Loranhil reviewed the system’s evaluation. Due to less overlap between her new abilities and innate talents, the bonuses weren’t as significant as before. However, she didn’t mind much, as her Nature Sequence was mainly for support, focusing on production, daily life, and logistics. For combat, she would rely on the Demon Sequence.
The principle of specialization applied here. In the future, when cultivating Magic Sequence, Dragon Sequence, and others, she would choose different directions to broaden her range of abilities.
After adjusting to her new profession, she looked at the room full of vines and flowers, worrying about how to explain this to the maids tomorrow.
Finally, she decided to use the cover of night to blow the vines with wind to a corner of the courtyard, letting them climb and cover the surrounding walls, as if they had been growing there for a long time unnoticed.
After disguising her work, Loranhil flew back to her bedroom balcony before going to sleep peacefully. Although the system required earning wealth without relying on supernatural powers, this didn’t mean she couldn’t use them at all during this period, as long as her actions weren’t related to the task.
The next morning, when Loranhil woke up and sat before the mirror, she discovered her hair had changed color. It was no longer the dyed golden color, nor her original silver, but a light cyan.
Do supernatural sequences come with transformation effects? She silently grumbled to herself. She had to take out a [Rainbow Potion] and drink it, then slowly adjust her hair color and skin tone according to her design. Not only did she change her hair back to golden, but she also made her skin tone slightly less eye-catching.
She didn’t know why her skin was excessively fair. Although splitting boulders with her bare hands wasn’t difficult, her appearance gave the impression of a pampered young lady with a gentle, easily bullied personality. The magical beasts and beast-eared tribes who had witnessed her abilities in the Tisilan Mountain Range wouldn’t underestimate her, but it was different in human society. First impressions could easily lead to misunderstandings about her strength.
After grooming herself again, she had a simple breakfast of coconut bread and raspberry juice. Then she prepared to go out for some “undercover inspection” to observe the city’s atmosphere and how people lived. She also wanted to understand how ordinary people viewed the Carithes Merchant Association.
She had assigned tasks to Ceres and Chelsea, keeping them busy today, and none of the maids in the vast mansion dared to manage the young miss.
After sending away the maids around her, she put on her previous black robe and another set of her own clothes. With the aid of her supernatural abilities, the situation in the association headquarters appeared in her mind like a living map, allowing her to easily avoid all personnel. The guards at the gate only felt a gust of wind, and in the moment they turned, she easily passed through the side door, quietly leaving the association headquarters.

A moist sea breeze gently blew through the streets, rustling the lush foliage. The laurel trees along the roadside released waves of fresh fragrance.
Loranhil walked on the stone-paved street in her gray boots, observing the exotic architecture. Most houses in Hopland were built with red bricks, with brownish roof tiles. The tops of the houses were mostly various triangular shapes with wide angles, giving an overall soft and comfortable appearance, unlike the sharp and towering Gothic architecture.
Near noon, under the intense sunlight, there weren’t many pedestrians on the street aside from the constant flow of carriages. The shops along the street weren’t as crowded as when Loranhil entered the city that night.
At this moment, an elegant silver carriage stopped by the roadside, with several guards standing nearby. A young lady with fiery red hair stepped down from the carriage.
“Is this the shop, Penny?”
“Yes, my lady.” The maid beside her replied somewhat impatiently, seemingly not taking her mistress seriously, while the guards appeared accustomed to this.
“Penny, if you don’t do your job properly, don’t expect your salary this month.” The red-haired young lady seemed a bit annoyed.
“Yes, yes, yes, Lady Fenrai. I’ve always been doing my job well. But my salary is always paid by your father, so what you say doesn’t count.”
“Penny, what belongs to my father will be mine in the future. The future is on my side, so you should listen to me.”
The red-haired young lady and her maid conversed as if no one else was around. Though it seemed like a small argument, those familiar with them knew that the mistress and maid actually had a very good relationship, without much restraint between them, appearing quite casual.
“I heard this shop can dye fabric in a red color like the sunset. I’ve always wanted to make a dress with this gradient red.”
“My lady, I think this is just another trick. You haven’t forgotten the previous experiences, have you? That alchemist told you the same thing back then, cheating you out of many gold coins claiming to develop some new dyeing technique.” The chestnut-haired maid quietly reminded her mistress as they entered the clothing store.
The sign above the shop door featured a mermaid silhouette, with the tail made of a gradient of white, yellow, orange, red, and purple. Beside it were the words “Twilight Mermaid” in large letters.
