A few seconds had passed, and Ron, Fleur, Harry and Hermione were still staring at me paralyzed and shocked, with their minds processing what they had just seen and heard.

And I, who wasn't in a hurry or anything like that, just looked at them calmly while still running my hand over the snake's head, which seemed quite relaxed with my touch.

"§Hmm, very good...§" the Python said in a slow, happy hiss, reminding me a little of Nyx's satisfied purrs when I petted her.

"§I'm glad you're enjoying it§" I told her amusedly.

And it seemed that hearing me speak Parseltongue again caused the three Gryffindors and the Veela in front of me to snap out of their dazed states.

"You... That... Snake... Speak..." Ron tried to say, stuttering as he pointed at me with a shocked look on his face.

And seeing this I rolled my eyes a little.

"Yes Ron, I can speak Parseltongue," I said, completing the sentence for the red-haired boy.

And by saying this I had confirmed to Ron and the other three teenagers in the classroom that what they had just seen was real.

And I had said this in such a calm and disinterested way that it seemed like this was just another normal occurrence in my everyday life.

And in a way that was actually true, especially if we took into account all the incredible and surprising things I had done or seen since entering the wizarding world.

"But how?" Hermione said, taking me out of my thoughts and making me look at her, "How do you have this ability Ethan? You're a muggleborn" she questioned me with a confused expression.

"Well, being a muggleborn does not make it impossible for a wizard or witch to awaken magical abilities as far as I know," I replied with a shrug.

"Well... Yes, that's true I guess..." Hermione said with a grimace, "But that still doesn't make sense, and it shouldn't even be possible."

"Hermione, I thought we were done with this discussion about what is and isn't possible involving magical abilities," I said, looking at her with a raised eyebrow.

And upon hearing this, Hermione blinked, remembering everything we had discussed in the last 10 minutes.

And realizing that her question really didn't make sense and was a bit exaggerated the bushy haired girl looked away.

"Uh... You're right," Hermione said, a little embarrassed.

"I always am," I nodded cheekily.

After that I turned to look at the one who was the central point of all today's revelations, and looking at Harry I could see him looking at me with slightly wide eyes, in complete silence.

And using my empathy I felt his feelings, which were surprise, shock, relief, confusion and happiness.

"So Harry, now we are both connected by Parseltongue too," I said, snapping him out of his stupor.

"Y-Yeah... And that's surprising... and amazing!" he said somewhat in wonder.

"I know," I said, smiling slightly at his excitement, "And now when you use your ability, you won't have to think about those two dark idiots anymore."

"Now you can think about the fact that you have the same ability as the amazing, brilliant, genius, and gorgeous, Ethan Night," I proclaimed, with a slightly cocky and arrogant look on my face.

And hearing this, Harry could only nod, feeling happy and a little lighter and calmer, as if a weight had been lifted off his shoulders.

And of course, he still had a slight apprehension about using his ability to speak Parseltongue, but now he no longer felt so much repulsion and aversion towards his gift, since a friend of his also had it.

And even the thought of talking to a snake no longer seemed so strange and scary to him.

And I, who was looking at Harry attentively, noticed these small changes in him, which made me nod in satisfaction, happy to see that my plan had worked, at least partially.

'Well, I can't change his mind and feelings with a simple snap of my fingers... This is something that has to happen over time and naturally' I thought.

But leaving that aside I remembered that I still had something to say to them.

"Listen, I have shown you a little of my ability, and I am not afraid or worried that others will find out that I can talk to snakes," I began to say, getting their attention again, "However, I would like you not to tell anyone about my ability, since I still want to keep it a secret, at least for a little while longer."

And as soon as I finished speaking, Fleur looked at me with a serious expression, "You know I would never tell anyone a secret of yours," she said.

"I know," I smiled lightly at her, feeling her sincerity.

And I wasn't worried at all, as Fleur was already keeping the things I had done at the Quidditch World Cup a secret, and that was much more important than just talking to snakes.

And the golden trio, after hearing my request, looked at each other, before turning to me.

"Well, I won't tell anyone your secret either." Ron was the first to speak.

"Same here, my mouth is a tomb" Hermione said.

"Yeah," Harry nodded, "And I won't even tell Sirius or Aunt Andy."

And when he said that I looked at him with a raised eyebrow, "Oh, actually I don't mind if you tell them about it, mainly because I think it will make things easier for you when you tell them about your own ability." I said.

And hearing this Harry blinked, "Oh... Hmm... Alright then."

And nodding I then turned to the only redhead in the room, "And the same goes for your family Ron, you can tell them about my ability"

"Huh? Really?" he asked.

"Yes," I nodded, before thinking for a moment, "Well, practically all the redheads are fine, but I think it's best not to tell Charlie."

And hearing this Ron snorted, "Yeah, Mr. Perfect would definitely make a fuss about that," he said.

And I snorted too, knowing that a fuss was an understatement.

But shaking my head I decided to change the subject, realizing that we had been here in this room for a long time.

"Well" I began to say, "Today's training was certainly very difficult and exhausting, with many surprises and shocking revelations, and I'm sure y'all have a lot to think about and a lot to absorb."

"And that's why I think we should end our training session here, as we all deserve some time to relax and rest," I concluded.

"Oui, I agree," Fleur nodded, "And I can't wait to get back to my room in the Beauxbatons carriage for a long, refreshing and relaxing bath."

"Same," Hermione said, stretching slightly.

But when she stretched she felt a slight twinge of pain on her left side, making her hold it, "Urgh... But maybe before that I'll stop by the hospital wing to get some healing potions" she said with a pained expression.

"Oh, sorry about that," I said with a small, apologetic smile, "I think I exaggerated a little during the fight."

"Do you think?" She looked at me with a frown.

And looking at Ron and Harry I saw that they were also looking at me with grimaces on their faces, and even Fleur was looking at me with pursed lips.

And being stared at by all of them I decided to do what any intelligent person would do in this situation, which is a tactical withdrawal.

"Well, I'm glad to see that everyone enjoyed today's training session," I said, looking at them with a cheerful smile that irritated them, "But now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take our little snake lady here to the Forbidden Forest."

And I didn't even wait for them to say anything before I turned to the python that was standing obediently next to me, and crouching down I took the snake in my arms.

"Be careful Ethan, that thing is dangerous" Ron warned me.

"You don't need to worry, it's harmless to me," I said, holding the python in my arms nonchalantly.

"Err... I don't think a snake that size can be called harmless, Ethan," Hermione said with a strange look.

"Yeah," Ron nodded, quickly agreeing with her, "And I'm sure it has more than enough venom to kill us all if it bites us." he said fearfully.

"First, I'm sure it won't bite me," I started to say, rolling my eyes. "Second, the most venomous snakes in the world are actually the smallest, and third, it's a python, one of the species of snake that isn't venomous."

"Wait, isn't it venomous?" Ron repeated, looking at the python warily.

"Yes, and actuay the only dangerous thing about it is that it likes to wrap itself around its prey and crush their bones slowly and painfully, before devouring their bodies entirely" I said completely relaxed and calm.

And hearing this Ron lifted his head to look at me so quickly that I thought I heard a snap.

"And how is that better than being poisoned!?" he exclaimed in alarm.

"It's not, I guess," I shrugged.

And hearing this and seeing my calm behavior, the teenagers in front of me sweated.

But I was no longer paying attention to them, and looking back at the snake in my arms I saw that it seemed completely tame and docile.

And then with a little effort - thank you, enhanced physical strength - I placed the large python on my shoulders, letting it crawl up my body until it found a comfortable position for itself.

And it didn't take long for the snake to get comfortable, wrapping its tail around my abdomen and chest while resting its head on my right forearm.

"Hmm, I think having a snake wrapped around me like this makes me look more scary and powerful," I commented out loud, looking at myself.

And now I was understanding a little why Salazar and Voldemort had a fixation on the cold-blooded reptile.

"Hmm, I guess I can get used to it," I shrugged.

And then after that I walked to the door and opened it, and without even looking or saying anything else to my four students I left the room, proudly carrying a python on my shoulders.

And Fleur, Harry, Ron and Hermione who were looking at me, who was showing off the dangerous snake like it was some kind of accessory, could only shake their heads in exasperation.
