Chapter 39: Corrupte Annihilator
I was not too far from them, yet they couldn't sense me, thanks to the [Shadeless].
I raised my hand and took a deep breath while channeling my Mana to the best of my ability to avoid wasting any power. I was a little skeptical about using [Wind Blade] at the start, but I decided not to overthink it and just do it.

I used my [Swift Cut] immediately after I used [Wind Blade] to strengthen the power of the cuts. The wind traveled over the minor goblins and damaged one of the Corrupted Orcs at the back. Slash! The depth of the cut was very shallow, and I could have guessed it was going to happen. I tried to use another [Wind Blade], but the monsters noticed me.
There were about seven Corrupted Goblins and five Corrupted Orcs in the camp. I wanted to flee to make some slow kills, but I noticed something.
Although the Orcs saw me from the bushes, they didn't attack me. They hadn't turned insane due to corruption, as I had seen them attacking an animal not too long ago. The reason they weren't attacking me was to observe my fighting style. This was a bit far-fetched for a mindless creature like an Orc, but I didn't find it strange, since the corruption might have boosted their intelligence too.
That was good for me. I could handle the goblins with ease to decrease their numbers and then attack the Orcs. Of course, I needed to be mindful too. If the Orcs knew about my strength, they would run away to save their lives, so I decided to act weak.
Gear! Corrupted Goblins began to rush towards me one by one. Even though I could slice their heads off, I didn't do it and began to damage the goblins little by little in order to kill them.
After a seemingly intense one-hour fight, I looked up, breathing heavily, to see the Orcs' reaction. I saw laughter on their faces as if they were looking at a weak bunny about to be hunted. I felt displeased by their look, but I was relieved to see that my acting was working.
Three of the Orcs weren't really interested since they thought I was just a weakling, so the other two began to slowly walk toward me with a smile on their faces, ready to enjoy a little hunting session.
I was standing effortlessly. My face was covered in blood, but it wasn't my own blood; it was the Goblins' I had slain. The Orcs were proud of themselves, thinking they were stronger. I decided to act again since I wanted to hunt all of them, and letting one go wasn't an option.
The Orc I had damaged with the [Wind Blade] not too long ago threw a heavy punch at me to knock me unconscious. Of course, I evaded it effortlessly but made it look like a coincidence. The Orc, which was a little annoyed, began to throw punches at me, one after another, and I evaded them, one after another. It was easy for me to dodge the attacks since I had a lot of points in both Agility and Sense.
In my past life, the Sense Stat was a bit strange; since you couldn't actually sense anything behind a computer, the system worked like an alert system. As you increased your Sense Stat, you could get clearer alerts and predictions of the attacks to dodge them.
I felt the same way after I put myself into action. I could feel the attacks, just like getting alerts from the system before getting hit by them, and it was awesome. With my insane knowledge of pattern reading and the newfound sensation I was experiencing, I felt invincible.
'Alright, playtime is over.'
With a majestic sword style, I chopped off the head of the angry Orc and killed him. It took me less than a second to kill the other Orc with [Swift Cut].

GRA–!? The other Orcs were shocked to see that I killed the Orcs easily. I felt like they were going to start running, but they didn't. They thought that the reason I could kill the Orcs was because of my luck… how do I know that? Well, it's because of their returned smiles.
They were as arrogant as an Orc should be, and I felt a little irritated by it. The three Orcs began to rush towards me in order to end me, but I didn't fret.
I pointed my sword towards the Orcs that were running towards me with calmness. I then took a deep breath and closed my eyes for a mere second. In those seconds, I could sense the Mana that was floating around my body and giving me information about my surroundings.
Sense was a little weird in [Doomed Fantasy]. The Sense Stat was the only stat that didn't have a specialized Skill related to it, and that was a question for not just me but for everyone. The only skills that had a connection to the Sense Stat were Detection-type Passive Skills, such as [Mana Sense].
By increasing a skill level, you could get maximum efficiency from a skill, but that was a little different for Detection-type Passive Skills, as they could get stronger and more effective as you increased your Sense Stat.
Because of that, one could understand anything as long as they had good Detection-type Passive Skills and high Sense. With a good understanding of your surroundings, you didn't need to know the patterns of a monster to win, since you could sense their moves before they could hit you, allowing you to avoid them easily.
I opened my eyes after a short session of meditation. The monsters were in front of me, about to attack me, but I kept my sword's point in front of me, and as soon as they reached me, I dodged their every attack one by one.
It was a little hard, but it was doable for me since I had high stats.
As I was dodging their attacks, I began to attack their bodies' vital points. The smiling look on their faces turned to terror, but it was too late to regret it since I killed all of them without getting hit a single time.
