As Corey thought on the options he had to increase his strength, he eventually decided to first fuse with an Infinity Crystal.

Although the Infinity Crystal would not grant him and increase in his physical stats, his mana pool would drastically increase and he would also gain a corresponding resistance.

As for which Infinity Crystal he chose to fuse with, he chose the Omni-Weapon Infinity Crystal.

'I wonder if I'll get a resistance or what type of resistance I'll get once I fuse with the Omni-Weapon Infinity Crystal.'

A curious light flashed in Corey's eyes, but just as he was about to bring out the Omni-Weapon Infinity Crystal from his Tri-Pupil Eyes, Nina spoke.

[I'd advise you to fuse with the Water Infinity Crystal instead of the Omni-Weapon Infinity Crystal.]

Corey raised his brows, "Why? Wouldn't the Omni-Weapon Infinity Crystal increase my battle prowess by a huge amount compared to the Water Infinity Crystal?"

[It would, but that's if you're able to successfully fuse with it.]

"Successfully fuse with it?" Corey tilted his head to the side, "Why wouldn't I be able to successfully fuse with it?"

[The Omni-Weapon Infinity Crystal and the Water Infinity Crystal are both Mystic graded Infinity Crystals, and normally, without my help you shouldn't be able to fuse with them until you become a Mystic Being, regardless of how powerful your physical stats and how terrifying your mind is.]

"I know this, you told me in the past. The reason why I was able to fuse with the Earth Infinity Crystal is because you removed all traces of Mysticism in the Earth Infinity Crystal."

[Correct. The Paragon Ancestor gave me this ability, however, I should mention this now.]

Corey raised a brow.

[When you become a Mystic Being, if you obtain an Astral grade Infinity Crystal, you'll have to advance the crystal to the Mystic grade on your own or with the help of the Paragon Ancestor... I can't do that for you.]

"So you can only reduce the grade of an Infinity Crystal but not increase it?"

[Exactly, and I can only reduce it by one grade.]

"By one grade?"

[Yes, by one grade. If you were to find an Immortal grade Infinity Crystal before becoming a Mystic Being, I won't be able to degrade it to the Astral level.]

"Hmm." Corey rubbed his chin, "Alright, but why did you say that I shouldn't fuse with the Omni-Weapon Infinity Crystal but the Water Infinity Crystal?"

[Because the Omni-Weapon Infinity Crystal is developing a spirit.]

Corey's eyes widened slightly, "A spirit? An Infinity Crystal can develop a spirit?"

[It's extremely rare, so rare that very few in existence know about it, but yes, Infinity Crystals can develop a spirit or in simpler terms, a consciousness.]

[The Paragon Ancestor's Infinity Crystals have developed spirits.]

"I guess that should not be so surprising." Corey said with a slightly unsure tone, and then Nina chuckled softly.

[It isn't. He's the Paragon Ancestor after all.]

[Anyway, as I was saying, the Omni-Weapon Infinity Crystal has developed a spirit and if I was to degrade the Omni-Weapon Infinity Crystal, it would either destroy the spirit or severely damage the spirit.]

[Doing this will damage the Omni-Weapon Infinity Crystal and it would be extremely difficult maybe even impossible for you to advance it to the Immortal grade.]

"And I cannot fuse with the Omni-Weapon Infinity Crystal just the way it is because it's at the Mystic grade and I'm still an Astral Being?"

Corey's lips twitched once again, "Which means my survival depends entirely on luck."

[Exactly, but we both know that your luck is not enough even close enough to save you if you decide to fuse with the Omni-Weapon Infinity Crystal.]

Sigh

Corey sighed, and then he shook his head.

"Whatever, I'm not going to risk my life for something like this. I'll fuse with the Water Infinity Crystal instead."

[Good. You can fuse with the Omni-Weapon Infinity Crystal when you become a Mystic Being. From what I can see, the spirit of the Omni-Weapon Infinity Crystal likes you.]

[It shouldn't make it too difficult for you to fuse with it.]

"Hmm."

Corey hummed, and then he brought out the ancient black pot which he took from the realm above the Shattered Sea in the Shattered Dimension of the Old Ones.

The ancient black pot was no longer gushing out water like it used to do, and although Corey wished to study the pot, he knew he didn't have the time to study the black pot that was beyond abnormal.

He decided to send the pot to his Perceptual Nexus Repository so that his Stars of Consciousness and Chucky would be able to study it.

"I wonder what I'll be able to find about the pot. For it to be able to seal an Infinity Crystal, it means that it's not normal in the slightest."

"The Omni-Weapon Infinity Crystal was also sealed by a rock... The Shattered Dimension was truly a strange dimension of immense secrets and mysteries. A part of me even wishes I had more time to explore the dimension."

Corey gave a self mocking smile as he had this thought. He placed his hand inside the pot, and then he brought out the Water Infinity Crystal.

If Queen Vaerina of the Shattered Sea knew that Corey was able to remove the Water Infinity Crystal with such ease, she would not only lose control on the spot, she would die due to the immense shock and rage that would fill her heart.

The Water Infinity Crystal was an extremely beautiful crystal that was always changing. At one moment, it was like a ball of water the size of a table tennis egg, and in the next moment, it had the shape of a raindrop or a teardrop.

It took several other shapes, and Corey observed it for a few seconds before he swallowed it.

The moment he swallowed it, he felt a surge of energy fill up his entire body and for a moment he felt like his entire body had become water.

It felt like he had no control over his body, but this only lasted for some seconds before his mind regained itself.

Corey exhaled deeply, and then he observed his body.

Although his physical stats were still the same, he knew that his body had changed. Not only that, his already large mana pool just became much larger.

"Three Infinity Crystals... Poison, Earth, and Water... I have three Infinity Crystals in me and I have so much mana in me... I doubt any Mystic Being apart from people like Pamela would have as much mana as I do."

The moment Corey had this thought, he recalled that there were True Paragons who were not like him but were born as True Paragons, and they would most likely also have access to a lot of Infinity Crystals especially if they were born in the realm of the Paragons.

Sigh

"This is a reminder that I shouldn't get conceited with the power I have right now... Pamela is a prime example that there are beings that are even bigger monsters than I am."
