, had forged an unexpected threat that could devastate even a fortified Starport.
