SCP: A TRUE ANOMALY

Chapter 2: SCP-9743

After a moment, MTF α-9 was extracting the anomaly. The helicopters were in direction to go back to origin, but a sudden call to Dr. Sophia Light made a change of plans. The call was an order to bring whatever anomaly was directly to Site 19. The reasons are unknow, but must be very important.

After a long travel, the helicopter reached Site 19, where MTF α-11, was waiting them for arrive. Once MTF α-9 gets down of the helicopter, SCP-073 continues forcing the anomaly to breath the gas inside the gas mask, but sadly, there was no gas inside since time ago, but luckily, the anomaly was out of conscious.

MTF α-11 took the anomaly, and told MTF α-9 to go back to their Site. After some travel after entering Gate A, taking the elevator to floor 3 underground, where they left the anomaly inside a cell of containment, small and without anything, but reinforced.

Quickly, the researchers started working and organizing, as researchers started to being assigned to study the anomaly using the cameras of the cell. And with some quick work, the whole team got set up.

And they set the anomaly the SCP number of 9743, becoming the entity officially in the files and in the Foundation as SCP-9743. They also did a start file in all the information they obtained so far, and from the containment of SCP-9743.

Thank you for the clarification! Here's the updated containment report based on your description, where SCP-073 and the paralyzing smoke grenades are used together to contain an anomaly. SCP-073 is not the source of the smoke, but its involvement in the operation is crucial, with the smoke grenades being deployed during the containment process.

SCP Containment Report

SCP Classification: SCP-9743

Subject: Missing information

Containment Date: March 15, 2022

Location: Site 19

Involved Anomalies: SCP-073

Introduction

This document outlines the successful containment operation involving SCP-073 and paralyzing smoke grenades during the capture of SCP-9743, an anomalous entity exhibiting extreme risk to personnel and civilians. SCP-073 was employed to assist in the containment by facilitating the neutralization of the anomaly through tactical means, while the paralyzing smoke grenades were deployed to incapacitate SCP-9743 long enough to secure it.

Containment Procedure Overview:

1. Initial Discovery and Containment Challenge Discovery: SCP-9743 was discovered in Madrid, where it displayed unpredictable and highly dangerous behaviors, including usage of tentacles capable of destroy with ease structures, vehicles, and people. Containment Challenges: Due to its aggressive nature and unknown capabilities, direct engagement was deemed unfeasible. The use of SCP-073 was approved to assist in the neutralization, as well as paralyzing smoke grenades, to incapacitate the entity during the capture phase.

2. SCP-073's Role in Containment

SCP-073's Involvement: SCP-073, known for its ability to reflect all damage, was deployed to aid in the immobilization of SCP-9743. SCP-073, while not directly attacking or defending, was part of the specialized containment team designed to neutralize the anomaly using a combination of a defensive tactic. SCP-073's Operational Support: Security and Restraint: SCP-073 assisted in the operation by providing protection for the containment personnel and utilizing its unique capabilities to secure the perimeter. Tactical Advantage: SCP-073's presence allowed for a more organized and controlled capture, as the anomaly had a tendency to destroy and kill everything. SCP-073's ability was invaluable during this high-risk operation.

3. Deployment of Paralyzing Smoke Grenades Grenade Characteristics: Paralyzing smoke grenades were deployed to incapacitate SCP-9743 and render it immobile for subsequent capture. The grenades release a dense, non-lethal smoke that induces paralysis in living organisms within a 30-meter radius. These were strategically used to prevent SCP-9743 from engaging in any hostile actions during the containment process. Grenade Usage: Initial Smoke Grenade Deployment: Once SCP-9743's guard was lowered, Dr. Sophia Light got use of a combination of the paralyzing smoke with a gas mask. This ensured that SCP-9743 would be immobilized temporarily without causing harm. Further Grenade Use: Several additional grenades were used to further ensure that the target remained incapacitated. The smoke cloud effectively neutralized any aggressive responses, allowing the team to take and lead SCP-9743 in for containment.

4. Helicopter Transport to Site 19 Post-Capture: After SCP-9743 was successfully immobilized and secured, it was prepared for transport to Site 19. The paralyzing smoke ensured that the entity remained inert throughout the transport phase. Transport Method: A specially secured helicopter was used to airlift the anomaly to Site 19. Backup Security: During the helicopter transport, SCP-073 remained on-site for further security support. The personnel deployed for this operation followed strict protocols, ensuring the successful movement of the anomaly to Site 19.

5. Site 19 Containment Upon arrival at Site 19, SCP-9743 was transferred into an isolation chamber designed specifically for high-risk entities. The chamber utilized advanced containment technology to prevent any potential escape or resurgence from the entity. SCP-073's Continued Role: SCP-073 was placed under observation to ensure it remained contained and was not required for further action unless necessary. No further use of paralyzing smoke grenades was needed after the anomaly was safely secured in the containment room.

Conclusion

The combined efforts of SCP-073, paralyzing smoke grenades, and intellect of Dr. Sophia Light were pivotal in the successful capture and transportation of SCP-9743. SCP-073 provided the necessary support to ensure the safety of the personnel involved, while the strategic use of smoke grenades effectively neutralized the threat. SCP-9743 is now securely contained at Site 19, with continued monitoring to assess any potential risks or changes in behavior.

After the time of few hours, the SCP Research Team, observed a strange thing inside the cell of SCP-9743. The anomaly itself started to change of shape while remained unconscious. All the black color and shape, became slightly smaller, now clothes being visible, and more humanoid and normal than before. The subject was visible as a male humanoid, with yellow hair with black tone, wearing a black jacket with fur in the hoodie, jeans, and sport shoes.
