Su Xiao continued contacting the other teams. All three exits of the auction house were under surveillance.

It was now 9:30 p.m., and the auction wouldn't start for another hour. It wasn't time to act yet.

"First-Class White Night, here's the mask you requested."

A CCG member in a black combat suit handed Su Xiao a mask. When the CCG launched large-scale operations, their personnel wore heavy combat gear to minimize casualties.

Taking the mask, Su Xiao put it on and headed toward the auction house.

The main entrance was locked, with only the back door open.

No ghoul would hold an auction so openly, especially in the 14th Ward.

Approaching the back door, Su Xiao pulled out a small spray can and sprayed some on his clothes.

This was a scent-masking spray, preventing ghouls from identifying him as human.

Most ghouls had a keen sense of smell. If Su Xiao entered the auction house without this precaution, he'd be immediately discovered.

The plan to raid the auction was simple. He would first enter the building alone. Once the auction began, they would block the three exits. After that, it would be a massacre.

In the dim, flashing lights and deafening music, the ghouls were having a wild party.

Madness, hysteria—that's what Su Xiao felt from these ghouls.

They lived day to day, never knowing if they'd see tomorrow, so they reveled in the moment.
