[A week after Melvins death Lucas and few other boys are arrested due to charges of physical bullying, assault, rape and attempted murder of Melvin. The whole school is speechless after learning the truth.]

Damian- did you tell them?

Amy- tell who what?

Alice- tell the police about what happened.

Amy- i knew his uncle assaulted him but i didn't know he was.... used by Lucas and the gang. i can't wrap my head around this.

Alice- well it is true.

[The whole class, school teacher and principal go to the funeral. Everyone cries except most boys. Melvins mom has an altercation with Melvins father. The accused family friend is also arrested and jailed. The day is sunny but the atmosphere is grim from all the tension around. The silence is heavy after Melvins mother leaves.]

Damian- i didn't know him that well.

Amy- hmm?

[Damian hands her a tissue.]

Amy- thanks.

Damian- so you guys were good friends...

Amy- nope. Best friends until we broke up.

Damian- I'm Damian by the way.

Amy- why aren't you with Alice? What are you doing here? What do you want?

[Damian saves his contact in her phone. More commotion happens in the apartment complex, police gets involved. Melvins mom throws away all of Melvins toys and clothes out the flat window while crying hysterically.]

Alice- wow...she has really lost her mind literally.

Damian- oh look a goku figure fell out.

Amy- you guys are psychopaths....

Damian- what?

Amy- out of everyone here, you two are barely showing any tears.

Damian- you don't have cry to be sad. Plus Alice did cry plenty yesterday.

Amy- hahaha.... i think she's happy he's dead. Her revenge is complete.

Alice- oh just shove it now. I don't think i can ever be as pretentious and petty as you even if i try. Have you seen Melvins dad side family? They weren't even pretending when they gossiped about the dead boy in his own funeral. Fuck... even your own mom and sister doesn't care and all you can see is us...

Amy- as if you have all the sympathy and understanding this world has to give.

Damian- look Amy even the guys didn't cry. I mean look at your second favorite guy Nathan. He just looks like he's in some field trip.

Amy- i think he's just traumatized Damian. You need to get your eyes checked.

Amy- oh you don't say shit. You falsely accused Lucas and his friends of crimes they didn't even commit. You're a fucking monster.

Alice- you know sometimes I'm jealous of how much fucking stupid you are. Did you not see the news? Are you that dumb?

Amy- oh like the news media says anything true these days. It's all fake just like you.

[Amy's sister takes Amy away after noticing the fued. Some teachers ask Alice and Damian separately about the fight cause Amy's sister told them that Alice was bullying Amy. After they finish grilling Alice and Alice also answers sternly in her own behalf, the teachers leave her. Alice weeps silently after sitting in the school bus, next to Damian.]

Damian- hey you ok?

Alice- yeah....

Damian- wanna run away?

Alice- hahaha... whom did you hear that from? Amy?

Damian- damn, were you spying on us?

Alice- kinda.

Damian- you are really obsessed you know.

Alice- i am. And i regret it.

Damian- why don't you wanna runaway?

Alice- isn't it obvious? I have dreams, passions, duties, loved ones. I have something to live for. I have hopes and dreams. Unlike Amy or Melvin.

Damian- hahaha....

Damian- damn. What if we come back after 9pm?

Alice- i have science tuition. Plus i just came to a funeral. I would like to rest at home.

Damian- guess I'm going alone then.

Alice- why you wanna leave?

Damian- too much going on right now. I wanna rest.

Damian- do you really like me?

[Alice scoffs at Damian.]

Alice- you want an honest answer?

Damian- yeah.

Alice- no. Not anymore.

Alice- the more i know the person, the less i care.

Damian- hahaha. Same here.

Damian- perhaps.

Alice- i mean it isn't easy going out with your own brother after all. It's easier to let it go i think.

[Damian scoffs and squints his eyes, rubbing his face with his palm]

Damian- you really don't take me seriously do you?

Alice- no i have been thinking for a while now and i have decided to let you go finally. It's good. I think it's good for both of us.

Damian- after everything?

Alice- come on we barely even talk.

Damian- ...

Alice- feeling bad?

Damian- shut up.

Alice- that's how i felt with you in the beginning.

Damian- what are you... taking revenge on me now?

Alice- no. I thought about what you told me that day. I don't think it's good to be with each other. It was a hard pill to swallow but I don't wanna be a hung up anymore. I'm sorry if you felt very awkward around me. I just wanna set things— right for once...

Damian- seriously?

Alice- yeah. I'm actually letting you go. I won't bother you anymore.

Damian- ok...

Alice- feel free to date whoever you please.

[Damian scoffs, leaves the seat and joins the other boys at the backseats. ]
