Reverend Insanity: Insatiable

Chapter 30: chapter 30 Ready for the seas

For two weeks I bought a large supply of food from players shop. I would then turn all the food into food path dao water with liquid gu and then turned it into wine with wine gu.

I also bought some transformation path materials and did the same with it. With the amount I have I should have enough for my new gu. Activating qi shape gu I began my refinement, the refinement process was simple and smooth. Mainly because the gu I was refining was rank 1. After 15 minutes the gu refinement was a success.

In my palm was a finger long gu that looked like a tree log. After refilling my primeval sea essence with primeval water. I activated my new gu, at the same time I began to drink my food path dao wine. After the third bottle a small figure appeared infront of me. It looked like a mouth with thin red lips, once it fully appeared the gu I used disappeared.

The gu I used was an amazing achievement of mine and a transformation path gu immortal. The gu is called totem gu, it can create a totem like the one in the story, it's a single use gu. Using this gu will create a totem but what type all depended on what the user ate. Most totem created were offensive type with a few rare oddities.

As for my totem since i created it with a pure food path material that was then refined even further into a purer food path material. I was able to create this totem that specialized in defense. It's ability is to eat at the very dao itself that attacks me so long as I have primeval essence it'll use it to activate on it's own. Of course its not a foolproof way to defend myself. Physical attacks can still cause me harm but most attacks will be negated. Of course if the attack is to strong then it could destroy my totem and still harm me.

Thats why its best to increase the strength of the totem by feeding on materials that match its dao. Right now my totem is barely at a rank 1 level, it could stop some weak rank 1 attacks but any strong rank 1 ones would destroy it. That's why I've stocked up on food path materials.

I began to drink my food path wine that I've created. After a few bottles the mouth started to smile, after a few more bottles it's lips grew plumper. It's not enough more is needed, so i drank even more basically finishing all that i had made, but it was a success. The mouth now smiled with its teeth showing, good now its able to eat away rank 4 attacks.

At rank 1 strength the mouth appears, at its rank 2 strength it smiles, at its rank 3 strength its lips grew plumper, and at rank 4 it smiles with it's teeth showing. I'll keep it at its rank 4 capability, it still needs my primeval sea essence to activate and at its rank 4 level it'll take more primeval sea essence, but it'll be able to protect me from most dangers. Once i reach rank 4 I'll make it reach it's rank 5 strength. Normally to upgrade a totem it takes a long time and lots of materials, but with liquid gu to make it into a more versatile and pure form and wine gu to further refine it. It was simply a top tier food path material,

In my last life I might have not been able to kill immortals but i was more than capable of defending myself and defeating them. This totem had saved my ass countless times by eating the attacks that were aimed at me. Thus I named it Dao Devourer, it's a top tier food path defensive totem. Dao devourer then went to the back of my neck and went onto it like a tattoo.

Perfect now with Dao Devourer and my ship having Gu's might formation set. I can now set sail to hunt pirates and make the world a better place. While I also gain the good karma luck from doing so.

I took out some wanted posters that I got from the merchants in town. After lookfor through them and narrowing down potential victims. I found the perfect demonic gu master that caught my eye.

Wanted dead or alive

The Sea Plague

Rank 3 upper stage poison path gu master. Wanted for poisoning innocents and letting them die if they didn't pay a fee. Warning he has a crew of 20 rank 1 gu masters and 10 rank 2, all of which use poison path gu. Known locations the deadly sea, and venomous serpent sea.

With Dao Devourer I don't got to worry about being poisoned and the first place I'll look is venomous serpent sea. I'll stock up on some serpents while there, and the odds of me finding more hundred beast kings there also rise.

I activated marionette gu and had eagle and jackal the sails. Then I put small appetite gu into Gu's might formation and activated that. My next destination venomous serpent sea.

.....

It took me about two weeks sailing to reach venomous serpent sea. I was easy to tell once I was there though, as lots of serpents were up swimming or could vaguely be seen in the ocean. Wherever my ship went the serpents avoided us as if we were something toxic. Thanks to the formation giving off the feeling of being incredibly full the beast nearby avoided us naturally.

Which was a good thing otherwise I'd have to be wary of the serpents climbing on to my ship. On a normal ship the crew would have to keep an eye out and kill the serpents that did climb aboard the ship. Almost nobody would sail in this sea because of these nuisances, thats why pirate groups sail here to avoid pursuers.

Hmmmmm no ship in sight and so far no hundred beast kings. Well their is one other thing I can do here in the meantime. I sent my deep sea serpent into the sea and had it subdue the serpents around it. Then I ordered it to bring them onto the ship where i placed them into a large shipping crate.

There are some venomous snakes but most are anacondas, well if i see any serpents worth keeping I'll take them out the crate and add them to my little army. I then had my deep sea serpent release control on these serpents as i had it go back into the sea to gather more.

The serpents in the crate then became unruly without a leader and tried to get out of the crate, but just as they were about to leave my power python showed up and kept them in check. With that system in place i was able to fill up three large shipping creates with serpents from the sea.

I was even able to gather about 25 deep sea serpents and 30 ship wreckers. My deep sea serpent had much better control over the same species. While these ship wreckers were serpents that looked like sea weed but they were hated by anyone that encountered them. Since they were famous for sinking ships, they can release a venom over their whole body thats like acid. They've learned to wrap themselves around prey to end them and then feast on them. As for human ships they mistake them for large prey and sink them, and without a ship most people end up prey to them, other beasts, or the sea itself.

They'll be perfect for attacking others out here at sea. Now to the onto next part activated qi shape gu creating a large hand and picked up the serpents that were inside one of the large shipping crates. Then I crushed them using grip gu blood and guts seeped out of my qi hand, but it didn't stop there as I repeated the same process with the other two crates filled with serpents.

I then used soul lens gu to see all the souls of the serpents now Soul Pill. I felt the strength of my soul rise a by a good amount. Then from my aperture I brought out drain blood gu that then ate all the blood that covered my ship. As for the guts and flesh of the serpents well I still have to feed my serpents to. So nothing went to waste as i had my two hundred beast kings eat their fill, and then had the rest eat everything that was left.

This sea is fantastic I can get new serpents into my army, while i improve my soul strength, feed and refine drain blood gu, and feed my den all at the same time. I should stay here for a bit, hell i should put large appetite into the gu formation to attract serpents to me to increase my efficiency.

....
